LET'S PRAY FOR THE INJUSTICES OF RACISM

Zechariah 7:9 thus says the Lord: execute true justice, show compassion to everyone. 7:10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or poor. Let none of us plan evil in our hearts against our brothers and sisters

Father, we ask for both forgiveness and conversion as we open our hearts and minds in communal prayer. Lord, Let us pray as we reflect on the injustices of racism. Father, the face of racism looks different today from how it looked in the past. So, today we gather in the love of God and neighbors to ask You, please dismantle racism. The racism in our hearts, and our world systems. Father, Dismantle Spatial Racism and help cure the devastating impact of massive economic disparities, between our communities and the isolating of people geographically according to race, religion, and class. Father, dismantle the Institutional Racism, that discriminate in our criminal justice system, employment, housing, health care, political power, and education. Lord, You and the world 🌎 know about the Environmental Racism. That affects the poor and the powerless most, Lord, they're suffering from harmful effects of pollution and poison water. Lord, soften the hearts of the big companies and the people of power, that are causing this deadly impact on our world and the people. Lord, search their hearts and filled them with compassion ❤ kindness ❤ and understanding ❤; as we reflect on some of the injustices, resulting from all forms of racism. Lord, please dismantle the hate and fears we harbor in our hearts for those that are different from ourselves and replace it with the first two commandments: we shall love the Lord our God with all our hearts, with all our souls and with our entire minds. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it; we shall love our neighbor as ourselves. So, Your children who are called by Your name can dismantle racism, through our love and relationship, with You. In Jesus name Amen
