Christians that study the Word should understand the consequences of compromising Gods Word. Throughout Bible history every time God’s Word/Laws were compromised destruction came. The Old Testament explains how the Pharisees made perversions to God’s Laws as they added their own traditions to it. This is one reasons Jesus was so upset as He cleansed the temple courtyard. They were using the temple for everything, but what it was designed for (just as we are using the Churches of today). The Old Testament is full of events of destruction after society and the government saw fit to compromises God’s Word, for popularity or society approval. We use to allow prayer in schools, but once we removed God the devil stepped in, now there are more killings in schools than it is in prison. Maybe it’s because we allow prayer and Bible reading anytime or anywhere in prison. Everything that is happening in today’s world is already written in the Bible, you would think that our Spiritual Leaders and government would step in and at least try to define the Word of God. Are has Satan gotten that strong in our lives we can’t see how much compromising God’s Word is destroying this country and the people.
Father, forgive us for being prideful, jealous, and unforgiving people, filled with hate. Forgive for turning a blind eye to those in need, only to fill our fleshly ways. Forgive us, Lord, for not teaching Your Word from generation to generation and losing, so many of Your children. Father, everything in Your Word, has come to pass "Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous" Father, give us Your strength, wisdom, and the knowledge to implement You in everything we do. Father, we repent of our sins, please, prune our Fruit, so we will desire the thing's of the Spirit. Lord, we shout out to You, let Your eyes be open, and Your ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. In Jesus name Amen
