Timothy 1:15-17 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason, I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus, might display his immense patience as an example for those who believe in him and receive eternal life. So now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.
Let's give Spiritual gifts ๐ this year, like love, compassion, volunteering our time, forgiving someone, and the gift of self-control, that are more meaningful through Christ Jesus. That's the meaning of Christ-mas "Christ." But, we have turned it into a pagan Holiday that keeps us in debt. Instead, Christmas ๐ should be more about the Spiritual things that hold and brings families and friends together ❤. A time that we can come together in prayer, praise, and worship.Father, forgive us for not recognizing Christmas's importance and true meaning. Lord, help us force more on the things of the Spirit that is free rather than that of the world ๐ that keep us in debt. Lord, we are blessed because You have saved us thus far. So, thank You for Your grace and favor because so many were called home. Lord, 2020 has been a trying year, with crisis after crisis; please dismantle the hate, pride, envy, and jealousy that caused it. Lord, we thank You in advance for the order and calming Spirits going into 2021. Lord, God, Creator, Father, and Savior of all, we lift up in our prayers those suffering from job loss, sickness, war, oppression, and violence. Those who lost loved ones because of this pandemic. Forgive us, Lord, for being so parochial and stuck in the "them and not us" view of the world. Lord, let us be full of Your transforming love and compassion that helps us give the same mercy to all YOU give to us. Father, we know we do not deserve Your mercy, Your love, Your protection, Your provision, Your peace, but thank You for blessing us anyway, in Jesus' name Amen.
