James 2:14-17 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him.
We can't expect God to keep His promise if we don't do the work. We can't pray for protection from this virus, but keep hang with a crowd of people. We must do the work to protect ourselves, pray without ceasing, wash our hands often, wear gloves, cleaning frequently used areas with bleach, stay away from sick people, and God will do the rest.
Father, disease is spreading rapidly around the world, officially declared a pandemic. Father, we turn to You in times of uncertainty as we do in times of joy and peace. Lord, we pray for Your mercy, and love to dwell in us and show us how to face this challenge. Father, we pray for those who are infected and the families of those who have passed away. Lord, we have seen Your healing power, physical, mental, and spiritual. Be present now to people who need Your healing touch because of COVID-19. Father, let the world feel Your power of healing through the care of doctors and nurses. Lord, baptize us in the Holy Spirit, that will remove all fear, anxiety, and feelings of isolation from people who are locked in their homes, receiving treatment, or under quarantine and protecting others from exposure, in Jesus name Amen
