As believers, we can have peace and joy even in the storm, through prayer and gratitude. When we pray and give thanks to God, especially when it's hard to, we are promised to be given grace.
Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Lord, thank You, for keeping us through the night and we thank You in advance for encircling us with Your hedge of protection today. Lord, we seek Your face, so let Your thoughts be our thoughts and Your will be our will. Father, guide us as we walk with You and fill our hearts and minds with Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and peace. Father, with all that's happening in the world today, help us not lose our focus on You. Lord, You are our closest friend and our sovereign Lord, create in us a clean heart and order our steps in Your plan for us. Lord, You are not limited by time or space and You wish us to live in abundance, so we leave our worries and fears at the Altar. Lord, each day of our lives is a gift from You, so let us not be concerned with tomorrow we leave it in your hands. Lord, we are so grateful to You for keeping our families and those around us safe. Lord as we study the Word reminds us daily just how blessed we are and let us not forget to show our gratitude in prayer and good work. Thank You that You are always with us and will never leave us. Thank You for Your sacrifice, so that we could have freedom and life. Forgive us when we don't thank You enough, for who You are, for all that You do, and for all that You've given. In Jesus name Amen
