LET NOTHING INTERFERE WITH OUR CONNECTION

Exodus 20:4-5 says, "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God.

 "God is probably saying I gave them the house, job, career, status. Ect., now they don't have time for me. Maybe that's where the Scripture God giveth, and God taketh it away come in."

Father, let us put nothing before You, not our families, friends, relationships, jobs, careers, or anything else. Lord, We understand that you are a jealous God, not in sinful ways, when it is a desire for something that does not belong to You. But of what belongs to You, "all our worship, praise, honor, and adoration for only You are truly worthy. So, Holy Spirit, give us Your wisdom to know when we give too much worship, praise, honor, or adoration to idols and the knowledge to correct it. Father, help us be watchful of our time with You, so we do not dishonor You, in Jesus' name Amen.

HUMBLE OURSELVES SO GOD CAN MOVE

Ephesians 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Roman's 12:16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited

Father, humility is the main character that Children of God exhibit, so fill us with all humility. Let us walk without pride and arrogance but humbly follow You to righteousness.  Lord, let us do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than ourselves. Let each of us look not only look to the needs of our families, but also to the needs of the least of us. Lord, let us not exalt ourselves, but stay humble, and be exalted by You. Father, search our hearts and minds and remove all: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from our mouth. Lord, help us avoid people that speak evil of others and those who like to quarrel. Father, keep us gentle and kind-hearted and let us show perfect courtesy toward all people. In Jesus name Amen

IT'S ALL ABOUT LOVE

Matthew 5:43-48 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Lord, You are the source of love which makes You the perfect example of how to love others, even our enemies.   Father this dark and sinful world has skewed the meaning of love, to the point of emptiness. Lord, fill our minds with the Word and our hearts with Your love.  Lord, You have lavished such great love on us, that You receive us as Your children. Father, we have a heart of gratitude because You have given us the same inheritance and rights as Your Son, even though we are still sinners. Father, help us become a student of the Word and teach us how to live a life worthy of Your calling. Father, let us forsake everything that keeps us from following Your Son. Lord. Let Your light shine on us who loves You and fill us with Your joy as we walk in righteousness, in Jesus name Amen

JUST FELT LIKE PRAYING JOIN ME PLEASE

Thank You, Lord, for Waking us up in our right minds. Thank You, Lord, for keeping our children and our grandchildren please continue to keep Your hedge of protection around them. Thank You, that we did not wake up in war, homelessness, sickness, incarcerated, slavery, or the fire. Thank You, for our jobs, provision, mercy, and grace. Thank You, for a clear day and thank You for the rain. Thank You, for yesterday and thank You in advance for tomorrow. Thank You, for all the Spiritual Soldiers from all walks of life, coming together on one Accord.  To help Empower each other  Spiritually, physically and mentally and our communities.  Father, show our people what is good and what is required of us to make things happen for ourselves and let us not depend on man. Father, let us not be silenced about Injustice, give us Your strength, courage, wisdom, and knowledge to stand up and defeat; racism, hate, Envy, jealousy, and strife that separates us from each other and You. Father, we thank You for forgiveness and give us Your strength and love to forgive; so we do not become the obstacle that hinders our blessings. In Jesus name Amen

BE GRATEFUL

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Hebrews 12:28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

Father, we are so grateful that all our past circumstances were permitted by You to make us see the need of You in our lives. We thank You for the Fruit of self-control and working out Your good purpose in our lives. We rejoice that You are now, and will be throughout the future, our savior. We are grateful for Your Spirit of love, wisdom, and knowledge that we receive through Your Word. Lord, we can't always see Your works in our lives, but we choose to look beyond what we can see and believe Your promise, "You will never leave us and we will always have what we need". Lord, we give You our life troubles and we pray for Your peace, courage, and understanding. Lord, this life is only temporary, so we fix our eyes on the unseen things that will last forever, Your grace. We praise You for who You are and we are so grateful to be in a relationship You, in Jesus wonderful name Amen

DELIVER OUR CHILDREN

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Father, we come Honestly and humbly before You, asking You to deliver our children and our children's children according to thy Word Lord, help us guide them back to Your Path and let their eyes see the light that will order their steps. Father, have mercy on them their minds are filled with contempt; let the blood cleanse their minds and fill their hearts with Confidence that give them a sense of worthiness. Lord, we thank You that You have not given our children over as prey to an unjust and corrupt system and the darkness of this world. Father, put the same mountains of protection around our children and our grandchildren You put around Jerusalem. So the rod of the wicked cannot rest upon them and give them direction as they make more and more decision. In Jesus name Amen     

     
      

TEACH OUR CHILDREN AND OUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Matt. 29:13-15 Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” And he laid his hands on them.

When was the last time you Prayed or had a conversation about Jesus with your children or your children's children? Our responsibility as Christian parents and grandparents is to teach the next generation about Christ. This is why we have lost a generation of children because we dropped the ball in passing the Word of wisdom and knowledge to our children. Children today have no fear of their parents or knowledge of God. Most of them have no guidance no protection and we're losing them at an alarming rate. Talk to our children put some God in their lives, let the Word save them too

Father, we come to You on behalf of our children and our children's children; first asking for forgiveness for not teaching them as we should the way to go so they would have not strayed so far away from You. Lord, give us Your wisdom and knowledge of how to save our children.  Save them, Lord, like You Saved us. Give them eyes that see Your path for their lives, give them ears that hear our guidance to You. Father, we pray for all the children that have been sold into Sex slavery and those that were butchered for their organs. Please give them Your peace and Persecute all who are responsible. Bless the children around the world that had to grow up as soldiers instead of children, let them not lose their compassion for people. Bless the homeless and starving children right here in America, put a hedge of protection around them and help us give them comfort and shelter. Lord, you said children are our future help us take better care of our future and let us not provoke them or make them discouraged. But let us fill them with hope and love by teaching them Your Word. In Jesus name Amen

IF WE LOVE HIM ENOUGH WE WILL CHANGE

1 Corinthians 5 speaks of our sinful Behavior and how we tolerate behavior that goes against God's will.  (Do we actually think we can live as we choose and still receive His promise) We speak of the New Covenant,  but we keep overlooking the scriptures that take us out of our comfort zones.  Jesus did not come to abolish the Laws He came to change our sinful Spirits so we will obey the Law.  Jesus can transform anyone who loves Him enough to change. In order to develop this kinda love, it is essential that we study the Word daily, meditate on what we have read and pray we receive it.

Father, it isn't our responsibility to judge outsiders  You will judge those inside and outside the Church who are sinners. So help us repent and baptize us in the Holy Spirit that helps us obey Your instructions, so we don't dishonor You with our lifestyles and bad behavior.  Lord, when we know better we do better, those that receive the Truth, practice what we have learned, and have a relationship with You.  Father, help us get rid of our old yeast, so it does not spoil the whole Church.  Father, forgive us for tolerating the sins that go against Your will.   Lord, help us understand that "the law is still the law and sin is still sin" and our love for You is what helps us turn away from our sinful nature, to walk in righteousness.   Father, to have a strong relationship with You, it is essential that we study Your Word daily, pray without ceasing and give You all praise, honor, and glory, in Jesus name Amen

THANK YOU LORD

Father I just felt the need to say hallelujah and thank You for being my Savior. Thank You for the book, thank You for the job, the clients, the provisions and the hedge of protection around me. Thank You and forgive me for falling short of Your mercy grace and favor. Thank You, for letting my pain and adversities turn me into a warrior, in Jesus name Amen

Psalms 95:2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 3 For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.  

NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD

Alzheimer's took all her memories away, except for her memory of God. She did not remember who I was, but she knew I could find her Bible. She did not remember the names of the food she ate, but she remembered to pray over it. She could not remember what day it was, but she could remember she had to go to Church. She could not remember the things of the world, but she remembered the things of the Spirit Alzheimer took every memory my Mother had of this world, but her memory of God stayed with her

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

DOUBLE MINDED PEOPLE

James 1:7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all

Double-minded people cannot make up their minds about anything, even their faith. The slightest change that comes into a double-minded person's life, changes their whole demeanor even with their children. Double-minded people are not good with Commitment, they tend to cheat in most of their relationshipd
"James uses double minded to describe someone who is divided in his/her interests or loyalties, wavering, uncertain, two-faced, half-hearted." 

Father, let us not be double-minded people who are full of fear and doubt.  Lord, steer us away from double minded Spirits, (backbiters) so we do not get caught up in their confusion. Lord, strengthen our faith to keep us from wavering when the storm creates uncertainty in our lives. Lord, help us with our unbelief so we will have the confidence to stand on Your Word in times of adversity. Thank You, Lord, for taking up residence in our hearts and cleansing our thoughts, that helps us see this dark world through Your eyes. Father, thank You, for the little things we use to take for granted, like life, health and waking up in a right mind. Thank You, Lord we did not wake up in a war-torn Country, please bless those who did. Thank You we did not wake up hungry, please help us fill the stomachs of those that did. Thank You, we did not have to sleep outside, help us houses those who did. Lord, let us not be divided in our loyalty, trust and faith and let us not be half-hearted or backbiters.   Thank You, Lord, for all the blessings we have received and all those to come Spiritual and physical, in Jesus name Amen

UNITY PRAYERS ARE STRONGER

Lord, teach everyone that follow You how to read to show ourselves approved, so we will be followers of the truth and not what sounds good.  Father, You said in (James 1:12 “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial. Because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised.”) Father, give us the strength and courage to stand on Your Word and pass any test this life brings our way. Lord, sometimes our sins of fear and doubt and our choices delay our blessing, so order our steps in Your will to prevent this from happening.  Father remove the obstacles that keep us from sitting at Your feet or hindering our growth.  Lord give us Christ-like character so we will practice and obey Your Word so we will receive Your promise of eternal life.  Lord, help us not look over our Spiritual blessing by expecting Material Or Financial blessing Father, Thank You for considering us for the blessing of waking up in our right minds, a roof over our heads, and food to eat and please bless those that are less  fortunate. Thank You, for the physical means to survive and the Spiritual wisdom and knowledge to get through our day to day struggles.  Thank You, for forgiveness and Your strength and courage to forgive those that wronged us. Thank You, Lord, for favour in Jesus name, Amen 

BE WATCHFUL

Not only is the devil an accuser he's a user of all no matter the color of our skin, what religion we follow or practice, or what status we hold in society.  He accuse and use all but the devil does have limitations with those who are in a relationship with Christ

 1 Peter 5:8 says, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

 Father, we know, Satan has evil forces at work for him, but he is limited in what he can do and where he can be.  Lord, thank You for covering us in the blood, by being obedient to the Father to save our lives. Thank You, for the shield of faith, that keeps the fiery arrows of the enemy from us. Lord. We understand that the Devil rules the earth, but You rule the Kingdom of man. Father. You bring counsel to the people of all nations and frustrate the plans of the evil ones plotted against us. Father, we ask You to remove every generation Curse of our ancestors, every demonic Spirit, the seen and unseen. Father. Help us stay in the Word daily, to keep us alert, sober-minded, and watchful of the enemy that prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Thank You, Lord, for a new day, a new blessing of life, health, and strength. Walk with us through this day, order our steps so we do not walk ahead of You and out protection, in Jesus name Amen

FATHER GIVE US GUIDANCE

We need a guide that knows us, understands us and has our best interest at heart. A guide that is aware of our temperament, personality, gifts, likes, dislikes, and our abilities.  We need a guide that takes all this into consideration, we need God guidance.

Lord, we're here today with an open heart and mind, depending on You to guide us through whatever life brings our way.  Father, help us be like Your Son and help us come to You for guidance, strength, provision, and protection. As we face tough choices and hard situations, help us remember that we are Your children and Your representative to the world around us. Help us live today in a way that brings honor to Your holy name.  Lord, guide us to the path and plan You have for our lives, In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

FASTING IS ESSENTIALLY FOR OUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Lent is the period of 40 days which comes before Easter in the Christian calendar. Beginning on Ash Wednesday, Lent is a season of reflection and preparation before the celebrations of Easter. By observing the 40 days of Lent, Christians replicate Jesus Christ's sacrifice and withdrawal into the desert for 40 days

This is also a great time for us to fast "March 6, 2019, through April 18th, 2019" it's not too late to try fasting from something that Separates us from God. When we fast for a God-centered purpose, it will help us discipline our lives. It is important to understand fasting is for our benefits, not God's.  So don't think because we put ourselves through self-inflicted suffering that God owes us something.

 Father, give us the strength to fast from the things that separate us from You. Lord teach us how to fast for our spouse, for the salvation of our child, for forgiveness, for our relationship with You and others. Lord, You went without food and water for forty days and night, help us fast so we too can strengthen our faith and prayer lives. Father, we understand that fasting is essential to focus our thoughts on You and self-discipline, in Jesus name Amen   

FAITH WILL HELP US PASS THE TEST

James 1:2-3 when we meet trials of various kinds for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

When our faith is being tested, we must remain loyal under all circumstances to our belief, and stand on God's Word. Anyone can endure the good times, it's the hard times that show God where we really are in our faith. JOB lost everything he had, but he knew God was in control; so he remains loyal to his faith and God kept His promise. God replaced double what Job lost, and He will do the same for you

Father, help us count it all joy when we meet trials of various kinds because the Word tells us that the testing of our faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that we may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. So, let us not waver when trials come upon us; but let us rejoice as we share in Christ suffering, as we will share in eternity. Lord, when we suffer in Your name let us not be ashamed, but continue to bring honor and glory to Your name. Father, when we lack wisdom we should ask You, who gives generously to all who ask. Lord, we thank You for forgiveness and the wisdom and knowledge to forgive others. Thank You, for giving us a humble Spirit and taming our tongues. Thank You, for patients and courage to stand on Your Word, in Jesus name Amen
