PRAY FOR OUR MEN

A  black man is born with two strikes against them (male and black). Their life expectancy is short; multiple socioeconomic status factors and access to health care have combined to erode Black men's health. A black man's chances of freedom are slim and none because of systematic racism and slavery. Racism is a problem we can't ignore or run away from. It's an issue today, and it was an issue throughout history. (Romans 10:12) Rather than telling Christians to ignore the discrimination against Gentiles, Paul addressed it head-on: "There is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him," and the same statement remains true today

Father, You are not about separation but inclusion and unity. Jesus made it possible for anyone to be included in the people and His promises. So, help us treat each other fair, and just because we're all created in Your image and You, make no distinction between the inherent value of one race or ethnicity over another. Lord, we want to be Your servants, whom You uphold as, Your chosen ones whom You delight and filled with Your Spirit. Father, bring justice for Your people, especially our black men and the nations. Lord, we cry out for this nation that has removed You and lost our way. Lord, we now have open racism, hate, children being taken from their parents, and injustice happening in our faces as our Spiritual and Political Leaders remain silent. Father, in faithfulness, bring forth justice for those falsely accused and those whose lives were taken. Lord, thank You for Your peace that comes with Your promise, that gives us hope. Father, keep Your hedge of protection around us and walk with our men, through this Valley of death, in Jesus' name Amen.

WE ARE SAVED THROUGH OUR FAITH

Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Lord, we own up to sins, so help us  and tell it forthrightly to all who should hear. Have mercy on us, Lord, according to Your steadfast love; according to Your abundant mercy blot out our transgressions and strengthen our faith. Search us thoroughly, forgive our iniquity, and cleanse us from our sins! For You, know our weakness, please give us Your strength, when needed to keep us focused on You.  Thank You, for reaching down in the pit of darkness and leading us to Your light, give us the tools, to serve Your purpose. Lord, right now, let us be justified in Your, grace and blameless in Your judgment. Right now, we submit ourselves to You. Lord, let the Holy Spirit empower us, so we can resist the devil, and make him flee from us. Father, dwell in our hearts and draw us near to You, as Your Word purifies our hearts, to give You room to move in our lives. Lord, we humble ourselves before You, thanking You, for all the good You have brought in our lives. Thank You, for Your blessings and allowing us to be a blessing, to others.  In Jesus name Amen

DARKNESS CAN NEVER OVERCOME LIGHT

John 8:12 Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the Light of life."

We do not panic when it gets dark because we are covered with the Blood. When life situations get dark, we panic, but we should give our sins or problems to God. He will provide us with eyes that see our sins and the danger ahead of us and ears that hear His voice. Which gives us instructions so we will not stumble and fall. Don't panic when it gets dark, kneel and let the Light shine through the darkness. Let God refresh our Souls and Spirits, so He can have room to move in our lives.

Father, You said, "whoever follows You will not walk in darkness, so let Your light manifest in our lives. Open our hearts and fill us with the Holy Spirit, so we may turn from darkness to Light and from the power of Satan to You. Thank You for forgiveness and for giving us a place among the Satans. Thank You that we're no longer spiritually blind people who live in darkness. Lord, let Your love and grace fix all our broken and damaged places in our hearts and reflect You, in everything we do, in Jesus' name Amen.
