LET OUR LIGHT SHINE IN 2018

As I sit here and reflect on all the blessings God has given me and think about the person I have become, I cannot do anything but praise Him.  Praise Him for saving and keeping me and the protection and blessings of my children's children.  When I think about where I have come from, it makes me cry tears of joy; I have finally found peace and understanding.  The Peace that comes from the Father, and no man can take it away.  So Lord, as we approach a New Year, we just want to thank You for all You've done for us, even though we did not deserve it.  I am so grateful to belong to You; my New Year's resolution is to become more like You and abandon everything that is not Yours.

Father, our goal is to be a better person in 2018 than we were in 2017; we want to surrender our lives to You; please use us to lift up Your Kingdom and others.  Lord, our goals are to have our names written in the Book of life, Your heavenly Book in which the name of the righteous is written.  Father, our prayers are for all people to unite in unity, love, and peace and stop putting ourselves in physical slavery due to not knowing You.  We pray that each one of us will take heave to Your calling, which was made possible by the sacrifice of Your Son on Calvary.  Lord, we decree and declare that all believers will stand up for what is right and good; and do what is necessary to achieve our Spiritual goals.  Father, thank You for creativity and, above all, for creating us in Your image, in Jesus' name, Amen.

SUPPORTING EACH OTHER

We must support each other, not just our household, but everyone in need of support. Supporting each other could mean giving others food, shelter, clothing, conversation, or an ear to listen; it's not always about money, but if it is and you have, give. I remember growing up without a babysitter because our neighbor Miss Maggie watched us while my mother worked, and she only came over if she did not see or hear us. I remember when the oldest child kept everyone else in order until our parents came home. We supported each other and looked out for each other; 'none of that "it's not my problem" because if we do not support each other, what's not our problem today might become our problem tomorrow. Colossians 3:16 Let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and remember "Luke 12:48 whom much is given, much is required.

Father, give us a kind and gentle heart; so we may support each other and Your Kingdom.   Lord, we all have demons we struggle with, and things sometimes overwhelm us. Lord, teach us that these are the times we should Trust You and support each other. Lord, we are the blessing a person needs; let us help those that are grieving, those that are sick, and those that need guidance. Father, give us Your love for all people and wisdom and the knowledge of how to serve others in their need. Thank You for sending Your Son who died to give us life; thank You that we share in Christ's resurrection because He now dwells in us. Father, fill us with the Holy Spirit and let Your Son Spirit bind and loose us, so we can be more Christ-like. In Jesus' name. Amen

WORKING TOGETHER

Just as our bodies are made up of many parts: torsal, legs, fingers, toes, etc., they all work together for the good of one body. It works the same way in the Spirit: we are individuals, made of one Spirit through Christ. None of us are made for walking alone, we must have unity of believing, unity of the Holy Spirit, and unity of faith to work together. We were created to work together for the building of God's Kingdom and each other. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-Jews, Greek, enslaved person or free and all were made to drink of one Spirit. The body consists of one member but many parts that work together to function. God tells us we need each other to build on each other. Hebrews 10:24-25 and let us consider how to stir each other to love and do good work, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all the more as we see the day draw near. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 two are better than one because they have a good return on their work. If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; but how can one keep warm alone. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.

Father, teach us how to work together on one accord; show us, Lord, how to build each other up with our communities and Your Kingdom. Lord, give us creative ideas to share with all involved that work together for the greater good of the people. Lord, it is time for Your people to come together and heal, understand and get it together. Father, help us start a new foundation with renewed hearts and minds; as we come together in unity for the sake of all people. Father, abide in us and we in You, so we may bear fruit of compassion and love for all men and women. Lord, we cannot come together in the flesh, but we can come together in the Spirit. So, knit Your people together, let us be the light that leads the lost to You and the voice that brings order to Your world. Father, let us love earnestly to have complete joy agreeing to have the same love. Lord, let us always keep You amid everything, so we will have guidance and protection. Lord, we are branches; please keep us connected to the Vine in unity and love, in Jesus' name. Amen

WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER

Our relationship with Christ is to be shared and enjoyed with our families and friends. The fruit of our labor, and recommit ourselves to a better life for our children and communities. Through unity, self-determination, collective responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith, this is what we should be teaching ourselves and our children.

Father, teach us how to be collectively responsible for each other.   Father, help us with our Cooperative Economics, teach us the operating principles to meet our needs by empowering ourselves. Father, let us combine and utilize each other's creativity, skills, and talent. To build our neighborhoods and communities by supporting ourselves and circulating funds at home. Lord, give our Leaders the faith and courage of Daniel, so they will stand on Your Word without wavering. Lord, take control of our lives and order our steps in Your will as we mature in Spirit. As we go through this week, Father helps us understand that we are better together. Lord, let our actions prove worthy of Your calling, with all humility, gentleness, and patience. Father, give us a better understanding of each other and teach us how to show the same mercy, You so gracefully give to us. Thank You for the opportunity of repentance. Lord, help us be diligent with preserving our Spirits in peace. Father, help us understand that we are one, with one God, so we should not be separated and divided by color or religion.   Lord, walk with us through our day-to-day struggles and help us practice what we have learned. Lord, strengthen our self-determination and remove all self-worth; so we can work in unity, peace, love, and please You, in Jesus' name, Amen

THE BIRTH OF JESUS

Matthew 1:18-25 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about:  His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.  Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.  But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to make Mary your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.  She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins.”  All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel” God with us.  When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.  But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son, and he gave Him the name Jesus.

Father, thank You for sending Your only Son to save us, Your unworthy servants.  Lord, please help us become the people You created us to be, and the people Your Son gave His life to save.  Father, give us a strong desire for Your Word and open our hearts and minds to receive it.  Lord, help us to bear Fruit so we may become more Christ-like; by developing His character because we cannot do this without Him.  Father, give us Your love, so we may live in peace and be able to forgive each other; as You love and forgive us.  Lord, give us Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement it in our lives with; self-control and child-like faith; so we may walk with You in truth, as Your servants.  Father, help us become worthy of  Your Son’s sacrifice, and give us Your kindness for the least of us.  Lord, help us teach our children and our children's children Your Word; so they will not stray far from You, and keep them in Your will.  Father, keep us from becoming religious fanatics; but inward changed men and women, who will worship and praise You for who You are, and give us Your strength so we may obey Your Word.  We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

THE PRINCE OF PEACE

Isaiah 9:6 for to us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders.  And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
Galatians 2:20 we have been crucified with Christ.  It is no longer we who lives, but Christ who lives in us.  And the life we now live in the flesh we live in the Son of God, who loves us and gave Himself to save us.

Father, let our actions speak Louder than our words; to show it is no longer we who lives, but You who lives in us.  Lord, let Your light shine through us for others to see; and let them draw near to You.  Father, let us be a living testimony of Your love and grace, in Jesus name, Amen

BOAST ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

God is who He says He is, and He will do, what He said He will do; we are His witnesses.  If we are submissive to God’s will, He will bless us; He will restore our years and give us wisdom and knowledge.  Everything we are is because of Him.  (Jeremiah 9:23-24) Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or a strong man his strength; do not boast about riches, if we want to boast, boast about how we understand and know God. God created us yet He welcomes us into a relationship with Him; but, He wants it to be our choice.  What we have or who we are means nothing, without God.  Everything about our lives is God, and when we come to terms with that, we become better people.  Let's give God some praise

Thank You, Lord for our past, and guidance in our new life.  Thank You, Father, for all the Spiritual Soldiers You have surrounded us with; and the wisdom and knowledge of Your Word.  Thank You, Lord, for no addiction, no sickness; thank You for shelter, food, and employment.  Thank You, Lord for watching over our children, and our children’s children; and please remove all generation curses from them. Father, let us be the husband and wives Your Word instructs us to be, and raise our children in Your way, so they will not stray far from You.  Lord, continue to bless our children, from the top of their heads to the Souls of their feet; and draw them near to You.  Father, let the blind see Your light, as You have shown to us; and order their steps in Your will.  Lord, forgive us for falling short of Your mercy and grace; and we ask for Your strength to forgive other.  Lord, give us the courage to speak Your Word in TRUTH, and whatever we hear or study we only receive what’s good.  In Jesus, name Amen

STOP WHERE YOU ARE AND, GIVE GOD SOME PRAISE

If God has been good to you, give God some praise.
If you were in a situation and God brought you out, give God some praise
If God brought you out of a dark place, give God some praise
If you received the job you prayed for, give God some praise
If you were healed through His grace, give God some praise
If God has given you a second chance, give God some praise
If you have a spiritual understanding, through the power of His Word, give God some praise
If your children have been saved from the streets, give God some praise
If you'll have peace, provisions, good health, restored health, and a roof over your head, give God some praise
If you are reading this, that means He woke you up this morning in your right mind; give God some praise

Lord, we praise You for our physical and emotional relationship with You; Father, we praise You for the protection You have given us, so Lord, we ask for guidance and order our steps in Your will.  Lord, no one is perfect; except for Your Son,  so help us be submissive to Your Word.  Father, we praise You for all the blessings; that we have received, and help us understand" too much is given; much is required" Father, let us be kind and gentle; to those less fortunate because as we do unto the least of us, we do unto You.   Lord, we praise You for understanding; and the courage to stand on Your Word; we ask for Your love and Christ-like faith.  We honor, You, Lord, because You saved us from our pits of darkness, washed us clean, and now we are new; Lord, help us demonstrate this through our actions, and forgive us when we fall short of Your grace.   Father, help us not count others' mistakes because You do not measure our mistakes, so help us forgive others.  Teach us to pray without ceasing, as our ancestors did, and strengthen our faith.  Father, we praise You, no matter the religion or book we read; help us hold on to what's good, so we ask for Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement Your understanding in our daily lives.   Lord, we praise You for who you are and what You have done for us; teach us what to do for You and others.  Please, keep Your hedge of protection around our children and children's children; help us teach them Your Word, and help us raise them in Your way.  Lord, we praise You for your perseverance to weather the storms and thank You for another day to serve Your purpose.  Father, we praise You because You are worthy of being honored in Jesus'' name, Amen.

JESUS KNOWS WHAT WE NEED

Jesus knows us intimately because He became like us in every way but sin.  Jesus came to us a servant, not the God that He is; only to teach us how to treat each other and live in peace.  This was His way of showing us the extent of His love.  But the world is in so much turmoil right now; from wars, terrorism, not to mention our children are killing and being killed at an alarming rate.  More and more people are losing their jobs and shelter, homelessness and famine are out of control; in a time where we have the technology to grow food faster and so many homes that vacant.  We need Jesus more than ever if we cannot see the need of God wisdom and knowledge then we are all blind.  But, instead we are removing Him from every part of our lives; well enough is enough, we must put God back in our schools, jobs, and our lives.  Everything is about money, no one cares about people anymore, or family values and our children are out of control because the government is interfering with the way they are raised.

Martin Luther King, Jr, couldn’t have said it better; we must learn to live together as brothers and sisters or perish as fools.

Father, keep us alert in prayer, as we await the arrival of Christ Your Son, so that, when He comes and knocks, He may find us watchful in prayer and exultant in His praise.  Father, forgive us for falling short and removing You from our lives and our children’s lives; please restore us to You, and keep us in Your will.  Lord, You formed our government and You are still in control; please touch their hearts, and give them Your love for all people.  Lord, remove all that keeps us from sitting at Your feet or hindering our blessing.  Father, let those that know Your Word, be submissive to You. Lord, bless those that are being sold as slaves over in Lybia, and persecute those who are responsible.  Father, we ask for a special blessing for those who dedicate their time and finances to help others.  Lord, have mercy on those that are homeless, sick and those that have lost their way, in Jesus name, Amen

VENGEANCE IS MINE

Forgiveness is not excepting the wrong that others do or did to us. Forgiveness is choosing not to respond to sin with sin but allowing God to respond in the Spirit. When we forgive, we resist the devil and do not seek revenge; we trust God to serve justice in His will. And although we do not see His work right away, He will keep His promise. Romans 12:19-21 do not take revenge my friends, but leave room for God's wrath for it is written: Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord. Now, on the other hand, "if our enemy is hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing so, we will heap burning coals on their heads. We cannot be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. This we cannot do in the flesh; we must rely on God's strength in the Spirit.

Father, help us forgive those who wronged us; and let us not seek revenge, but allow Your will to be done. Father, give us Your love, wisdom, and knowledge; so we can overlook the things done to us in the flesh and fight evil with good. Father, let us have the courage to stand on Your Word, even when we do not understand or see Your works.    Lord, teach us how to show mercy, even to those who do not deserve it, just as You have shown compassion and grace to us when we have wronged You and others. Lord, keep a hedge of protection around us and continue ordering our steps in Your will. in Jesus' name amen

SELF-CONTROL

To get through the narrow Gate, we need to shed a few pounds and lose habitual greed for material gain.   We also have to lose envy, lust, pride, and prejudice. The diet we use is self-control; now, to use this diet, we have to read the instruction (the Word) and follow it daily; because self-denial is hard to do in the flesh, so we will need the Authors strength and guidance to stay on the right path. Self-control is the only thing that will keep us thin enough to get through the Narrow Gate.

Father, give us the Fruit of self-control so we may stand on Your Word. Lord, self-denial is hard for us without Your strength, so give us Your strength, as we eat from Your bread daily, that nourish our faith.   Father, the more we eat Your bread, the closer we come to You and the stronger our self-denial becomes. Father, thank You for equipping us for works of service that will help build up Your Kingdom and others. Lord, continue ordering our steps until we all reach unity in the faith and knowledge of Your Son and become mature followers, in Jesus' name Amen.

CHRIST-LIKE CHARACTER

"Matthew 25:35-40 tells us why we should help the least of us “for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat.  I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in, naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and you came to unto me.  Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You and hungry, feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink. When did we see You as a stranger, and took You in, or naked needing clothes, and we clothe You?  When did we see You sick and in prison and came to visit You?”
Then God will say, “ I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of my children, you did for Me.  Christmas, Easter, our lives are about Christ, and we show this by our action toward Him and His children.

Father,  help us develop Christ-like character; so we can become the children, Your Word raised us to be.  Lord, open our eyes so we can see and our ears so we can hear; and mature into the believers our great-great-grandparents were, so we can live in unity.  Father, help us develop kindness, gentleness, and understanding of others' needs; and what we can do as believers to help, make their lives more comfortable.  Father, help us not raise our children materialistic; but spiritually connected to Your Word.  Lord, teach those that say they love You; that You do not know them if they harbor hate in their hearts, so they will depart from You.  Father, we thank You for grace, forgiveness, wisdom, and knowledge; we ask that You strengthen our faith and help us with our unbeliefs. In Jesus name Amen

KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORD

Mental knowledge is excellent to have, but by itself, it can only produce pride. Moral wisdom and understanding help us with our principles of right and wrong behavior, but we need the knowledge of the Spirit; to make them all work together, and we can only accomplish this through the wisdom and knowledge of Christ. Our education helps us with our mental understanding, and we are taught how to behave, but only the wisdom and knowledge of the Word can touch our hearts.

Father, the knowledge of Your Word is the key to our Salvation. Lord, You have shown us the things which will shortly take place; yet we still do not repent and turn away from our sins. Father, we have to experience the power of Your Word; but we do not give our testimony in fear of worldly rejection. Although, Lord, You said, blessed is those who study and receive Your Word, Father, we receive, please give us Your strength and courage to keep and act on what is written, for the time is near.   Lord, let  Your will manifest in us so we can become the people You created us to be. Father, You have been faithful and true to Your promise, even though we are still sinners. Jesus, we praise You because You love us and have freed us from our sins by the blood on Calvery. Lord, thank You for forgiveness and help us to forgive others. Father, we thank You for life, health, peace, mercy, grace, and favor. Lord, thank You for the Holy Spirit that orders our steps in Your Word and gives us self-control that will help us get through, in Jesus' name,  Amen.

THE TRUTH

The greatest truth that a person can possess with the mind or learn through experience is the truth of God’s Word

Father, continue to bless us with Your wisdom and knowledge; help us surrender to Your will, in Jesus name, Amen

DO NOT JUDGE

Romans 2:1-4  Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another, you condemn yourself because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is leading us toward repentance?

Lord, thank You for directions when the day-to-day problems and disappointments of life weaken our faith. Thank You for protecting our families, friends, and enemies and giving us Your strength to forgive. Lord,  we all fall short of obeying You, so let us not judge each other but focus on our sins and repentance.  So, Father, right now, we're praying for ourselves; help us not be judgemental of others; let us pray for people more than we talk about them. Father, help us understand that You are love, and everything that knows You is about love; help our Political and Spiritual Leaders be more about You Lord than the world, and give them Your passion for the people.  Help us implement the wisdom we receive "from Your Words in our lives and help us share our knowledge of You with others. Lord, continues to bless us with love, peace, and joy, and let us not grow weary of doing good. Father, we know the devil, and others are watching how we live our lives. So help us live a Christian life that will be contagious to others. Lord, let us touch someone who has lost hope today and lead them back to You.  Father, fill us with the Holy Spirit and nourish our fruit with the Word; so we will become more like Christ and less of the world.  In Jesus mighty name, Amen

Mary, Did You Know with Lyrics THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS

OUR ACTION AFFECT OTHERS

Leviticus 19:15-16 “Do not twist justice in legal matters by favoring the poor or being partial to the rich and powerful. Always judge people fairly. “Do not spread slanderous gossip among your people. “Do not stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is threatened. I am the LORD.

TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME

Tomorrow for so many will never come; will we be part of that number, one never knows;  The day, the hour, the minute, or the second; our bodies will be no more.  So while we house the Spirit of the Lord, we should help prepare our Souls; by the principle of our thoughts and actions, as instructed in His Word.  We must forgive those that have wronged us, or God will not forgive us; how do we expect to receive something we cannot give.  Now, I know that could be hard to do; if we attempt it on our own, it becomes accessible through the love we have for God.  So, if you have a grudge against anyone, especially a family member, forgive them, as our Father forgave us.  Life is too short to hold anger or grudges against anyone; for any reason, release your Soul, forgive.

Father, thank You for pardoning sin and forgiving our transgression; repeatedly, Lord, teach us Your truth of Your Word.  Lord, we are so sorry for our ancestor's sins; please release us from our generational curses, and restore us to You.  Father, let You be our will; we may follow Your teachings and approved pattern of behavior and give you the proper form of worship and praise.  Father, give us Your wisdom and strength to forgive those that wronged us, just as You have forgiven us.  Lord, only You know the day, the hour, or the minute, so please prepare us for Your coming.  Lord, remove anything that will keep us from sitting at Your feet; or hinder our blessings from You, in Jesus' name, Amen.

TAKE THE SPIRIT AWAY THE BODY WILL DIE

Our bodies are the vessels where the Spirit lives; take away the Spirit, and the body dies (1 Corinthian 6: 19-20 do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? We are not our own, for we were bought with a price. So glorify God in our bodies.). We all have Souls, and how we nourish our Souls direct our paths in life. If we live in the world, we feed the flesh; but when we desire things of the Spirit, we develop Christ-like character. If we do not nourish our bodies with food and water, the body will die, and if we do not feed our Spirits with the Word, our Souls will not mature and die. We can live without a body, but a body cannot live without a Soul. So we should pay more attention to our souls and less attention to all the things that will pass away.

Father, we have been crucified with Christ, so it's no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us. Lord, help us live more in the Spirit than we do in the flesh. Give us ears that hear and receive Your Truth. So, the transforming power of Your Spirit will manifest in our lives and replace our worldly desires with things of the Spirit so we may develop fruit. Lord, we ask for guidance, protection, and kindness; through our daily walk as we pray, praise, and worship Your name to others. Thank You, Lord, for dying for us; that we may be forgiven of our sins; and restored to the Father; so help us repent and turn away from our sin. Father, we cannot take this walk alone, so surround us with Spiritual Soldiers and like-minded people that will walk with us through this journey. Lifting each other up in Spirit, prayer, and love, practicing Your teachings daily. So, continue working in and through us to help us become disciples. In Jesus' name, Amen.

COME TO JESUS

We talk about God, we write about God, but what God wants to know is, “Is there one wise person among us.”  God is accurate and faithful, and He is coming soon, and for those who know the Word feel they have up to that time to repent and become saved, “do we know that moment.” And how do we know we will pass the test; how do we know that God has not turned us over to a reprobate mind. The time is now; let’s pray for Salvation NOW.

Father, we acknowledge that Christ is Lord; He came to earth as a man to live the sinless life that we cannot live; He died in our place so that we would not have to pay for our sins. Lord, we confess our past life of sin and living for ourselves, not obeying You, Lord.  Lord, we admit we are still sinners but are ready to trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.  Father, we ask Jesus to come into our hearts, take our will, and begin living through us.

THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT

In the Garden of Eden, God's instruction was "do not eat the forbidden fruit." But Eva convinced Adam to eat the fruit; now they realize they're naked, so they are ashamed. They take fig leaves from a tree and cover themselves. Then God called out to Adam, but Adam hid. After all, now he's afraid because he knows he's naked. God asked Adam, who told him he was naked; have you eaten from the tree of knowledge, now man will be born into sin. So God cursed them and the snake that delivered the message. By making the snake crawl on his belly and eating dust all the days of his life, the woman will have excruciating pain during childbirth, and her desire will be for her husband, and he will rule over her. We are born of a woman with sinful desires; but, God sent His son to save us; but, it is our choice. God won't make us choose because controlling our will did not work in the Garden of Eden, and it does not work now. So, if we want to be saved, we must choose Him, and by choosing Him, we choose Salvation. Once we choose Him, we are no longer walking in the flesh; we are born again through the Spirit. And to mature into a true believers, we must; pray, fellowship, praise, worship, and study His Word to gain wisdom and the knowledge to implement His instruction into our daily lives.

Father, thank You for deliverance from the power of sin; thank You for mercy, grace, favor, and Your protective hands around us, Lord, forgive us of our sins and falling short of Your glory.   Lord, fill us with the Holy Spirit to help us obey Your Word; and walk in Your will, not the flesh.   Lord, give us Your strength and love to forgive those that trespass against us  Father, tame our tongues, and lets us not cause pain; Lord, let our words be uplifting to Your kingdom and others  Lord, give us grateful hearts, as we praise and worship You daily; for all, You have done for us, and continue to do  Father, do not let temptations' entice us into sin; give us Your courage to stand on Your Word, when Satan plays upon our weakness  Lord, strengthen our faith, and help us with our unbeliefs; so we can develop peace, joy, and kindness; as we become more like Christ  Lord, continue blessings our children; from the top of their heads to the sole of their feet, and keep us covered in the Blood  Father, we thank You for another day; give us guidance and order our steps in Your will,

LEADERS THAT ARE STEWARDS FOR GOD

We the people need Leaders who see the bigger picture; who possess an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit; to get this country back on track, we need Leaders that are Stewards for God. Being a Steward is a necessary part of believing in God; a Steward for God will run this Country, manage God's work through politics, following God's Word, even if it means sacrificing their personal rewards. We can spot a Steward for God, by their discipline, they are disciplined for discipline sake; this is how we guide people to become believers with our actions. A Steward for God will use that same discipline to save our Country; a Steward for God will do what's right in God's sight, which means justice for all. 1 Corinthians 9:19 for though I am free from all man, I have made myself a servant unto all, to save as many as possible.

Father, give us a Steward for You, as a Leader, who will manage our Countries, Churches, schools, jobs, and lives through Your Word. Lord, help us become better stewards of our own lives, especially our finances and households and replace our fleshly desires with the thing of the Spirit. Father, let us find favor in Your sight and become Your personal servants, as we put You in charge of our lives and all that is Yours. Lord, do not let the exciting appearance of temptation; catch us in its snares, keep a hedge of protection around us, and keep us in Your will. Father, give us Your courage to stand on Your Word, even if we must sacrifice our desires, to serve Your purpose. Lord, we are so grateful that you woke us up this morning, in our right mind, because we did not have to be here, so we give You the praise.   Father, thank You for forgiveness, and give us a forgiving heart; we thank You for health, and we decree and declare every disease made by man, we are immune from it, in Jesus' name. Lord, cover our children and children's children;  we thank You for providing because there are so many homeless people. Father, give us Your love and kindness; so we may help the least of us, and by doing so, we do for You.  Father, let us have a genuine love for Your Word, so we will develop Fruit and become a Steward for You, in Jesus' name, Amen.

GRACE IS THE TREE OUR FRUIT HANG ON

God loves us, and He shows us daily through grace, favor, and mercy,  which He gives us without regard to our worthiness or merits.  God’s grace and our faith provide us with the nutrition to grow Fruit. When we study the Word daily, “Galatians 5:22-23 the Fruit of the Spirit”; and the most essential Fruit is LOVE because God is the definition of LOVE.  When we love God, it gives us joy, peace, and the power to obey Him, while the Word cleanses us with the Blood and restores us to the Father. Love is the root of grace; once we learn how to love God, we will be able to love ourselves and others, even our enemies.   When we study His Word with faith and patience, He will give us wisdom and knowledge of how to live in oneness with the Holy Spirit and each other.  As we desire the things of the Spirit, we develop goodness and kindness, which motivates us to help others.   God wants us to be gentle and loving to each other as He is to us, and once we are submissive to Him, the Spirit will take control and enable us to do; the things we could not do with our own strength. Love is the key attribute of God, and His plan for us starts with loving Him, so we become more like His Son: merciful, gracious, longsuffering, and faithful to His Word.

Lord, we thank You for grace; even though we do not deserve it, You are still kind to us; and only seek the best for us.  Father, let Your grace be sufficient for us, so our weakness is made strong through Your power.  Lord, we know we are not without sin, so help us be submissive to Your Word and develop our self-control.  Father, give us the wisdom of Your Word; so we will become conscious of our sin and help us repent and turn away from transgression.  Lord, help us develop Fruit; and fill our hearts with Your love so that we will serve Your purpose.  Father, continue to guide and order our steps in Your will; and keep Your hedge of protection around our children, families, and friends.  Lord, strengthen our faith and help us with our unbeliefs; forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, our desire is to be like Your Son Jesus.  Amen

PRAYER FOR THINGS OF THE SPIRIT

WHEN WE PRAY FOR
LOVE
PEACE
JOY
SELF-CONTROL
FAITHFULNESS
GENTLENESS
FORBEARANCE
KINDNESS
AND
GOODNESS
WE ARE PRAYING IN GOD'S WILL FOR CHRIST-LIKE CHARACTER, AND ONCE WE RECEIVE IT, EVERYTHING ELSE IN OUR LIVES WILL FALL INTO PLACE

Father, teach us that the only thing count is faith expressing itself through love; it will last in our lives or make us complete.  Lord, give us a desire for things of the Spirit, so we may have peace; no one has power over another in the Kingdom of God because we're all the same.  Father, show us that kindness; is one resolution that will deliver us forever from pride.  Lord, let the Holy Spirit be in complete charge of our lives; so we may have self-control, and all self-indulgence will be removed.  Father, as we struggle in the quicksand of this lost world, we count it all joy because You are with us.  Yea, though we walk through the valley of death, we have no fear because Your rod and staff comfort us.  Thank You for the sacrifice of Your only Son; that allowed a sinner to be restored to You, so we may see heaven.   Lord, we thank You for forgiveness, mercy, and grace; in Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING

Lord, let us learn from Your parable; that if we pray without ceasing and believe what we pray for, You will answer our prayers. Father, when our thoughts turn to worry, fear, depression, and doubt, let us not give up; let us turn to Your Word and prayer for hope. Lord, help us not be anxious about anything, but in everything present to You in prayer and thanksgiving. Father, teach us how to use prayer as a weapon against temptation and the devil. Lord, we understand that Your Word, our faith, and prayer are what keep us from depending on our understanding. So, Lord, we ask that You open our hearts and minds, fill them with wisdom; and the knowledge to implement Your wisdom in our daily walk. Father, let our actions honor You as we show kindness, gentleness, and love to others. Lord, fill us with the Holy Spirit; let the Spirit take residence in our hearts, and use us to help build others and Your kingdom. In Jesus' name Amen

LET US PRAY

Lord, so many people, assumes that because they confess with their mouth they receive You as their Savior, they automatically have eternal life.  Father, teach us through self-study of Your Word; how to walk in Christ-like Character, and let us not be misled by false teachings.  Lord, help us understand that we must live as we are instructed in Your Word; to receive the gift of eternal life.  Father, so many believers, feel they can continuously sin with no consequence; give us knowledge of the penalties we face, or our children face for our disobedient.  Father, help us interpret the Word in Your will; so we can draw those that are lost, too You .  Lord, the Word clearly states “ that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God.  So, Lord, right now, give us Your strength to repent and turn away from our sins; give us Your courage as we stand on Your Word; strengthen our faith and help us with our doubts and fears.  Forgive us, Lord, for falling short of Your glory, as we honor and worship Your Name, Amen

WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR

Giving thanks for what God has done for us should be done daily; and we must encourage others through scripture, on why they should give thanks and express gratitude.   When we become oneness with God, He will “2 Corinthians 9 10-11 supply seed to the sower and bread for food; and multiply our seeds sown, and increase the fruit of our righteousness.  Being enriched in every way, so that, we can be generous on every occasion and through us, our generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. We are the blessings, we are the Spiritual Soldiers; that give others hope, through our giving.  No matter how little you have, you have more than someone else; we can be the answer to someone's prayers and in doing so we honor God.

Father, let the message of Christ dwell among us richly as You teach and admonish us with all wisdom through the Word and the Spirit, so we will sing to You with gratitude in our hearts.  And whatever we do, whether in word or deed, we do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to You the Father.  Lord, do not let us be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we present our request to You.  Father, let Your, peace transcends all understanding, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Father, help us understand that Word, is for our benefit so that the grace You give us can reach more and more people; and cause thanksgiving to overflow to You, for Your goodness.  Lord, renew our hearts and minds daily so we will give thanksgiving to You; for Your mercy, grace, and favor in our lives. Lord, we are thankful for a new day, our family and friends, our health, strength, and being in our right mind.  Father, we are thankful for Your understanding and forgiveness; and Your Son’s sacrifice for our sins, we pray In Jesus name, Amen

CORRUPTION OF GOD’S WORLD

There is so much corruption in the world today; because we do not fear God, or trust in Him.  We have removed His name: from our schools, our jobs, and even from some of our homes.  We cannot continue to remove God from our lives; and survive, only a fool has said in their heart, “there is no God,” these fools are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice.  Our Nation promises freedom for all, but they themselves are slaves of corruption.  For whatever overcomes a person; to that, we are enslaved, believers we must stand against corruption or we will all suffer death.

Galatians 6:8 for the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.  2 Peter 1:4 by which He has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them we may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desires.

Hear our prayer, O’Lord, please listen to our cries for help; be not deaf to our weeping.  For we dwell with You as a stranger in our own land, as all our fathers did.  Lord, lift us out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; set our feet on a rock to give us a firm place to stand.  Father, put a new song in our hearts; for all the world to hear and fear, cause we put our trust in You.  Father, we desire to do Your will; Your New Covenant is within our hearts, sealed with the atoning death of Jesus.  Lord, help us seek Your plan for our lives, abandoning all things of the flesh.  Father, help us turn from our old ways, and cling to Your purpose as our own.  Lord, do not let us hide Your righteousness in our hearts; so we won't conceal Your love and its changing power.  Father, unseal our lips about injustice; and give us Your strength and courage to stand against all unrighteousness and corruption, this is the duties of all believers.  Father surround our children with Spiritual Soldiers, and give them Your guidance and protection, and draw them near to You.  Lord, we thank You for forgiveness, peace, and joy; and we will stand on Your Word with the faith of a mustard seed, that if we humble ourselves and pray You will save our land and Your people.  We pray to You in Jesus name Amen

GOD’S PEACE

This world is full of violence, hate, and evil, which can cause conflict and turmoil in our daily walk with Christ. But, when we receive Christ as our Savior, we are set free from the world; we have elected a wonderful new life as servants to our Father. Becoming His servants breaks the chains of recklessness, envy, jealousy, and hate, and it is replaced with love for all God's people.   Proverbs 3:1 my children, do not forget my teaching but let your hearts keep my commandments, for the length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. God promises His people a peace that surpasses all understanding, releasing us from the material and fleshly desires. When we have the peace that comes from God, we are not troubled with things and people of the world; we focus more on things of the Spirit. John 14:27 peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as man, and the world gives. So do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid.

Once we have peace, we are more content with ourselves, and we do not need the things of the world; to be pleased. So we start to see and handle people and things differently; because God controls our hearts, so we are not anxious for anything.

Lord, fill us with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, so we may not be anxious about anything of this world. Father, let Your Spirit take away all malice, deceit, hate, and hypocrisy; so we will desire You, like infants longing for Spiritual milk. Father, deliver us from the power of sin and our oppressions; deliver us from bloodguilt and its consequences, so we can obey Your Word and live a life pleasing to You.  Lord, we have been rejected by man; but in Your sight, we are living stones being built up as a spiritual house, to be Holy. Father, teach us how to offer Spiritual sacrifices; acceptable to You through Jesus Christ. Lord, let all people experience the peace that You offer; and the changing power it holds so we may draw near to You and become faithful servants to You and others. Father, we ask for forgiveness of our sins, the past, presence, and future; and we thank You for mercy, grace, and favor. Father, keep a hedge of protection around our children; give them guidance and security from the enemy, and separate them from the world and consecrated to the worship and service of You. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

WE OVERLOOK OUR BLESSINGS

Sometimes God’s blessings come to us disguised as betrayal, crisis, and adversity; so we miss it because we are looking for what we want. Proverbs 21:2 our way is right to us, but God weighs the hearts.  God bless us according to our hearts, and we do not know our hearts, only God can examine the heart.  When we ask for strength, God usually; gives us something to make us strong.  Because with every blessing comes a lesson; if God blessed us the way we choose, we would be overwhelmed and lost; because we do not know what the heart needs.  We desire and pray for things of the world, but God tells us not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of our mind.  Most times we want things that we should not have; things that if we had would lead us down a dark road.  Think about the times, we’ve prayed to have a person we thought was good for us; only to see years later that if we received what we desired, it would have been a catastrophe.  We desire the things of this world; that will not last and cause pain and grief, instead of desiring the things of the Spirit.  Most times we pray for material things; like a new car, or house,  when we should be asking for, wisdom, knowledge, love, and peace; things of the Spirit that will last forever, not the things that keep us in debt, stress, and sickness.  If we desire, to live a better life; we need the things of the Spirit, not the things of this world.

Father, do not let us be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewal of our minds.  Lord, let not our hearts be troubled; by the material things of this world, but, help us prepare a place with You.   Father, teach us how to present ourselves to You as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed.  Lord, help us train our children to be Christ-like; and let our lives become their lesson, instead of the world.  Father, give us a desire for the things of the Spirit; so we do not store up treasures on earth, where thieves break in and steal.  Lord, teach us how to store up treasures in heaven, for where our treasure is there will be our hearts also.  Lord, keep us covered in the Blood; from the top of our heads to the soles of our feet, give us wisdom and the knowledge to implement Your wisdom in our lives.  Father, give us a desire for Your Word; so we can become the people You created us to be, and not people of this world.  Lord, we thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son; to save us from our sins, and restore us to You. Lord, we ask for forgiveness of our sins; and help us forgive others, in Jesus name Amen

IT’S NOT ABOUT US

We need to stop thinking so highly of ourselves; because it is not about us, it’s about Jesus and how we treat others.  The two greatest commandments are to: love the Lord our God with all our hearts and minds, and love our neighbor as we do ourselves.  This is what we will be judged on, these two commandments.  We show our love for the Lord through our obedience and how we treat others; the Word tells us 1 John 4:20-21 “if we say, I love God and hate our brothers and sisters of any color, we are liars; for if we do not love our brothers and sisters whom we have seen, we cannot love God whom we have not seen. Whoever loves God must also love all people.   And remember we cannot judge a person by the way they dress or their material possessions:  James2:1-3 people show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.  For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into our assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, do not pay more attention to one than we do the other; treat them the same.  Because, if we treat the person with gold and fine clothing better than we treat the person with the shabby clothing; we have made distinctions among ourselves, and become a judge with evil thoughts.  Because God has chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the Kingdom, which He has promised to those who love Him.

Father, thank You, for blessing us today; teach us to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as You forgave us.  Lord, let no corrupt talk come out of our mouths; but good for building up Your Kingdom and lifting up all people.  Lord, open the hearts and minds of Your people; so the Word may give grace, wisdom, and understanding to those who hear.  Lord, let us not grieve the Holy Spirit of God; but offer our bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God, by whom we were sealed for the day of redemption.  Father, let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander, and malice be put away from us, and let us not think more highly of ourselves.  Father, teach us to love You more than we do ourselves; and do unto others as You have done for us.  Lord, give us hope, so we may be filled with joy and peace as we trust in You, and forgive us for our sins. In Jesus name, Amen

BE PATIENT

We are very impatient about everything, even God, but God works in His own time, not ours. 2 Peter 3:8 tells us, "with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." When we are not patient, we complain, and complaining is detrimental to our peace and joy that comes from the Spirit. Being impatient makes our witness to the world more difficult; who wants to listen to a person with dissatisfaction for life and always grumbling and complaining. When we complain that God is moving too slow, we tell Him we are unwilling to trust Him; waiting is the grand instruction. Most times, God makes us stay; because we are not ready for the blessing; or have not received the lesson, He is trying to teach us. Proverbs 14:29 whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays a lack of good sense.

Psalm 37:7 be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes. Psalm 27:14 wait for the Lord; be strong, take heart, and wait for the Lord.

Father, give us the patience to have a great understanding and not be quick-tempered. Lord, keep us completely humble, gentle, and patient, bearing with one another in love, as You love us. Father, give us a burning desire for Your Word, so we may be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. Lord, let us not complain about time; because Your time is not ours, and do not let complaining hinders our blessings. Father, let us not get weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest, so give us Your strength to wait and stand on Your Word. Lord, help us trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding of life and time but acknowledge You in all our ways, so You will make our path straight. Father, we thank You for another day being in our right mind; we thank You for grace as we pray for patience. In Jesus' name, Amen.

GOD IS REAL

The Bible has been written and rewritten; some words have been changed and some Truth lost, but; Revelation tells us If we testify to everyone who hears the Words of prophecy in the Bible; if anyone adds to them God will add to him the plagues described in this book.  And if anyone takes away from the Words of this Book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which is described in this Book.  He who testifies to these things say’s, Yes, I am coming soon. Amen, Come, Lord Jesus.

Now one thing we all religion and people agree on “there is a God”; now I am not sure how much the Holy Bible has been changed, but, through the study of History and different religions, I know the Word has been changed.  But, what they all have in common is God, love, peace, joy, faith, self-control, kindness, gentleness, patience, obedience, and eternity.  They all say that Love and faith are what active, God’s blessings and promises, in our lives. They all tell us to help the poor; they all tell us to show our love for God, through our actions, with others.  Now, we are not sure about what doctrine is ture; but, we are sure about the Author, God is real.

Good morning Lord, thank You, for another day; full of life, health, and strengthen, thank You for another blessing.  Father, help us understand the prophecy of Your Word; which is in accordance with the sound doctrine, so we can develop Fruit, and live in peace with each other.   Lord, strengthen our faith and, help us with our unbelief’s. Father, fill us with Your Truth of the Word, no matter how it is written.  Lord, give us Your love and kindness; so we will help those in need, so they can experience Your Love, through us. Father, we ask that You keep a hedge of protection; around our children and families; so the enemy will cause no harm.  We pray for those that carry the burdens of generation cruses; we pray that all demonic Spirits, that possess us be removed, in Jesus name.   Father, please give us guidance, so we do not walk according to the world; but, to the Spirit; and let us not fall into temptation.  Please Deliver us from our material and fleshly desire, and replace them with the desire of the Spirit; for they is the Kingdom, the Power, and Glory, Amen

LOVE GOD

The Bible is given to us for instruction and guidance; instruction on how to live a Spiritual life, and guidance in our daily walk, raising our children, loving our spouse, community sanitation, health and loving Jesus.  Matthew 22: 37 Love the Lord with all our hearts and minds; this is the first and greatest commandment. The concept of the whole Bible is LOVE; loving God and others.  Loving God and others is the basic laws of life that if practice, would limit all hate and conflict in the world.  Jesus died on a hill for those He loved; and if we would love Him, like He loves us everything else would fall into place, in our lives

Love God and cease to worry how we will live
Love God and we will love all those whom God loves
Love God and we will behave as God desires
Love God and we will guarantee the world our best
Love God and we will be in Spirit instead of the flesh
Love God and He will give us patience
Love God and we will not envy
Love God and our lives will have purpose

Lord You, planted a seed in us before we are born, our soul; so nourish our Souls with Your Word, and help us mature into to the believers, You created us to be.  Father, teach us how to love and care for each other; as You love us, and help us depend on You, and not man.  Lord, You so loved the world that You gave Your only Son to die for us, and we are so grateful. Father, forgive us for our sins; and help us turn away from our transgressions, and be restored to You.  Lord, we need a change in our lives, gives us Your wisdom, and the knowledge to implemented Your wisdom in our lives.  Father, keep us humble and in Your will; and remove our pride and replace is with love, peace, and kindness.  Lord, remove every demonic Spirit from us; and every obstacle that keeps us from sitting at Your feet, in Jesus name, Amen

FOLLOWING FALSE PROPHETS

1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every Spirit, but try the Spirit whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world

Please study the Word for ourselves; so we do not be misled, because if we rely on someone else; we might get lead down a dark road.  We must be aware of false prophets; that stirrup confusion and division, our God is not a God of division and confusion; neither are His worker. People that are confident of their own righteousness and look down on everybody else, are not of God.  Those that stand and pray with themselves “Lord, I am not like the others that sin”false Prophets think too highly of themselves, instead of admitting we all are sinners.   Or those that take pride in material processions over people; because, people of the Spirit, desire things of the Spirit, and the well-being of others.   A child of God will do better when they know better; but, if you know better and choose to disobey, we are not of Him.  The more wisdom and knowledge we gain; the more we mature and Christ-like we become, and if we’re studying the Word and not developing Fruit, then the Word is falling on deaf ears. So we should search ourselves and ask God to remove whatever is hindering our understanding and growth.

Father, give us the desire for Your Word; so we may study to show thyself approved unto You, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.  Lord, we will stand on Your Word, because, You are our strength in time of trouble; and our salvation of righteousness comes from You, not man.  Father, give us refuge, and deliver us from our fleshly desires.  Lord, You urge us to watch out; and stay away from, those who cause divisions and confusion, that are contrary to Your teachings. For these people are not serving You Lord, but their own appetites; by their smooth talk and flattery way, they deceive the hearts of the ones naïve to Your Word.   Lord, give us the wisdom and knowledge of Your Word so we do not be laid astray.  Father, keep our hearts free from the love of money and material things of the world; that keep us in debt, let us be content with what we have; because things of the earth will pass away.  Father, help us understand if we know Your will and do not follow Your instructions, we will beaten with many blows.  Lord, fill us with the Holy Spirit; to help us obey Your Word, because, we cannot do it on our own.  Father, forgive us of our sins; and thank You for life, health, and strength, as well as mercy, grace, and favor. Amen

BELIEVERS LACK UNITY

Christ is what unifies us, unity with other believers enables us to endure persecution, and show the greatness of God.   Phil 1:27 only let our conversation be as it becomes the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.  Satan loves to divide and conquer, but his efforts fail when we make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  God appeals to us in the name of Jesus that all believers agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among us and that we may be perfectly united in mind and thought. Colossians 3: 13-14 and furthermore we must bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we may have against one another.  Forgive as the Lord forgives us.  And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. With family, blood unifies us, and with others, the Blood of Christ unifies us.

Father, let believers everywhere experience the blessing of unity in You.  Lord, teach us of what we have in common; one hope, one faith, and one Lord, that is Christ Jesus.  Father, the love we have for You gives us oneness, harmony, agreement, and unity.  Lord, equip Your people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up; and our Spirits united as one, with love for each other.  Father, give us a desire for Your Word; so we may gain the wisdom and knowledge to reach, unity in the faith of Christ.  Father, help us mature in Spirit; and attain the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, so we may be brought to completeness with each other.  In Jesus name Amen

LORD TEACH US HOW TO PRAY

Prayer is vital in our Spiritual walk; we need to pray without ceasing; especially for our children. Luke 5:16 Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.  God want to hear about our troubles that He may comfort us, tell Him our joys, that He may sober them; tell Him our longings, that He may purify them.  Talk to Him about our temptations, that He may shield us from them.  Some cannot thank of things to pray for; but, if we pour out all our weaknesses, needs, troubles, and fears, there will be no lack of what to say.  God is very personal and loves to talk with us about our needs and wants; however some of us do not trust Christ for our salvation, so we remain alienated from Him.  To have an effective prayer life, we must meet the conditions laid down in Word for effectiveness in our prayers. Although the Bible offers a great deal of guidance on how to deepen our communication with God, effective prayer has more to do with the one doing the praying than it does with how we are to pray.

When we go to the Lord in prayer we must have a clean heart and mind. We cannot go to God for comfort when we harbor hate, anger, and unforgiveness in our hearts.  God is love and we must approach Him in love for all, or are prayers will fall on deaf ears. James 4:3 We ask and do not receive because we ask with wrong motives. Proverbs 21:13 We shut our ears to the cry of the poor, will also cry himself and not be answered.  God bless us to bless others; when we have the means to bless others but don’t our prayers will fall on deaf ears. How can we expect mercy from God, when we show no mercy to our brothers and sisters.  If we pray for harm of another or with the wrong motives our prayers will fall on deaf ears; and God will turn an evil prayer back on us.  We must study the Word, for instructions on how to have an effective prayer life; and when we pray use not vain repetitions as the heathen do, just pray from our hearts.

Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom comes, on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever Amen

COMMUNICATE WITH GOD DAILY

Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.  Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?  And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, You who practice lawlessness

Jesus believed in the Bible and referred to it often because He trusted God’s Word.  The Bible has been given to us; so that we may know the author, and He can know us.  To know someone, we must communicate with them; and listen to them, to develop a relationship.  It is the same way we build a relationship with God; we must talk to and listen to Him daily.  We talk to God in prayer, and we listen to Him through His Word.  God wants to talk to us every day; so He can know how we feel, and what He can do to help us.  But, most of us only communicate with God when we are in need; and that’s not a good thing, He needs to hear from us when things are going right as well.  If we have a relationship with someone; but we only heard from them, when they are in need, how would we feel.   Talk to God every day just because we love Him, and listen to what He has to say; so we can deepen our relationship with Him.  As our relationships strengthen, so will our obedience to His Word.

Father, You are the Creator who shaped us; You are the One who knew the path we would take.  Thank You for carving us into Your image; please help us develop a relationship with You, through prayer and studying Your Word.  Lord, it is Your Words that give us guidance, protection, and hope; and our prayer life and faith, that activate Your promise and blessing.  Father, thank You for being a loving and understanding God; that forgives us over and over again, for our sins.  Lord, forgive us for our disobedience and living in sin; that  You died to set us free from, but we still let the chains of this world, keep us in bondage.  Father, we surrender our will for Yours; please give us a burning desire for Your Word, and fill us with the Holy Spirit to help us obey Your Word. Lord, we know we cannot do this on our own; so please come into our hearts, and deliver us from evil and ourselves.  In Jesus name, we pray, Amen
