COURAGE AND COMMITMENT TO KEEP OUR FLESH AT REST

For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose].

It takes courage and commitment to obey God, with all that's happening around us. Courage to give up what we want in order to do what God ask us to do; courage to do the things that may bring unwelcome results. Commitment to rearrange our lives to match His plan. Commitment to love the unlovable, to forgive the unforgivable, and to give up a lifestyle we want to keep. But, we can do it, if we commit to communicating with God daily, He will walk us through it, with protection and peace. This is the only way to accomplish this, because the flesh want what the flesh wants. And since we have been serving the flesh longer than we have been serving the Spirit. We need Christ strength and God's favor to overcome the flesh and keep it at rest.

Father, in our distress we call to You and You answered us, from deep in this realm of darkness we call for help, please hear our cry. Lord, help us cling to You, so remove every obstacle that hinders our blessings or keep us from sitting at Your feet. Lord, let us not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to You. Lord, search our hearts and remove the fleshly desires, that brings no honor to You.  Father, search the hearts of our government and remove the dark spirit of hate and replace it with the things of the Spirit. Lord, dismantle racism and help us work in unity and peace. Father, we come to You for these reasons and kneel before You. Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. We pray that out of Your glorious riches You will strengthen us with power through Your Spirit, in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. And we pray that we are rooted and established in love, and have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide, long, high, and deep is Your love. Lord, to know this love that surpasses knowledge that we may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of You, and to keep our flesh at rest, in Jesus name Amen

STUDY AND PRACTICE WHAT WE HAVE LEARNED

2 Timothy 3:14-17 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which can make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be competent and equipped for every good work.

Father, studying Your Word daily will help us bear Fruit, so let the Spirit of Your Son rest upon us. Lord, let the Spirit of wisdom and understanding guide us. Father, we need Your Spirit of counsel daily, so walk through this valley of death with us. Lord, let the Spirit of knowledge and fear of You overtake us. Lord, let our delights be in the Your will, not our own. Lord, help us practice what we have learned: not to judge by what our eyes see, "but Your Word," or decide disputes by what we hear, but with righteousness, through prayer and Yout counseling. Father, give us the Spirit of kindness and compassion. So, we will not judge those in need, but show mercy for the meek of the earth, like You have shown mercy to us. Father, teach us how to breathe and give us the Fruit of self-control so we are not easily angered. Father, teach us how to meditate on Your Word and how to implement the Word in our daily lives. Lord, keep us in full body armor and the belt of righteousness around our waist. In Jesus' name, Amen 🙏

AN ATTITUDE OF PRAISE

Psalm 9:1 worship hope soul I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

Believers have an attitude of praise. IT'S our way of giving Thanks to our, Lord. Don't you have something to praise Him for, think about all that's going on in the world today. If you have not been sick, you have a reason to praise Him. If you have not, lost a loved one, you have a reason to praise. If you still have a job, in this bad economy, you have a reason to praise Him. If we woke up in our right minds, we have a reason to praise Him.

Father, You are our God and we will exalt You and praise Your name, for perfect faithfulness You have done wonderful things, things planned long ago and we are so grateful. Father, we give thanks to Your, Son, with all our hearts; for His sacrifice and we will tell of all His, wonderful deeds. Lord, You,  created our inmost being; You knitted us together in our mother’s womb. So, we  praise You because we are fearfully and wonderfully made; in Your image. So, search our hearts and remove all that is not of You and replace it with the things of the Spirit, so we can develop Christ like character and become inward changed men and women, in Jesus name Amen

COME AS YOU ARE NOW

The words "come as you are" means just that, don't focus on your surroundings focus on knowing God. The rules are read the instruction daily, worship and praise Him with the right attitude. Pray, and memorizing scriptures to keep us in full body armor at all times. His instructions, will also teach us how to pray in His Word through scripture. When we follow these instruction and implement them into our daily lives we will change and prosper. The Word instructed us to share our testimony, so those that are looking for Him, can find Him. This is what I experienced so I would like to pass it on to you. Have a God filled day.

Father, everything in Your Word is coming to pass, especially the sign of the beast. Lord, we confess our sins and give us Your strength to turn away from our sins. Lord, give us eyes that see what pleases You and all that brings honor to Your name. Father, give us ears, that hear Your instructions and guidance us through through this valley of death. Lord, we're not sure why You choose us, but we are so grateful. Lord, let us show mercy to our brothers and sisters and reprogram us to have unity. Lord, Your love is more powerful than the hate in this world, so help us remove all that's wicked and dark, from our lives. Father, let the Word cleanse us and give You room to move in a mighty way. Lord, give us Your courage to stand on Your Word and not return to our old ways. Lord, fill us with Your Spirit of kindness and compassion, so we will help those in need and they will see You in us. Lord, teach us how to breathe and stay focused on You, when we are under attack, so we can keep Your Spirit of self control. Father, thank You, for a new day and thank You in advance for Your hedge of protection around us. Lord, bless the families of those that were called home and we thank You in advance for receiving their souls. Thank You, Lord for Your favor and grace that we receive daily, in Jesus name, Amen

USE YOUR TIME WISELY

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ...

Lord, let us take this time to draw near to You and to each other. Lord, we now have the opportunity and time to teach our children and grandchildren a way to go. Father, we have time to stop glutton, help us clean out all the clutter in our homes, and give to those in need. Lord, provide us with patient, wisdom, and knowledge to deal with our children at home school this year. Father, let us not be so gullible that we follow hate and bad decisions that bring destruction. Lord, help us develop the skills that we will need to adjust to the change that is taking place around us. Lord, reprogram us with Your love, courage, kindness, and compassion that will help heal this land and each other. Father teaches how to share the same grace, mercy, and love we have received from You. Lord, if there was ever a time to pray, that time is now. So, we come together on one accord, asking for Your guidance, protection, and peace that will help override hate. Father, search our hearts and minds right now and remove all that is not of You, in Jesus name, Amen

LET GOD TEACH US HOW TO BREATHE

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. "Do you have the Breath of God in you" Jeremiah 10:14 Every man is stupid and without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, for his images are false, and there is no breath in them.

We must learn how to meditate and breath. Every now and than, we need to get in a dark room and think deeply. We need to learn how to focus our minds in a time, of silence. Meditation teaches us how to breathe and if we can control our breathing we can control our emotions. Meditation, also helps us with Spiritual awareness, mental clarity, and gives us a calm and stable state of mind. A state of mind that gives us ears to hear Him speak.

Father, breathe Your Spirit into us and fill us with the Holy Spirit, that renew us daily. Thank You, for Your Spirit that made us in Your image, and the breath of God, that gives us life. Lord, breathe on us, like You did, Your Disciples. "John 20:22 when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit." Lord, Your Scriptures is breathed out by You and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. Help us breath in Your wisdom and the knowledge of how to control our breathing that helps us walk with You. Father, breathe on the people who are called by Your name, so we can humble ourselves, and pray. Lord, let us seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways, so You will hear from heaven and forgive our sin and heal this land. In Jesus name Amen

HELP US FUNCTION AS ONE BODY

The body and the Church work under the same concept. The body/church must function as one, if the foot wanted to function as a hand, the body would be out of balance. If the wrist was broken the hand could not serve the body in the way it was designed to. If the eye wanted to function as the nose we would lose sight.

The body/church can only be of use if it works together as it was designed too. The Lord designed the church to work as the body. Each and every one of us has a function in the church, and where every that functions is it’s needed to help the body/Church work. No part of the body/church is insignificant, no part of the body/Church is better than the other; no part body/Church can do what another part of the body/Church can do. If one part of the body/church does not operate as it should, the rest of the body/church will have to work harder to compensate for that lose. Now if the brain (Pastor, ministry, bishop, ECT) is dead, the whole body/church is in trouble. Why? Because the brain tells the body/church how to function, NO PART OF THE BODY/CHURCH WILL OPERATE WELL, UNLESS IT FUNCTION AS IT WAS DESINGED TOO.

Lord, help us function as children of God, in unity and peace. Father, fill us with Your Spirit and restore us to You. Father, forgive us for falling short of Your mercy, grace, and favor, and thank You for keeping us. Father, walk with us through this valley of death and we will fear no evil. Lord, let us start this day with the right attitude, by letting You order our steps. Lord, we pray for all the people who request prayer. Lord, You know them name by name and need by need, please bless them according to Your will. Lord, help us use this time at home; to draw closer to You and each other, in these uncertain times. Father, give the people that have lost the job, the people that loss their loved ones, the people that are about to lose their home, hope and faith of a better tomorrow. Lord, help us be better Stewards with Your money, especially in these trying times. Father, this world 🌎 is out of order and it is not functioning as You designed it to, so intervene, Lord. Help us function as one body, through the Spirit.   So, remove the sinful spirit of envy, hate, Jealousy and all the things that keeps us from sitting at Your feet. In Jesus name Amen

THANK YOU LORD FOR FAVOR

Father, we don't know why You choose us but we're grateful that: we're not homeless, sick, confused, hungry, jobless, addicted or lost. Lord, thank You, for the cross and all we have received from Your sacrifice and thank You, in advance for the blessings and opportunities to come. Lord, we ask that You search our hearts and remove all that is not of You and fill us with the things of the Spirit. Father, continue working in and through us to serve Your purpose and be a blessing to other. Lord, speak through me when I'm writing; so the lost can hear You and be transformed into Your servant, just as You transformed me. Lord, bless the weak and Persecute those who use them. Lord, peel the cover of corruption and those that use it to benefit themselves. Thank You, Lord, that we did not break under the pressure of the enemy and thank You, for our Guardian angels, that were working overtime protecting us. Father, help all believers be inward changed men and women, not just religious fanatics. Lord, we need to make a decision on where to live, please guide us to where we need to be to reach our full potential. Lord, thank You, for forgiveness and teaching us how to look over and forgive others. Thank You, for keeping us still and taming our tongues. Thank You, that the worldly things and people that use to interest us are no longer exciting. Thank You, for Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement You in our daily lives. Thank You, Father, in advance for justice for my son and the sons and daughter killed unjustly. Thank You, for removing our fears and doubts and replacing them with Your strength and courage. Lord, we're not sure why You Chose us but, we are so very grateful You did and as we start a another day. We pray that You keep Your hedge of protection around us, our children, and our children's children, our families and our friends. In Jesus name Amen

HE BLESSED US TO BE THEIR BLESSING

One day an orphan, stood at the street corner begging for food, money or whatever she could get. Now, this little girl was wearing very tattered clothes, she was dirty and quite disheveled. A well-to-do man passed that corner without giving the girl a second look. When he returned to his expensive home, his happy and comfortable family, and his well-laden dinner table. His thoughts returned to the young orphan. He became very angry with God for allowing such conditions to exist. He reproached God, saying, How can you let this happen. Why don't You do something to help this girl. Then he heard God in the depths of his being responding by saying I did. I blessed You, to be a blessing to her.

Luke 12:48 To whom much is given, much will be required.

Father, help us understand that, for everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and for the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. Lord, let us be a blessing to others, like You have been a blessing to us. Lord, give us discernment of who and how to bless them. Father, we have been entrusted with certain things, and Your faithfulness requires us to manage those things wisely and unselfishly. Lord, let us not be unfaithful servant, who mismanages Your resources to satiate our own greed, because judgment is certain for an unfaithful servant. Lord, we all have been giving blessings that others can us, so let us not equat financial gifts as the only blessings we received. Lord, we have time, talents, skills, encouragement and other Spiritual gifts we can share. So, we pray for wisdom, on how to use Your blessings and resources to help others. Lord, help us commit ourselves to expending our blessings according to Your will, so that we may glorify You and lift up others. So, multiple what You put in our hands, as we continue to serve our purpose, by blessings others and building up Your Kingdom, in Jesus name Amen

LET US NOT COMPROMISE YOUR WORD

Hebrews 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

We live in a world full of temptations, that urges us to compromise our godly values. But, when we choose to compromise God's Word, we pay a price, just as Jesus paid a price. Even though it may not seem immediately apparent to others or even to ourselves. Satan, wants us to believe the lie, that no one gets hurts when we compromise our core values or God’s Word. But, that lie has cost men/women their innocence and their lives. God rip the kingdom out of Solomon’s hands, because of his compromising (1 king 11:11). Unhealthy compromising is costly.

Father, teach us that we cannot serve our flesh and our Spirit. So, put to death therefore what is earthly in us, let us not compromise our spiritual values. Lord, search our hearts and minds and remove our desires of the flesh, help us die to our sinful way, so we may walk in Spirit. Lord, If anyone comes to us and does not bring Your teaching, we will not receive them. Lord, let us not take part in their wicked works, because, they exchanged the truth about You, for the lies of the world. Lord, let us not worship and served man which You created rather than You, the Creator. Father, help our spiritual and world leaders, be above reproach, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money, or a racist. Father, help us all, manage ourselves and our household well, with all dignity keeping our children and ourselves submissive to You. So, Lord, continue to work in and through us, in Jesus name Amen

HELP US GUIDE US AND KEEP US

2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
I’m so grateful that His grace is sufficient for us. I’m thankful that we can look back at the hard times that we’ve encountered in our lives and tell that He’s a faithful God. We're blessed that we can say that He’s never once failed us. Not once and He never will.

Lord, we have so many material things, but we have depleted our values. Lord, refresh and restore us to our Father and teach us how to worship and praise Him. Lord, we have more food and less nutrition, Lord, let the food we eat nourish our bodies, as Your Word nourish our Souls. Father, we have learn how to split an atom, but we cannot split racism and hate, please teach us how to love, like You love us. Lord, we have more leisure time, but less fun, Lord, fill us with Your joy and happiness, that gives us peace, even in this pandemic. Father, we have bigger houses, but so many broken home, intervene Lord, and mend our homes and marriages. Lord, we have more degrees and less common sense; Lord, give us Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement You, in our daily lives. Father, we have more money, but more people are starving and homeless. Lord, help us become better Stewards with Your money and give us a caring heart. Lord, we have more churches, but not enough Christians, Lord, give us perseverance and help is become the people You created us to be. Father, we have more blessing and less faith, Lord, what are we doing wrong. Lord, we know we are unworthy sinners, and we ask for Your forgiveness. Father, we believe Christ is Your Son, and we believe that He died for our sins and that You raised Him to life and He raised us. Father, we want to trust Him as our Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. So, guide our lives and help us to do Your will. We, pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

GOD DEPUTIZED US TO DO HIS BIDDING

Scripture makes it clear that God blesses us not so we can live with greed, but so we can bless others. God loves a cheerful giver. When He sees that someone is giving freely out of love, God blesses them more. We are blessed to be a blessing. God has given everyone different talents to be used for the benefit of others.

God deputized us to do his bidding on earth. The order is: God bless us, so we can bless others. God, uses our courage and strength to fight for the weak and up lift the poor. We should be the vessel God blessings flow through.

Father, gives eyes that see there is always an opportunity to bless someone. Lord, help us more we seek to bless others, so You will provide for us and open more doors to accomplish Your will. Father, help us understand that, the greatest blessing in the whole world is being a blessing. Lord, we know when You bless us financially, it's not to raise our standard of living, it's to raise our standard of giving. So, Lord, thank You for a new day of life, not because we needed it, but because someone needs us. So, fill us up, with Your love and blessings,so we can overflow to others. In Jesus name Amen
