Ephesians 6:11-18 Put on the whole armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God so that you will be able to resist the evil day, and having done everything, stand firm.
Like Peter, who was still of human faithlessness and fear, he said he would face prison and death with Christ. But, Christ knows us better than we know ourselves. He knew Peter didn't have the courage and strength to endure the suffering and day-to-day struggles without the Holy Spirit. So, He explained to Peter he would deny me three times because Peter had not been baptized by the Holy Spirit yet and was not prepared.Lord, help us become Disciples and baptize us in the Holy Spirit, so the enemy or our adversity will not sift us like wheat. Lord, let our faith not suffer when we walk through this Valley of death and restore us from backsliding. Lord, let us "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Instead, in humility, we value others above ourselves, not looking to our own interests but the interest of others. Father, thank You for the provision and training us on the way to go. Thank You that we're blessed to be able to bless others. Thank You for keeping us through the night, and Thank You in advance for the hedge of protection around us today. So, let us be fitted with the shoes of the gospel of peace; allows us to be ready to share You with others. Lord, grant that we may be prepared to receive Christ when He comes in glory and to share in the banquet of heaven, where He lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name Amen
