PRAY FOR OUR YOUNG MEN

Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

Lord, teach our young men how to be the head and not the tail. Fill them with the Holy Spirit that empowers them to be the vessel and Kings they were created to be. Father, Your Word says, "Rejoice, O young man, in their youth, and let their hearts cheer you in the days of their youth. Walk in the ways of their hearts and the sight of their eyes. But know that God will bring them into judgment for all these things." So, Lord, we cover them from the top of their heads to the bottom of their feet with Your promise "Do not let them be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of their minds, that by testing them they may discern what Your will is, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Lord, hold their hands as they walk through a system designed against them and keep a hedge of protection around them. Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and favor for Your people 🙏 continue blessing them. Thank You for the Spiritual Soldiers around our youth to help guide and support them in this Valley of death. Thank You, Lord, for purchasing them with the Blood of Your own Son. You know the hearts of our young men. We pray that they would grow a desire in them that some would devote a life of service to Your purpose. Help them be honest and passionate worshipers that take hold of these desires and run with them. In Jesus' name, Amen. 

LORD WE REBUKE ANGER

"Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense."

One second of anger could cause you a lifetime of grief. We all struggle with moments of rage when faced with annoyance or an overwhelming situation. But the good news is there are scriptures dealing with every part of our lives. So, rather than lashing out with harsh words and actions that only leave us feeling guilt and shame, we can stop and focus on Scripture for help. When we are angry, this is the time to practice what we have learned. When we study or focus on Scripture, the Holy Spirit intervenes in our situation and claims us.


Father, help us speak softly and turn away wrath. Lord, let not harsh words stir up anger and help us focus on what we have learned". Lord, when our tempers are stirred up, let us turn to the Holy Spirits that clam our atmosphere. Father, fill our hearts and minds with Your peace, so we will be slow to anger. Lord, help us take hold of Your promise that You will not forsake us. Whatever circumstances we face that produce anger in our hearts, remind us that You have not left our side, and You never will. So, right now, Lord, we release all our anger into Your care. You know our concerns; give us Your wisdom and the knowledge of how to implement You in our hearts instead of anger. In Jesus' name Amen

DON'T FEED IT KILL IT

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so you can stand up under it.

We can kill anything if we don't feed it. Don't feed anger by holding on to unforgiveness; kill it with the Word. Don't feed jealousy by allowing negative thoughts in; kill it with the Word. Don't feed gossip by carrying it to the next person. Kill it with silence and the Word. We have the power to kill anything in our lives that's not a part of Him.

Father, help us nourish our Spirit daily so it does not die. Lord, help us grow and mature into the new nature of Christ. Lord, let the Word penetrate our hearts and minds, so we do not gratify the desires of our flesh. Lord, let Your thoughts be our thoughts to help put to death our sinful nature. Let the love in our hearts for You kill hatred, jealousy, rage, addiction, adultery, envy, and unforgiveness; to give You room to move in our lives powerfully. Father, let the Spirit prune our Fruit of peace, patience, kindness,  goodness, generosity, and self-control. Lord, strengthen our faith, crucify our fear and doubts, and kill all that's not of You. In Jesus' name Amen

  

WE MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE PROCESS

"Choose some wise, understanding, and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you."

To choose someone wise, understanding, and respected, we must let our voices be heard. We can't wait until a leader is determined to speak up about our concerns; this is the only time you have to let your voice be heard.

Lord, we understand that you are All-powerful and the shepherd who protects us. But, You also put a government to govern and lead Your people. So, Lord, I ask You to intervene in what You put into place and lead us out of despair. Father, pull the wool off all those who harbor hate and malice in their hearts for others. Let Your wrath overcome their schemes against Your people and this dark world 🌎. Let, Your people come out in groups of thousands to select a leader with Integrity and love for all people. Father, help us understand that we must participate both 🙏 to make changes. So, let all the people called by Your name humble themselves and pray and seek Your face when we choose our leaders who have turned from their wicked ways and follow You.  In Jesus' name Amen 

NOURISH THE SEED WITH THE WORD

No one born of God practices sin because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God.

God has planted a seed in our hearts where He dwells. We have to nourish that seed daily to grow and create new nature. Now, if we don't nourish it daily, weeds start to grow, the weeds of pride, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and hate. Therefore, we must stay connected to the Gardner because He constantly works to rid our hearts of those weeds.

Father, thank You for keeping us through the night, and thank You in advance for the hedge of protection You have around us today. Lord, we cover our children and their teachers with the Blood from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet. Keep them safe in their coming and going throughout this school year. Lord, help us nourish their seeds and teach them how to go. Lord, keep us still and drown out all the confusion around us, so we can hear Your voice. Lord, strengthen our faith and prayer life, so we will trust You during our troubles, Your peace will flourish, and the weeds die. Lord, don't let the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke us and make us unfruitful. Help us receive and nourish our seeds daily, so the roots of our seeds will grow deeper and help us not stumble and fall. Father, let the Word renew our minds and hearts daily to Your truth and align our hearts with Your wisdom and purpose. Lord, do not let us become complacent but give us an insatiable desire to grow in a new nature of love, kindness, humility, gentleness, faith, and grace. In Jesus' name Amen 

PRAY

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 

Prayer is our conversation with God and how we can develop a personal, meaningful relationship with the Him. There is so much hate, envy, jealousy, pride, and stress in the world today that we can pray without ceasing. If you have children or a spouse that enough to keep you praying. We tend to pray more when we are weak or in need, which is good, but God wants to communicate with us daily, because we need renewal daily. So let me ask you have you prayed today if not pray with me. 

Father, we come to You today just because of Who You are and what You have already done. Lord, we thank You for Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement You in our daily lives. We thank You, for daily renewal through our prayer life and relationships with You. Thank You, for favor and keeping us safe through it all. Lord, help us develop a stronger pray life, that keeps us connected to You and on the path of righteousness. Lord, let our prayers open our hearts to You, so You can bring our hearts into alignment with Your purpose and plan. In Jesus name Amen 

PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE

Romans 5:3-4 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

We need the patience to slow down and learn to trust God and let Him lead. We need the perseverance to endure the trials and day-to-day struggles without compromising or wavering. Waiting is the hardest thing to do. That's why patience is so essential; patience is what helps us endure. We need patience in our most difficult times to endure and rely on God to be with us.

Lord, we understand patience is one of those virtues that we all strive to maintain. But our daily struggles sometimes weaken our self-control, and impatience settles in at work or home. Let our patients create perseverance to help us get through the difficult times of life. Father, baptize us with the Fruit of patience and help us endure suffering and overcome our fears. Lord, give us Your wisdom and knowledge to know when to rest, stay focused on our purpose, and avoid becoming discouraged. So, we thank You in advance for hearing our prayer for patience and endurance in all situations. Purify our intentions and correct our thought patterns as we sincerely release our desire to walk in Your ways. Bless us with the light of understanding that strengthens our faith and teaches us to trust and rely upon You. Amen

BRAINWASHED

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

We have been brainwashed, so we rarely question things that are told to us or what we read in books. Helping someone brainwashed can be challenging, and it can take a long time since their ideas are deeply rooted in their hearts and minds.

Lord, we have adopted radically different beliefs because of the systematic pressure from our oppressors. Intervene Lord, and let Your truth be known, not that of man🙏. Lord, restore our birthright and protect us from the evil of our enemies, oppressors, and generation curses 🤬. Lord bless us with the principle that shows Your Spirit in us, so strengthen our faith and help us overcome our unbeliefs. Father, give us an understanding of Your grace so we will walk in Your ways and serve our purpose. Lord, we pray for healing Spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally, and let Your truth manifest in our lives. Pull the veil off the face of envy, jealousy, pride, strife, and unforgiveness with Your Fruit of the Spirit. Lord, give us eyes that see the plan and path to eternal life and wisdom and knowledge that will guide us through this Valley of death 🙏 Father, let not this Abuse of our justice system put fear in us and give us the feeling of hopelessness. So, let Your thoughts be our thoughts that give us confidence and courage to stand on Your Word when adversity comes. Lord, we pray for all suffering because of greed and hate of others, comfort them, and serve justice to those responsible. In Jesus' name Amen 

WE ARE REGRESSING

2 Peter 2:20 For if they have escaped the world's defilements through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.

The pandemic is one of the most significant setbacks in history. The war in Ukraine is a massive tragedy for the entire world. The damage from climate change is already worse than predicted. WE have taken a giant step backward for gender equality and women's health. We are more intelligent and lazier; we're home more and spend less time talking to each other. Technology has taken over family time; no one eats at the table; everyone is in their rooms. So what's happening to the world, we ask. Could it be "we are the victim of false teaching; we have been reformed but not transformed."

Father, so much is happening in the world today that goes against Your Word because so many believers are being reformed but not transformed. We are born again through a partial knowledge of Christ and His Spiritual principles, which so many have not received. So, help us turn from our sinful nature to moral cleansing. Lord, let us not come under the influence of this world but walk in Your ways through this Valley of death. Father, we have taken You out of our everyday surroundings, so we have begun to sink, and nothing is holding Satan back. So, we who are called by Your name come to You with clean hearts and opened minds for You to intervene in the Holy name of Jesus. You're the only one that can fix this broken world, so please renew our strength and courage. Increase our faith and understanding 🙏 let our actions encourage others to receive You and walk in Your ways, so we can turn it around right now in the name of Jesus Amen. 

WE ALL NEED PROTECTION

Proverbs 2:11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.

Rest knowing that no matter what, Hardship, betrayal, or grief we face, God is our provider and protector! He will never give us more than we can handle. But, we must use discretion to protect us and let our understanding guide us.

Father, we pray for protection as we walk through this Valley of death and darkness. Lord, You are our hiding place, so under Your wings, we take refuge. Lord, protect us from every evil force and Spirit around us. Give us eyes that keep us vigilant of our surroundings, and let not the negative impact of our emotions overcome us. Protect us in our comings and goings and keep us focused on You in Jesus' name. Amen 🙏 

PRAY FOR EACH OTHER

James 5 says, "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. We must pray for our families and friends daily. Also, Encourage family prayer, and in time we will become more comfortable lifting our voices to God in prayer. God has revealed His character, law, wisdom, grace, and redemptive purposes. And He tells us prayer and faith are how He can do miracles in our hearts. Through prayer, He can align our lives with His vision and plans.

Father, we pray for all that is Spiritually blind; give them eyes that see and ears that hear Your Word. Open their hearts and minds and remove all that separates them from You. Lord, we pray for healing Spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically healing 🙏 in Jesus' name. Lord, let us not just be of lip service but Spiritually inward-changed men and women who walk by faith, not by sight. So, hold our hands as we walk through this Valley of death and let us feel Your presence. Lord, we ask that You keep a hedge of protection around our children and our children's children covered them in the Blood from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet as well as our families, friends, and enemies. Lord, we pray for this lost world and the people and politicians destroying it. Lord, we pray for wisdom and knowledge of how to implement You in our daily lives and to shine Your light on others. Lord, let prayer set the tone of our day and ease the frustration of our day-to-day struggles; in Jesus' name Amen. 

WHEN OUR SPIRITS ARE THIRTY TAKE A DRINK

John 4:13-14 Jesus said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water I shall give them will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

"If anyone thirsts" God invites us to come to Him, not the pastor, Church building, or the water to be Baptist. He said "Let him come to Me, that's the only way we can quench our thirst is through Him.

Father, fill us with the Holy Spirit to give us the readiness to show appreciation for You and kindness to others. Lord, let us drink of You every day all day like we fill our bodies with water. Lord, search our hearts and minds and remove all that separates us from You. Lord, supply our needs and let us receive rivers of blessings and bless others with the overflow.  Lord, we are indwelling with the Holy Spirit, let us not keep it to ourselves. But, shine through our faith and actions for all to see and lead to You. Lord, thank You, for saving us and giving us a sense of wholeness and purpose while we walk through this Valley of death. Thank You for the living Water that keeps us hydrated with the Spirit, and gives us love, peace, and the truth that helps us navigate through this lost world. In Jesus' name Amen

HE SAID NO DIVISION

God says no division because if His followers came together, there would be no stopping us. We all read the exact Words in every Bible "no division." But, we let religion, politics, and race divide God's people.

He said, "NO DIVISION." "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive."
BUT. NO ONE, not even the Church, is acting on His Word. Because if we followed Him, there would be NO DIVISION AMONG US "HIS PEOPLE."

Father. Let the Word unite us as one nation, so we will act as one and see each other as the same. Give us eyes that see us living together in perfect peace and harmony. Lord, You said if Your people who are called by Your name come together in prayer, You would answer our petition. Lord, we pray for unity that overcomes hate and division among Your children. Lord, help us act with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience toward one another, living in unity with You and each other. Father, help us lay down our differences, set aside our grievances and forgive each other as you forgave us. Lord, Intervene in our division based on culture, race, envy, or misunderstanding. Baptize us in the Holy Spirit that empowers us to change our behavior and help unite. Father, keep us focused on our shared status as Your children, so we can join together over what we have in common and not fracture over how we differ. In Jesus' name Amen 🙏

WE CAN LIVE IN THE LIGHT EVENTHOUGH IT'S DARK

 This world has been dark for centuries, but we can live in His marvelous light. When we accept Christ as Savior and walk in righteousness. The Word is the wisdom that transforms us into what God created for His purpose. Our spiritual transformation helps us strive to be more Christ-like in character. This will renew our hearts and minds, which Christ made possible by dying the death we deserved and offering us the life He lived through faith.

"We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, so that we may proclaim the mighty acts of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.'

Lord, You said, "Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for Yourske will find it." So, help us dedicate our lives to ensure You will protect and guide us in our times of need and provide salvation. Father, Your promise gives us life and comfort in our affliction. So, let Your Word fill us with holiness, goodness, wisdom, knowledge, hope, grace, and God's revelation for our lives. Father, give us eyes that fill our hearts and Souls with Your light for all to see, and never let our eyes see evil. Lord, You are the world's light, so we follow You and never walk in darkness. Lord, grant us humility and let Your light shine through the cracks and broken pieces of our lives, so we can be made whole in Jesus' name, Amen.

 

PRAY FOR SOMEONE IN YOUR STORM

Pray for someone when you're going through the storm and watch God move in your life. Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. You will not be burned when you walk through the fire; the flames will not set you ablaze." When the storm comes, let His Word remind us that even when the storms are significant, we can seek shelter and comfort in His promise. So do not worry about anything because our problems are already being worked on behind the scenes. So pray for someone else that doesn't know this to help them weather the storm. Lord, save us! We're going to drown!" "You of little faith, why are we so afraid?" When God has got up and rebuked the winds and the waves so many times before, He's always with us, so focus on helping someone else, and He will completely calm our storm.

Lord, we come to You praying for those in the middle of a storm. Father, walk with them through this Valley of death; hold their hands so they too can feel Your presence 🙏. Lord, touch their hearts and minds with the Holy Spirit that empowers them and strengthens their faith ❤️. Lord, do not let the waves of the world crash into them and rebuke the wind that may carry them away. Let their minds be steadfast and in perfect peace as the storm passes. Lord, You never said this walk would be easy, but You promised You are more significant than any storm we face. So, we trust that You are working for our good; even though we cannot see or understand, we trust You, in Jesus' name Amen. 

WE ARE NO LONGER OLD

Don't let your mistakes be a ball and chain around your neck. Don't let those that relive your past keep you from moving forward. Instead, start to see yourself from Jesus' perspective, and you will see how great He is in you.

Isaiah 43:18 -19 says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Lord, let our studies reveal Your will for our lives. Let Your Word crush our sinful nature and make us aware that You are entirely in control. Father, You brought us through the Red Sea, and we have faith that You will carry us through whatever we ask 🙏 in Jesus' name. Lord, You have paved roads in the desert for us, and we are so grateful 🙏. So give us eyes that see our path even when it's dark and ears that hear Your instructions around the obstacles ahead of us. Father, let our faith comfort us in this Valley of death and give us the strength to endure suffering because it's only for a little while. Lord, chastise our enemies and oppressors, pour Your wrath upon them, and serve justice on those that kill and destroy the innocent lives. Father, search our hearts and remove all smoldering resentment, violent passions, rage, insulting language, spite, and unforgiveness from us, to give You room to move in our lives ❤️. To provide us with unselfish concern for the well-being of others even in times of personal sacrifice. Give us strength and courage to carry the burden of our brothers and sisters without complaining and a readiness to forgive. In Jesus' name Amen

SOMETIMES GOD ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS FOR OTHERS BY CHANGING US

Proverbs 21:2 Every man's way is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.

Sometimes we miss our blessings because we're looking for God to change the person we're praying for, but God is actually changing us, and sometimes we can't see. But, because He is faithful, He still delivers us from harm; even though we missed it, He continues to work in our lives. God always starts the change with us because we see others' faults but miss our own.

Lord, forgive us for passing judgment on others instead of praying for them and ourselves. Because we are not valid judges of our own lives, we cannot examine the hearts of others to pass fair judgment. Lord, we pray that You anoint our heads with blessings and make Your face shine upon us, Lord Jesus. Pour out Your Spirit on me, and let us dwell with You in Your house every day of our lives. Bless all our days on this earth, and bless all of our comings and goings. In Your precious name, we pray, Amen.

ADDICTIONS GRIEF & SICKNESS GIVE IT TO GOD

Matthew 6:13 - And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever.

Through prayer and faith, we connect with our Lord; when we are connected, we are healthier and happier people. Our connection to our Savior also changes our thoughts and patterns, like letting go of our old lifestyle for a new one. Studying His Word will also give us guidance and answers to life's questions. So, if there's something or someone destructive in our lives, call on our Father for help. He'll remove it. His Word reminds us that He will never put something in our path that we cannot overcome. He will never give us a great temptation that we cannot recover from with the help He has made available to us. God can cure addictions, sickness, and diseases; all we have to do is believe He can and will.

Lord, we acknowledge and face the reality that we have turned to something to fulfill us in ways it never could. So, we seek hope and help from You to heal us. Heal us from failing health, addiction, grief, betrayal, losing a job, or whatever has enslaved us; we ask You to bind and loose us from it, right now in the name of Jesus. Father, thank You for grace, bringing salvation to all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives. Thank You that no temptation that is not common to man has overtaken us. Thank You for being faithful, not letting us be tempted beyond our ability, and providing a way of escape, so we may be able to endure it. Lord, we offer You this prayer in faith heal us, in Jesus' name Amen. 

DON'T GIVE UP ON YOU

Blessed are those who remain steadfast under trial, for when we have stood the test, we will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.

God does not give up on us; we give up on ourselves. We all have those moments when we want to give up. Especially when we are Spiritually and mentally drained or not seeing the results we want. We become weary of doing good; this is why we must implement Him in every part of our lives. Because at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we stay strong in faith and stand on His Word. Also, remember that good things take a lot of work.

Father, let us be strong in faith and not give up when we are weak, so our work will be rewarded. Give us strength when we are weary and increase Your power in us. Lord, we all grow tired and weary sometimes, hold us with Your right hand and let us not stumble and fall. Lord, all our faith is in You, so please renew our strength daily. Father, let our trust in You, give us wings like eagles; so we can soar through this Valley of death. Give us Your courage to help us run and not grow weary. Lord, keep us steadfast, immovable, always abounding in Your work, knowing that in You, our labor is not in vain. Lord, please give us patience when we're anxious, love when we feel forsaken, clarity when we're confused, wisdom when we feel foolish, comfort when we are alone, hope in the storm, and peace in turmoil. In Jesus' name Amen

WE MUST HELP GOD'S PEOPLE

Matthew 24 45-47 "Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 

A faithful and wise servant cares for God's people, which is a great responsibility, but so are the rewards. We manifest the true character of Christ through our faith and behavior. Caring for the least of us demonstrates that we are ready to serve the Kingdom the way Christ would.

Father, there is so much that we don't understand; why the wicked go through life seemingly with ease and little trouble and others seem to be born with trouble that never ends. Lord, let us know that some of the problems we seek to avoid are what bring us to You and strengthen our faith. Which Keeps our hearts humble and compassionate toward those undervalued by the world's standards. Father, let us put ourselves in their place to help identify with their struggles and feel a deep hurt they experience when looked down upon and rejected by others. Let us be that ray of light, Your tender arm of compassion, Your gentle voice of acceptance and unconditional love, in Jesus' name Amen.
