CHILDLIKE FAITH

It still amazes me when little children show us how resourceful they can be because they have no fear.  They don't need a reason or explanations of who, what, or why; they just follow and explore.  We believe in God because the seed is planted at birth.  Our understanding of God and how our character develops depends on how we nourish our hearts and minds. When we feed our minds with the Word of God, it fills our hearts with the Spirit.  This will help give us guidance and protection as we walk through this Vally of Death.  To walk with Christ, we need childlike faith, the kind of faith that does not seek an explanation.

Matthew 18 Jesus called a little child to Him and put the child among them.  Then He said,  I tell you, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Lord, give us childlike faith so we can bear the cross we must carry.  Lord, help us understand that there is no crown without the cross, and without the crown of thorns, there is no glory. So, let us not question our faith or wonder if what we believe is true, so help us serve our purpose and stand on Your Word.  Father, You said to ask, and we shall receive, seek, and we shall find, knock, and You will open the door. Please strengthen our faith and help us with our unbeliefs, so we will follow You without fear or doubt. Lord, thank You for forgiveness and teaching us how to forgive and set us free. Lord, let Your thoughts be our thoughts to give us blinding faith that does not require logic or reason.  In Jesus' name Amen.
