King Jesus, why did You choose me
a lowly unimportant person to bear You in my World today? I'm poor and insignificant, trained to work, not carry Kings, let alone the King of Kings, and yet you've chosen me to take You in triumph in this world parade.
Lord, we choose to bear the cross daily for You, as You decided to carry the pain of our sins, so we will Spread the News, about Your goodness, to those with no hope. Father, You chose us lowly unimportant people to bear You to the World, to those that need to hear. Father, give us ears that hear Your voice, and give us eyes that see Your plan for our lives; so we will walk in Your will and not our will. Father, forgive us for not uniting as Christians should when Your Word or authority is threatened. So, forgive us for taking You out of our schools; now, our children have no protection while they learn. Forgive us for taking You out of our children's and our grandchildren's lives by not teaching them Your Word at home; when they were young. Then, father, they would have protection, guidance, love, unity, and faith, so they will not get lost in this dark World and return home. Father, bring us back to You, teach us to come together as our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents did, to raise our children in the Word so they will have Salvation. Father, we come to You because You chose us; help us be the person You see, so we may serve Your purpose in life and receive Your promise. In Jesus' name Amen.
