JESUS CHOSE US TO CARRY THE CROSS

Jesus chose us to teach His Word to the next generation and the next, not because of the social or professional title we carry in the World; He chose us because we have Him in our hearts. When we accept Jesus into our hearts,  a spiritual change is brought about in our lives; through the act of God, which enables us to respond to God in faith. Then, He will help us develop  Fruit while using us to help build His kingdom and lift each other up.

Joseph Bayley wrote

King Jesus, why did You choose a lowly ass to carry You
to ride in Your parade? Had You no friend who owned a horse of a royal mount spirit
fit for a King to ride?
King Jesus, why did You choose me
a lowly unimportant person to bear You in my World today? I'm poor and insignificant, trained to work, not carry Kings, let alone the King of Kings, and yet you've chosen me to take You in triumph in this world parade.

Lord, we choose to bear the cross daily for You, as You decided to carry the pain of our sins, so we will Spread the News, about Your goodness, to those with no hope. Father, You chose us lowly unimportant people to bear You to the World, to those that need to hear. Father, give us ears that hear Your voice, and give us eyes that see Your plan for our lives; so we will walk in Your will and not our will. Father, forgive us for not uniting as Christians should when Your Word or authority is threatened. So, forgive us for taking You out of our schools; now, our children have no protection while they learn. Forgive us for taking You out of our children's and our grandchildren's lives by not teaching them Your Word at home; when they were young. Then, father, they would have protection, guidance, love, unity, and faith, so they will not get lost in this dark World and return home. Father, bring us back to You, teach us to come together as our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents did, to raise our children in the Word so they will have Salvation. Father, we come to You because You chose us; help us be the person You see, so we may serve Your purpose in life and receive Your promise. In Jesus' name Amen.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

We are at war daily with the flesh and the Spirit; the two warring powers of God and Satan, and God will be victorious. However, these two forces are not equal in strength; God is more potent than Satan; Satan only continues his scheming plots because God permits him to do so.  God has the power to make us choose Him, but He gave us free will to show the Devil; He is still in control of what He created.  Of course, some will choose to live in darkness; but, they too can turn away from sin and be restored to God through Salvation.  But those that refuse to walk in the light will perish with Satan in the final battle, where Satan and his followers will be destroyed.  But the time is near; we have to choose who we will stand with, God or Satan.

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are ended,  Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth,  Gog, and Magog,  to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.  But fire came down from heaven and consumed them, 10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Father, You gave us free will to choose You or the world; Lord, we want You, but sometimes we need Your to help walk with You.  Lord, strengthen us in our times of weakness so that we may stand on Your Word; and rebuke the Devil and his plan of destruction.   Father, thank You for guiding us out of the pit of darkness into Your light, where we have been restored to our rightful owner.  Thank You, Lord, for bearing our sins on the cross; so we could control our sinful nature.  Lord, through Your death and resurrection, we have power over Satan and corruption; thank You for grace, mercy, and Salvation.  Father, give us a strong desire for the Word; so we can fight this daily battle until Your return.  Lord, thank You for regeneration, which has changed our lives and enabled us to respond to You and others with kindness and love.  Lord, strengthen our faith and help us develop Fruit to be more Christ-like in our Spiritual journey.  Father, forgive us for falling short of Your mercy, grace, and favor, and give us the strength to forgive others in Jesus' name. Amen.

GOD APPEAL TO ALL HIS PEOPLE

Most of us will not come together because of skin color, beliefs, or religion, but one thing gives us unity: Christ.  Christ has united us with so many people from all walks of life because we believe in Him.  Believers love all people, even those not like us, people who do not believe what we believe; we even have a passion for our enemies (with understanding).  God calls his people to live in unity, so it is crucial to make every effort to live together in harmony with other fellow believers.  If we love God like we say we do, then living in unity with other believers should come easy; because God is love, and whoever believes in Him walks in love with His people.

1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.  Ephesians 4:11-13 So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers; 12 to equip His people for works of service.  So the body of Christ may be built up; 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. "All of God's people love each other and work in unity to build up His Kingdom and each other."

Father, Your Word tells us to bear with each other and forgive one another; and if any of us have a grievance against anyone, forgive them as You have forgiven us.  Lord, give us Your strength because we cannot accomplish the forgiveness of those who have wronged us on our own.  Lord, You are the Father of all people; you created us all, so why do we hate our brothers and sisters? Please fill us with Your Spirit of love so that we can love each other.  Lord, we are Your chosen people, a Holy Nation of believers; Your possession, Lord, we proclaim the excellence of You.  Thank You for leading us out of our dark past; into You marvelous light so You can use us to build up Your Kingdom and work in unity with all people. In Jesus' name, we pray Amen.
Exodus 6:7  Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

LET US PRAY FOR OUR CHILDREN

Proverbs 22:6  Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Ephesians 6:4  Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.  Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words that I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

Father, to You, we lift up our children and our souls to You; in You, we put our trust.  Lord, do not let us not bring shame to Your name, and ourselves; do not let Satan and this dark world triumph over us.  Father, no one with Hope and faith in You will perish, our Spirit’s will live on in Your Kingdom.  Teach us how to save our children, help us teach them Your ways.   Lord, guide our children and our children’s children to Your path; keep Your hedge of protection around them, please order their steps.  Let us teach and guide them the right way to go through Your Word, as our parents and grandparents taught us.  Lord, fill them with Hope and let them not grow weary of doing good.  Father, let them feel Your presence so they will know You are our Savior, and our Hope is in You.  Lord, You have been waiting so long for us; now Lord, we wait for You.  Thank You, for forgiving our past, and our rebellious ways; thank You, for teaching us how to walk with You, in Spirit and in Truth.  Now, Lord, we ask You to help us, guide our children to Your path; as we were guided to Your path, give them protection and guidance as You mercy gave us.   Lord, give our children discernment so they will not be lead into darkness; and give them a desire for the things of the Spirit, and not the things of this world. Lord, we thank You, for instructing us to Your path; let Your light in us and our actions, lead others to You, “especially our children”. In Jesus name Amen

ONE LOVE, ONE RACE, ONE FAITH

Malachi 2:10 "Do we, not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother to profane the covenant of our fathers?

Most of us cannot come together because of skin color, beliefs, or religion, but one thing gives us unity: Christ.  We love people who are not like us, people who do not believe what we believe; we even have a passion for our enemies (with understanding).  God wants us to have one heart and one faith, and that faith will have great rewards.  Christians who never stop believing and acting on the Word of God will sit at Christ's feet; because our faithfulness has not gone unnoticed.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. So Luke 16:10 those who are faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

Father, thank You for Your grace, the grace that allowed Christ to come into splendor so that we may be saved.  Lord, let us not claim You and not obey Your instructions and principles.  Father, nothing is as exciting as Your love, a love that changes our entire being and gives us joy and peace.  The peace is more than the absence of war; it is a wave of peace that comes with the presence of Christ.  Father, let us come together in unity, love, and one faith; because we are one race, a race that has proclaimed the excellence of You, who has called us out of darkness into Your light.  Lord, help us obey Your voice and keep Your covenant because we are Your children and Your servants.  Father, give us Your strength to be faithful even to the point of death so we will receive the crown of life, in Jesus name we pray, Amen

SERVANTS OF GOD

Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will, therefore, put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth, for example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

There will always be those who are guilty of willfully living in sin; but we are not to judge them, God alone is the judge of all people.  Those that willfully live in sin pollute their bodies, not ours and will answer to God.  So it may seem that they are getting away with sin, but they’re not.  We must remember that our sins and punishment can be carried over to the next generation, so just because we lived our lives without paying the price, our children and our children’s children will suffer.

Lord, help us understand that the only way to be forgiven is to receive Christ as our Savior; and be submissive to Your instructions on life, and not our will.  Lord, give us the tools we need to triumph over falsehood and live up to the moral standards, with which we have been entrusted.  Father, give us discernment, so we are not misled by false teachings.  Lord, give us patience as we build a Holy life, through our faith and studying Your Word.  Father, continue working in and through us; so we will become so much like Jesus that, we will be indistinguishable from Him.  Lord, thank You, for presenting us faultless before Your throne, through the death of Christ. Lord, help us stand true so that we may honor His death; through our faith and actions, so Your goodness will not elude us, in Jesus name we pray, Amen

LET US PRAY FOR OUR MOTHERS

Proverbs 6:20-22 "My son, keep your father's command and do not forsake your Mother's teaching.  Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck.  When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you."

Father, thank You for the gift of a Mother, Lord, let us reflect the unselfish love that our Mothers gives us; by showing love to others.  Lord, a Mothers's passion is evident in the peace and joy reigning in our homes and lives.   Father, grant them Your mercy, grace, and favor; honor their place in Your sacred design, of healing the world, one child at a time.  Lord, her bosom is a place of generosity, understanding, forgiveness, and comfort, just as it is in Your Kingdom.  Father, give all Mothers the strength and courage to witness Your eternal design for the family; as You guide their path to righteousness.  Father, help all Mothers teach their children Your wisdom, knowledge, and Your faithful instructions; as She watches over the household's affairs and her children.  Lord, You formed our inward parts, You wove us in our Mother's womb, Father, let us not forsake our Mother's teaching; because they are a graceful crown of our head, and ornaments around our necks. "God bless the Mother who reads and sings to her children, peaceful and calm, her words soft and mild.  God Bless the Mothers awake in the night, rocking their baby 'til morning light.  Lord, gather all Mothers in a tender embrace, as You strengthen their faith and take all their burdens away, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

ANGER OR HOSTILE ATTITUDE

When we see an angry or hostile attitude displayed, we can show the heart of the Lord by responding in a peaceful manner.  Anger and hostility can be the most intense, destructive, and unhealthy emotions that we can experience.  Our peaceful action will demonstrate the attitude of our Savior to a world filled with growing belligerence; because one second of anger could cost us a lifetime of grief, and there will be nothing we can do to correct, what a moment of anger caused.  The stress from Anger will cause us to become sick, as anger eats away at our hearts; put anger to rest with the Word of God.  Do not add weight to the cross were carrying, with Anger, let the Word bring us peace.

Psalms 37:8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!  Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.  Proverbs 29:22 A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes many transgressions

Father, help us turn the other cheek when the pressures of everyday life rise and we are unable to balance our emotions.  Lord, You know our hearts, teach us how to look to You when we are disappointed and filled with wrath.  Father, Your love can overcome any problems we face and show us that a gentle hug, a kind word, is all we need to reset our emotion and remain calm.  Lord, help us remember Scripture that will give us the strength to stay calm, and focused on You.  Father, we know it is You who examines our hearts, so expose anything that is not of You; so we can be set free of anger and replace it with Your love, kindness, gentleness, and joy.  We pray to You in Jesus name Amen

JESUS CAME AS A SERVANT

The less fortunate requires our service, but, we need to offer our service with a smile that comes from our inner Soul.  We should never offer our service resentfully, we should.  “Philippians 2:5-7 “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.”  Unless we offer our service with kindness and gentleness like Christ do, our offering will fall short.  Kindness and gentleness take away the hesitant edge of fear from those we want to help.

When we feed the least of them we feed our Lord, so if they are thirsty give the Lord a drink; if they are strangers welcome Him in your home.  If they are naked, clothe Him, when they are sick visit Him.  Jesus said that when we help the least of them, we are not merely serving other people, we are serving our Lord.

Father, You came to give first place to the last, those left behind, misunderstood and undervalued.  Lord, we thank You for helping the lost, the orphaned, abandoned and destitute. Lord, when we see You hungry, we will feed You, when we see You thirsty we will give You drink.   Father, we know if we do not do for the least of them; we did not do for You.  Father, we have been redeemed, and we are eager to do what’s right; especially extending our hands to help fellow believers in dangerous situations.  Lord, You have always been concerned with the poor and the needy, and You expect us to do the same.  Father, we are grateful to be able to serve You, in Your time of need through helping the poor, You came to give honor to the forgotten and overlooked, so let us be the light that leads them to You, Jesus name, Amen

HUMBLE VIEW OF SELF-IMPORTANCE

Self-denial should not be a problem for Christ-followers because He willingly denied Himself and took upon Himself the position of a servant, and then died on a cross of shame so that we could live.   So we should value others above ourselves, not looking at our own needs but the needs of others. The Lord is not telling us we do not take care of our needs but help those around us in need.  Once we have a humble view of self-importance, we see the needs of others.  When we give of ourselves freely to the needs of others, we are serving God, and our blessings will overflow.   Humility gives us joy and explainable joy that comes when you put someone else’s needs ahead of your own.  But, God also tells us, “Phil 2:3-4 Do nothing out of self-ambition or vain conceit. Instead, in humility, value others above yourselves, not looking to your own needs but to the needs of others.  Not for photo apps, campaign strategies, or movies, just because they need help.

Father, let us not value people for what we can get from them; let us focus on what we can do for others.  Lord, let us feel the joy that comes from putting someone else needs ahead of our own.  Lord, let our love for You be displayed through our kind, gentle, and compassionate ways to others.   Father, let us not focus on the material things that give us no meaning, keep us in debt, and then pass away, but instead on the things of the spirit that will go on for eternity.  Father, let us have the same mindset as Christ, so we will treat others as Christ treats us.  Father, help us encourage the Souls that are walking in darkness to come towards Your light; so they can receive love, hope, joy, and unexplainable peace.  Father, we bow, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, Amen.

PROCLAIM CHRIST

Sometimes we can be so busy with our lives that we forget the purpose behind them.  Exodus 9:16 "But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."  "from generation to generation."

We love You, Lord, and we thank You for all You do and help us lay our flesh to rest. Lord, our flesh naturally puts itself first and does everything it can to honor itself; please give us the strength and courage to stand on Your Word and do Your will.  Lord, strengthen our faith as we study Your Word; communicate with You daily through prayer, worship, praise, and spreading the Good News.  Lord, You programmed us with Your moral code; before we were born, Father, fill us with the Holy Spirit, so we will have the power to use Your wisdom and knowledge daily.  Lord, help us teach our children and their children who You are so we do not lose them to darkness.  Father, engrave Your moral code in the hearts of our children; so the Word will evaluate every opportunity, thought, invitation, and deed in our children, through Your will not theirs.  Thank You for opening Your Kingdom to Your unworthy servants,  help us show mercy to others, as You have demonstrated to us.  Lord, teach us self-denial and remove all pride so we can be used to lift up others and build up Your Kingdom. Lord, thank You for all Your blessings, and help us understand too much is given; much is required.  Lord, touch the hearts of all people who contact our children with kindness, gentleness, and compassion.  Father, keep them covered in the Blood, from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet.  Father, draw us back to You; we are crying out, save our children, and Your world, from walking in darkness, as You have saved us.  Father, forgive us for falling short of Your mercy, grace, and favor, and forgive us for dropping the ball, with passing Your Word to the next generation, as we should.   Father, continue working in and through us as we serve Your purpose, and live in Your plan for our life, in Jesus name, Amen

STUDY AND PRAY WITH YOUR FAMILY

It is amazing how God's words come together and speak to us.  When we study and meditate on His word, great things happen. When we put scriptures together, we are communicating with our Lord, in His will through His Word

1Pet 4:10..........As each one has received a gift, let him minister it,   Phil 2:4.............looking out for the interests of others. 1Pet 1:22..........Let us all fervently love one another with a pure heart,  2Jn 1:8.............so that we do not lose the things we have worked for. 1Pet 4:7............Let us become serious and watchful in our prayers, Eph 5:16...........redeeming the time, for the days are evil. Heb 12:1...........Running with endurance the race that is set before us, Col 3:2.............setting our minds on things above and not on things on the earth. Phil 3:14...........But pressing toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God. Eph 6:11...........Putting on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the devil.  Acts 4:29..........That we will speak forth Your Word with great boldness Acts 4:30..........and that You will stretch forth Your hand to heal, Acts 4:30..........that signs and wonders may be done in the name of Your Son Jesus.  Amen

Isaiah 59:21 "As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the LORD: "My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring's offspring," says the LORD, "from now and forever."

THIS POEM WAS WRITTEN FOR MY MOTHER

MOM
You were a wonderful mother, so gentle, yet so strong. The many ways you showed you cared, always made us feel so warm.  You were patient when we were foolish; you gave us strength when we were not strong; it seems you could do most anything, and You never left us alone you were a dependable source of comfort; you were our cushion when we would fall. You helped in times of trouble; you supported us through it all. I love you more than you’ll ever know; you have my total respect.  You have taken care of so many  Now this is your time to rest You have been there for the whole family, you truly have no regrets. If I had my choice of Mothers, you’d still be the one I'd select!  This poem is from the heart. A heart that will never forget, the heart  Of your daughter Rose.

You can shed tears that she’s gone, or you can smile because she’s at peace.  You can close your eyes, and pray that she’ll come back,   Or you can open your eyes, and see all she left.  Your heart can be empty, because you can’t see her, or you can be full of the love you shared with her.  You can remember that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let her live on.  Or just do what she would want, smile open your eyes, love and go on

If your Mother is still with you, call her up and tell her how much you appreciate her; do not wait until Mother's Day, call her today and everyday to tell her how much you love her.

I wrote this poem for my mother after she could not hear me in the flesh read it

Close To You

GOD REVEALS HIS PLAN TO US THROUGH HIS WORD AND HIS SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 2:10 God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person's thoughts except for their Spirit within them? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words led by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught. 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for, "Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

As we study and hear the Word, we become mature and think like Christ.  The transforming power of the Word opens our hearts and minds to the things of the Spirit, and this gives us wisdom, knowledge, and freedom from the flesh, as it reveals to us God's plan for our lives.

Lord, when we think of what and who we were when we were called, it saddens our hearts; we were wise by the standards of the world, which kept us in darkness.  But Father, You chose us even though we were foolish thick-neck sinners.  Lord, You chose us when we were weak and lowly; so no one can boast about their lives; it is because of Christ that we are His people.  Father, Your Son, is our connection to You, who makes us holy and gives us redemption.  Father, we were infants in the world, but now we are Soldiers, filled with Your wisdom and knowledge, prepared to do good works in Your Kingdom and serve others.  Father, let not our Spiritual Leaders narrow their teachings to the people's comfort zone; but, preach the Word as it is written, so that the people will receive conviction and correction of their sins.  Lord, the works You have prepared us for will be revealed to us by Your Spirit, giving us a strong desire for Your Word, which teaches and rebukes us so that You may work in and through us.  In Jesus name Amen

HOPE = Helping Ourselves Prepare for Eternity

Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Everyone needs to be reminded from time to time about the hope that God’s Word offers us.  When we study the Word daily, we learn Who Jesus is; and what He can do for us, if we believe, and stand on His Word with faith.  Jesus is our hope and way of life, and our way of life; is not just to make ourselves comfortable, it is something more.  We were created in Christ for good works; God had prepared a plan for our lives before we were born.  Our way of life is to serve, just as Jesus served us.  Doing good works, helping the least of us, forgiveness, loving each other, and serving God; this is our way of life.  God, gave Noah, his family, the animals, and the livestock hope of a better life; when He allowed them to live through a flood that destroyed the world as they knew it, and if we have faith in His promise, we too will have a hope of a better life, eternal life.

We pray that the root of hope fill all people with joy, peace, happiness, and love, Father, let the Holy Spirit overflow us with hope, love, understanding, and obedience.  Father, you said those who are wise should shine like the brightness of the firmament.  Lord, we ask that You allow this light to shine on our children and give them hope so that You can turn our children to righteousness.  Lord, You have called and empowered us to pursue a life that reaches out to others and honor You; we are no longer dead in transgressions and sins because You live in us and we live through You.  Lord, thank You, for saving us from the lives we use to live; when we followed the ways of the world, now Lord, we carry our cross for You.  Father, give us hope and equip us with the tools we need for our good works; as You prepare a place for us in Your Kingdom.  Lord, today let us give hope of a better life to someone who needs to or wants to receive You, in Jesus name, Amen

THE BLOOD STILL WORKS

Our children are raised with material values, so there being raised without the Fruit of the Spirit.   We were built on the love of God, the teachings of His Word and the prayers of our parents and grandparents; but we have dropped the ball, we have taken Him OUT of our children’s lives.  If we want to save our children, then we need to introduce them to our Lord, this is the only way.  It worked for me, and it works for you, so if it saved us; what make us think, the BLOOD has lost IT’S POWER.   How can we study God’s Word and miss raising our children in the Word is useful “(2 Timothy 3:16-17 for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  Why do we let them go unprotected, by not studying or praying with our children, and our children’s, children, family, friends, and through the love of God our enemies?   We are to (Proverbs 22:6 direct our children and others on to the right path)”, by letting His light shine through our testimonies and actions.

We need The Word put back in our children and our children’s, children lives, the more we hear the Word, the strong our desire becomes.  We heard the Word daily, as children; in our schools, at home, in Church, Sunday school on TV and at work.  We should teach our children, that it’s not what you wear or who you are; it’s the Spiritual character of Christ that makes them somebody.  Teach them that they cannot find peace in clothes, a car, a career, marriage, material possessions, or money; the only thing that gives us peace is Christ.   THE BLOOD STILL WORK, BUT WE MUST USE IT.

Good morning, Lord, thank You for another day in our right mind, Heath, and strength.  Lord, we are interceding on behalf of our children, our children’s children, family, friends, and others.  Father, we ask for healing where there is sickness; we ask for strength for those that grow weary, and we pray for those that are lost, let Your will be done in their lives.  Father, You know them name, by name; and need by need, bless them according to Your will.  Father, give them the desire for Your Word, as You did for us; and let Your Word give them power over their flesh, and keep them in the Spirit more than the sin.  Father, help us teach them that we cannot willfully live in sin; and be saved, and we cannot change the Word, we must change our action.  Father, thank You, for understanding, wisdom, and knowledge of Your Word; and we will implement Your teachings into our lives, and the lives of others.  Lord, we need You to intervene in every situation of lives and this lost world right now, in Jesus name; help us draw near to You,  Amen

WHAT HAS JESUS DONE FOR YOU

Mark 5:14 Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. 15 When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. 16 Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man—and told about the pigs as well. 17 Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.  18 As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. 19 Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20 So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.

There are so many stories in the Bible about Jesus healing powers and supernatural acts of mercy; and we have so many stories about His healing powers and acts of mercies as well, that He wants us to tell others, about "what He has done for us". When Jesus healed the man with an evil Spirit, He told him to go home and tell others what the Lord, has done for him.   Are you one of the people that Jesus has healed or made whole, then you need to tell somebody; about who and what He is in you and who you are in Him.  We do not need to preach a sermon, teach a lesson, or have a long drawn out conversation;  all we need to do is share our story; with those who are sick and broken, so they too can receive Him and be healed and made whole.

Jesus, You are Lord of storms, adversity, and our adversary; Lord, You rebuke the winds, the rain, and darkness from our lives, and we are so grateful.  Father, You, have healed the blind, the sick, the lost, and You have transformed us into believers; although we are still sinners, we now have power over our flesh through Christ Jesus.  Lord, sometimes Your healing is instant, and sometimes healing takes times; the difference in the two is patience and our faith, so give us the Fruit of patience and strengthen our faith.  Lord, we thank you for the Fruit of kindness and gentleness that helps us love our neighbor as we love ourselves; and help the least of us, because what we do unto them we do unto You.  Father, thank You, for the Holy Spirit that helps us do Your will, and not lean on our own understanding; which sometimes leads us into dark places, please lead us back to Your path.  Father, let there be less of us, and more of You; so help us with self-denial and remove all pride so we can follow You, and not the trends of the world.  Lord, help us carry our cross daily; and let it be a  constant reminder of Your sacrifice and Your promise of eternal life, for our obedience.  Lord, we decree and declare we will tell our stories of what You have done for us, we will give our testimonies with Your courage as we stand on Your Word and speak the TRUTH.  Father, continue working in and through us and help develop the Fruit of the Spirit; so we can be more like Christ.  Father, we invite You into our hearts and minds, fill us with the desires of the Spirits, in Jesus name we pray, Amen
