WHAT HAS JESUS DONE FOR YOU

Mark 5:14 Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. 15 When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. 16 Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man—and told about the pigs as well. 17 Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.  18 As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. 19 Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20 So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.

There are so many stories in the Bible about Jesus healing powers and supernatural acts of mercy; and we have so many stories about His healing powers and acts of mercies as well, that He wants us to tell others, about "what He has done for us". When Jesus healed the man with an evil Spirit, He told him to go home and tell others what the Lord, has done for him.   Are you one of the people that Jesus has healed or made whole, then you need to tell somebody; about who and what He is in you and who you are in Him.  We do not need to preach a sermon, teach a lesson, or have a long drawn out conversation;  all we need to do is share our story; with those who are sick and broken, so they too can receive Him and be healed and made whole.

Jesus, You are Lord of storms, adversity, and our adversary; Lord, You rebuke the winds, the rain, and darkness from our lives, and we are so grateful.  Father, You, have healed the blind, the sick, the lost, and You have transformed us into believers; although we are still sinners, we now have power over our flesh through Christ Jesus.  Lord, sometimes Your healing is instant, and sometimes healing takes times; the difference in the two is patience and our faith, so give us the Fruit of patience and strengthen our faith.  Lord, we thank you for the Fruit of kindness and gentleness that helps us love our neighbor as we love ourselves; and help the least of us, because what we do unto them we do unto You.  Father, thank You, for the Holy Spirit that helps us do Your will, and not lean on our own understanding; which sometimes leads us into dark places, please lead us back to Your path.  Father, let there be less of us, and more of You; so help us with self-denial and remove all pride so we can follow You, and not the trends of the world.  Lord, help us carry our cross daily; and let it be a  constant reminder of Your sacrifice and Your promise of eternal life, for our obedience.  Lord, we decree and declare we will tell our stories of what You have done for us, we will give our testimonies with Your courage as we stand on Your Word and speak the TRUTH.  Father, continue working in and through us and help develop the Fruit of the Spirit; so we can be more like Christ.  Father, we invite You into our hearts and minds, fill us with the desires of the Spirits, in Jesus name we pray, Amen
