SERVANTS OF GOD

Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will, therefore, put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth, for example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

There will always be those who are guilty of willfully living in sin; but we are not to judge them, God alone is the judge of all people.  Those that willfully live in sin pollute their bodies, not ours and will answer to God.  So it may seem that they are getting away with sin, but they’re not.  We must remember that our sins and punishment can be carried over to the next generation, so just because we lived our lives without paying the price, our children and our children’s children will suffer.

Lord, help us understand that the only way to be forgiven is to receive Christ as our Savior; and be submissive to Your instructions on life, and not our will.  Lord, give us the tools we need to triumph over falsehood and live up to the moral standards, with which we have been entrusted.  Father, give us discernment, so we are not misled by false teachings.  Lord, give us patience as we build a Holy life, through our faith and studying Your Word.  Father, continue working in and through us; so we will become so much like Jesus that, we will be indistinguishable from Him.  Lord, thank You, for presenting us faultless before Your throne, through the death of Christ. Lord, help us stand true so that we may honor His death; through our faith and actions, so Your goodness will not elude us, in Jesus name we pray, Amen
