LET THE SPIRIT GOVERN OUR MINDS

Romans 8:6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

The unrenewed mind is unable to keep any of God's commandment fully, so we have to develop a renewed mind and we do this through study, prayer, witnessing, worship, praise and faith. After we receive Christ as our Savior, we begin our journeys and the Word is our guide Book. It has instructions on how to get through the Hills and Valleys. It explains how to raise our children and grandchildren and how to treat our friends and neighbors. It teaches us how to be better Stewart's, with His money and how to be the lender not the borrower, the head and not the tail. His Word and our practice of what we've learned with faith. Will help open our hearts up to receive His wisdom and knowledge, that produce Christ-like character and inward obedience. So, our minds will be governed by the Spirit, then we will have strength to deny ourselves, grow in grace and have peace.

Thank You, Lord for a new day, in our Spirit filled minds and in good health. Thank You, in advance for keeping us through this day. Lord, when we’re feeling the effects of our day to day struggles continue to strengthen our faith, so Your Spirit becomes mighty in us and give us courage to keep moving forward. Lord, we are made in Your image by our Spirits, so we surrender all to You, You are the Savior of our lives, help Your character grow in us. So, our thoughts, will be Your thoughts, and our ways will be Your way. Let, Your Word "all that is true" blaze a new path in our hearts, that breaks every strong hold, as we walk into the New. Continue blessing our children and our children's children, from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet and keep Your hedge of protection around them. Thank You, for the many opportunities You give us to repent and receive Your grace. Your grace that You give to us freely, let it humble us, as the Holy Spirit increase our patience, understanding of Your Word, as we practice what we have learned. In Jesus name Amen
