DEEPLY ROOTED IN THE WORD

When the roots of a tree are dry from lack of nourishment, the tree will not develop fruit and it will eventually die.   The same thing happens when we are not rooted in the Word of God, we receive no nourishment; so we do not develop fruit, and our soul's withers and die.  Just as we cut down dead trees that do not bear fruit; the Lord will punish those who fail to produce fruit, because there is no true repentance.  According to John and Jesus teachings fruit represent works that result from a miraculous inner transformation

Matthew 7:15-20 15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit, you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit, you will recognize them.

Father, thank You, for the sacrifice of Your only Son; so we could be baptized with the Holy Spirit that helps us bear fruit through inner transformation.  Lord, we understand the gate is small and the road is narrow that leads to true life; and we know only a few people will find that road, order our steps to Your path. Lord, let us be heavily rooted in the Word that gives us discernment so we will be careful not to get lost with false prophets.  Lord, fill our heart with the things of the Spirit so we will be deeply rooted in the Word, and  Eager to do good work. in Jesus name, Amen

Marvin Sapp - He Has His Hands On You

We are in great need of God’s hands on our life, family, church, communities, cities, and nation. The brokenness, darkness and lost condition of this generation seem only to worsen. Acts 1:8 is very clear that God will empower His people to be witnesses when they share the Gospel not only to Jerusalem and Judea but also Samaria and to the ends of the earth. The majority of God’s people, I believe, long for revival, long to be empowered by God the Spirit, and long to see the hand of God on their lives in such a way that it causes many to turn to Jesus in their community and city.

Jesus, forgive us when we have allowed race, preferences, politics, ideologies or anything else to hinder us from sharing Your Gospel message to all people. Father, help us to have Your love for all people no matter what and remove every obstacle that keeps us from sitting at Your feet.  Let, the Holy Spirit, empower us to be Your witnesses not only in our home, schools, jobs but to the ends of the earth. Lord, we desperately need revival and for Your hands to be upon our lives, families, churches, communities, cities, and our nation. Lord, let us see Your glory fall out all over our land. Father, however, You choose to use us, open our hearts and minds so we will submit.   Father, we just wanna say thank You for forgiveness, protection, guidance, and peace above all understanding! In Jesus name Amen!

FAST FOR GOD NOT TO BE SEEN BY MAN

Fasting is a period of time that we abstain from something important or desirable in our lives.  When we fast it brings us closer to God because we are reminded of God's sustaining powers, especially when we are weak.  Most time we fast from food because it is very challenging to abstain from something as essential as food.    But in today's society, we can fast from a wide variety of ways and things.  For example turning off our cell phones, TV's, computers, lotto, scratch offs or game devises.  Now fasting does not make God love us more than someone that does not fast,  but, fasting can be something very valuable in our Spiritual maturity.  Jesus tells us to fast in secret and not for show.  If we fast to be seen by men, then we already have our reward.  Is that all the reward you really want; to be seen by others!?  Why not fast and tell no one and allow God to reward you openly through blessings.

Father, let fasting unleash an Avalanche of Your Favor and Blessing into our Lives.  Lord, let our fasting be meaningful and not just something to do; let fasting draw us closer to You; who will help guide us through the inevitable pitfalls of life.  Lord, let our fasting aid in taming our tongues, strengthening our faith, and helping us with our unbelief.  Lord, we fast for Your forgiveness and to beseech You to restore us to the Father.  Lord, we fast for wisdom and the knowledge to implement You into our daily lives.  Lord, we acknowledge that You are our provider, our Sustainer, and our Keeper; Lord we thank You for grace, guidance, and protection, in Jesus name Amen

WE ARE NOT CONTROL BY THE FLESH BUT BY THE SPIRIT

Romans 8:9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) 10And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life Or your spirit is alive. because you have been made right with God. 11The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.  12 Therefore, dear brothers, and sisters, Greek brothers; also in you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. 13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, Greek deeds of the body. you will live. 14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children Greek sons; also in of God.

Lord, we are true children of God and we are lead by the Spirit and not by the flesh.  Yet, often when life pressures and stressful problems overwhelm us and hardships comes our way, our focused get blurred.  Father, we forget about we can always depend on You when we are off course from the road to righteousness.  Lord, when we receive the Spirit we are no longer a slave to sin, fear, and doubt.  Father, let the Word teach us what is right and what is wrong, then order our steps in Your will.  Father, if Your Son is in us, then His Spirit gives us life and power to walk in Spirit, in Jesus name, Amen

Yolanda Adams- Be Blessed

Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”

Lord, we forget, that is was You who created this entire universe, who holds the stars in place, and knows the exact number of hairs on our head, You also knows our ways. Father, let Your favor rest on us as we seek after You first, and You holds the power to cause things to happen in just a moment, that would otherwise take us years to do.  Father, line up our pathways to the cross and with like-minded people that You wants us to meet.   Lord, open the doors that lead us to righteousness, and close doors that separate us from You. In Jesus name Amen

IT IS A SIN NOT TO PRAY

1 Samuel 12:23. Did you know that prayerlessness is a sin? We say that it is unfortunate that we do not pray more; we admit our prayer life is weak and ineffective, but in actual fact, we sin when we do not pray.

Too often we pray before receiving our wants or needs but then forget to pray after God answers our request.  God's desire is for us to pray “on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests”

“Our hearts exult in the Lord; our minds are exalted in the Lord.   Our mouth derides our enemies because we rejoice in our salvation. “There is none holy like You Lord: for there is none besides You; there is no rock like our Savior. Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from our mouths; for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by Him, our actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble bind on strength.  Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger.  The barren has borne seven, but she who has many children is forlorn.   Lord, You, kill and bring to life; You bring down to Sheol and raises up.   Lord, You made the poor and You made the rich; You bring the low and exalt them.  You, raise up the poor from the dust; and lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor.  For the pillars of the earth are Your's, and on them, You set the world.  “Father,  guard the feet of Your faithful ones, and let the wicked be cut off in darkness, for not by might shall a man prevail. Father, Your, adversaries shall be broken to pieces; and thrown into the fires of hell.  Lord, You, will judge the ends of the earth; You will give strength to the weak and exalt the horn of Your anointed ones.” Amen

Ricky Dillard & New G - Amazing (Full Version) "HQ"

Isaiah 55:1-5 “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat!  Come, buy wine and milk without money and without a price.   2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy?  Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.  3   Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; hand I will make with you an everlasting covenant,  my steadfast, sure love for David. 4  behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader, and commander for the peoples.  5 behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know, and a nation that did not know you shall run to you, because of the Lord your God, and of the Holy One of Israel, for he has glorified you.

Father, You are so amazing, Your Word gives life; Your peace unexplainable and Your love unconditional, we are so grateful.  You're amazing transforming powers have saved us, Your Grace gives us protection; guidance, discernment, and correction so we say thank You Lord.  Lord, You can make away out no way, as You have done for us so many times; yet we still have doubts and fears, please forgive us.  Father right now we asked You to baptize Us in the Holy Spirit, so we can feel Your amazing presence in our lives; that gives us wisdom, knowledge, strength, courage, peace, comfort, and love, in Jesus name Amen

STRENGTHEN OUR FAITH AND HELP US WITH OUR UNBELIEFS

1 Samuel 17:41 Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield-bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. 42 He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. 43 He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 “Come here,” he said, “and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!”  45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.

By faith, Believers overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil.  It is by faith that we are shielded from the fiery arrows of the enemies.  It is by faith that the flesh is kept under control and our carnal desires are subdued.  It was David faith in God that gave Him the courage to stand up against and defeat Goliath.

Father, Your doctrine tells us that Christ died to save Your people, from sin through faith in Him; let us receive Your Spirit Lord so it will strengthen our faith.  Lord, come into our hearts and minds so we may develop fruit and Christ-like character.  Father, forgive us for our doubts and fears, please give us Your courage to stand on Your Word and not wavier.  Father, we are your broken people saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord, and Savior.  Lord, thank You for the guarding Angles that protect us from the fiery arrows of our enemies; and let their plots of evil catch them in their own snares.  Lord, keep us humble, give patience, fill our hearts with love, let us be kind and gentle to the least.  Father, rescue those that are drowning in the storms of despair; let them feel Your presence, that gives comfort, peace and Hope, In Jesus name Amen

HE WILL GUIDE US INTO ALL THE TRUTH

When I was lost I had life all figured out, now I realize how wrong I was; now I realize without Jesus there is no out, of this uncertain world.  I did not know the deception of the evil one, or how easily I could be duped.   Now, I realize how desperately I need Christ to guide me through this maze of day to day options and struggles.

John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come

We need Jesus to guide us, someone who knows us, who understand us, and has our best interest at heart.  Jesus, knows our personality, our ability, our thoughts, our likes, and dislike.  Jesus is the type of guide that takes our weaknesses and strength into consideration when He chats our path in life.

Father, help us truth You with all our heart, and not depend on our own understanding that will lead us astray.  Lord, let us remember You in all we do so You will guide us to success.  Father, let us not depend on our wisdom, that is driven by the flesh; but the wisdom of the Word, that gives direction, instruction, and correction.  Lord, baptize us in the Spirit that helps us follow You; that helps us read and heed the Word; that makes us yield, listen, and trust in Your Word.   In Jesus name Amen

Fighting Temptations He Still Loves Me Lyrics

God's word is very clear in telling us that all men are created equal and every single person can be a child of God, receiving the full inheritance of heaven. We can look at the Word to learn how to love and serve everyone no matter what their age, color, or ethnicity, gender or nationality.

Ephesians 2:14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,

Father, we are all brothers and sisters, that believe in Your glorious Son, Jesus Christ and we must not show favoritism.   Lord, let us not treat people that are rich in material possessions of a gold ring and fine clothes, any different than a poor man in filthy old clothes, because they are the same in your eyes.  Father, make us aware that, If we show special attention to the person wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” have discriminated among ourselves and become judges with evil thoughts; so we too will be judged with the same evil thoughts. If Christ is our Savior we are all children of God through faith, for all of us who were baptized into Christ have clothed ourselves with Christ.  There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.  Amen

WE DON'T NEED A REASON JUST PRAY

Pray as if God is the ultimate reality in our lives, then be still and listen for His response. When we make our request known with an effective, fervent prayer we accomplish much.  The Word explains to us that a prayer is an effective tool when using the Spirit.  Prayer like everything else in a Believers life is for the honor and glory of God.  Yes, God seeks His own glory, but we also benefit when God is glorified.

1John 5:14 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us  1 Timothy 2:1-4 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Father, You, are the Creator of the Universe and Sustainer of all things, Lord, search our hearts and minds and remove all that is not of You so we can come to Your throne with clean hearts and minds so You will hear our prayer.  Lord, please teach us how to pray; let the Holy Spirit utter for us when we know not what to say.   Lord, You, said, we have not because we ask not, so we come to the altar to make our request known; baptize us in the Holy Spirit so we will desire the things of the Spirit and be submissive to the Word.  Help us become the people You created us to be, forgive us for not training our children the way to go, this is why they have strayed so from You.  Father, intervene right now and help us save our children and our children’s children.  Father, open their hearts and minds and fill them with Your Spirit; give them eyes that see and the wisdom to understand, give them ears that hear Your voice as You order their steps in Your will.  Father, help us dismantle racism that will destroy this Country, by letting all Christian stand up and stop being silent. Lord, we pray for those that we call leaders; fill their hearts with kindness, gentleness, and your love for the people.  In Jesus name Amen

Are Mega Churches Biblical? | 7 SIGNS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH

The implication is that once a church reaches a certain number of regular attendees, it suddenly abandons the gospel or that there is no way to reach such a number without putting God and his Word to the side. If the people making such assertions were around during Jesus’ earthly ministry, they surely would have missed his feeding of the five thousand. You know, with there being so many people and all, it was obviously a man-focused gathering of people who cared more about food than good, solid theology.

HUMBLE PEOPLE HONOR GOD AND OTHERS

The Truth is we have no good in us without Christ because we were born into sin; we have only misery and nothingness, and for those that do not understand or believe this walk in a lie; but those that understand and believe this has peace.  Jesus loves humility in us because there will be no interference when He works in and through us.  When we are humble in ourselves our confidence is in Christ, knowing that all things are possible with Him.  The greatest people in the Kingdom of heaven and earth are the ones who make themselves humble like a child.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

Father, let us not do anything out of selfishness or pride, but instead be humble and give more honor to others than to ourselves.  Lord, lets us not only think of our issues but be concerned with the issues of others as well.  Father, Your Word tells us what is good and You told us what You want from us: to do what is right for other people and show others the same love and kindness, You have shown us.  Lord, we renounce all the glory of the good in us and give it all to You.  Father, we want to give You the honor that belongs to You, and that is to reign over us and subject us to laws and commands that are designed for our best interest, in Jesus name, Amen

GOD WILL PUNISH SINNERS

Jude 1:4-7 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.  5 I will, therefore, put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.  6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.  7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Father, we know Your day of judgment is near, so search our souls and remove all that is not of You.  Lord, let us remember what happened to the cities that were full of sexual sin and help us repent and turn away so we will not perish.  Lord, we understand that it grieves Your heart to lose Your children to sin, so fill us with the Holy Spirit that will compel us to obey and walk in righteousness.  Jesus, over and over again in Your Word You proclaimed and promised that You would wrath on the enemy and on those who do evil things.  Father, the good and righteous are constantly being attacked by the wicked who are treading down everything good and decent in their path.  But, You are with us and will protect us, it is written with every promise that You made to intervene and smite the evil.   Lord, we cry out in a loud voice, holy and true, how long before You will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”  In Jesus name Amen

BRAG ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS

The wise do not brag about their wisdom; the strong do not brag about their strength.  The rich do not brag about their money;  a teacher does not brag about their knowledge if they are children of God

But if we want to brag, let us brag about our relationship with Christ.  Let us brag about how good He has been to us, let us brag about how far He has brought us; let's brag about His blessings and provisions.  We do not have to brag about who we are, our action and lifestyle will show it, but if we must brag, brag about what and who God is in us.

Father, let us not practice our righteousness before other people, in order to be seen by those that cannot reward us.  Lord, when You bless us, no one knows, so let us not brag when we help the least of us.   Father, let us not seek the praise of man but seek You with all our hearts, minds, and souls; so our lives will come to order, as everything falls into place, with Your plan for us.  Lord, let our giving stay secret so our Father who sees in secret will reward us.  Father, give us discernment of when and how to pray; so we do not look like the hypocrites who stand in the Churches and street corners, praying to be seen by others, in Jesus name Amen

Are Christians Still Required to Tithe?

Giving is for believers, and it should be done by all believers. Poor Christians as well as rich should give to the Lord (2 Cor. 8:2; Luke 21:1-4). That is one reason it is wrong to be in debt we say we do not have money to give; but if it's something we want we will borrow to get it, this is why we aren’t free to give generously we owe creditors. But even if you can’t give much, we aren’t exempt from giving. Those who are supported in Christian ministry are not exempt either. In fact, they should set the example (Acts 20:35).

STOP ACTING LIKE A CARNAL CHRISTIAN

1 Corinthians 3:1-4 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; up until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there is envy, strife, and divisions among you are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?

Godly people are peaceful people not contentious; if we are apart of God’s family we should behave as such.  God is not a God of confusion like carnal people that claim to be Christians but behave like the world.  When we receive Jesus as our Savior we are babes in Christ, but as we study, pray, worship, fellowship, and praise; we should grow and develop our fruit of the Spirit, that gives us Christ-like character.  As we mature in Spirit, the Word takes root and we are able to digest the wisdom and knowledge; that nourishes our souls, then we begin to act like Christ and not like the world.

Father, in the past, when we first receive You as our Savior we were like infants; we still need Your love, protection, and guidance; but we are wiser because of our relationship with You.  Lord, we will practice Your teachings daily; so Your Word will continue nourishing our Spirit, and creating in us a clean heart and mind.  Lord, search our Souls and remove all that is not of You, so we will not quarrel among ourselves but act like people of God at all times.  Father, let us not think too highly of ourselves, so we do not think we are more important than any other of God's children, so we do not have division among us, in Jesus name Amen

LET US PRAY

Thank You, Lord, that we Are All Made in Your Spiritual Image,  please help us develop Christ-like character.  Lord,  let us not feed our hearts and minds with the things of the fleshly; so will not be filled with greed, division, pride, envy, jealousy, and hate.  Baptist us in the Spirit so we will strive to follow Christ; by practicing what we've learned from our study, prayer, fasting, fellowship, worship, and praise.  Father, we learned that if we want Your forgiveness, we too must forgive, so give us Your strength.  We learned that, through the love we have for Christ and the unconditional love You have for us; we can love those who wronged us, even our enemies.  Lord, Your Words, have transforming powers and if we study it enough, it will change us too.  Lord, fill us with the desires of the Spirits, that will comple us too; fellowship with others, pray without ceasing, teach Your Word to our children and our children's children, witness to others, and stand on Your Word.  Father, let us not  judge so we will not be judged.  Father, let Your Spirit that dwells in US, help us become a new creation and giving us the power to change; and turn away from sin, so help develop our fruit of self-control, so we can walk in Your will.  Give us a kind and gentle heart for the least of us.  Father, teach us to be more like Christ, so we will be Your disciple.  Lord, give us eye that see and ears that hear Your Truth, and let us hold on to what is good, in Jesus name, Amen

WE ARE JOINED TOGETHER THROUGH SPIRITS

1 Corinthians 1:2 to the Church of God in Corinth to you who have been made holy in Christ Jesus.  You were called to be God's holy people with all people everywhere who pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Christianity is a lifestyle that all of Christ's followers live with each other no matter the color of our skin

1 Corinthians 1:10 I beg you, brother and sister, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that all of you agree with each other and not be split into groups.  I  beg that  you be completely join together by having the same kind of thinking and the same purpose

Father, we thank You, for the grace You have given us in Christ, which unites our Spirits as one; to help build up Your Kingdom and others.  Thank You, Lord, for Your sacrifice because in You we have been made rich in every way, in all our thinking and in all our knowledge.  Thank You, Lord, for our gifts, give us Your wisdom of how and when to use them to honor You and give others hope.  Father,  continue working in us, baptizing us in the Holy Spirit which compels us to obey Your will.  Thank You, for the Siritual Soldiers You have surrounded us with, to help us stay on the path of righteousness and serve Your purpose in our lives.  Thank you, Lord, for another day in our right minds and bless those and their families that were called Home in Jesus mighty name Amen

YOUR WORD IS A LAMP FOR MY FEET

I do not pretend to know God because we talk every day and He teaches me how to practice what I have learned from Him.  When we study, meditate, and pray over what we have read, the Holy Spirit will fill our hearts and minds; which draw's us near to Thee and as His secrets are revealed to us our faith in strengthening.    When we lay our hearts and minds open to receive His Word; we are filled with His wisdom and divine knowledge, that transforms us into the believers He created.

Psalm 119:105, 107-108 His Word is like a lamp for our feet and a light for our path.  We have suffered for a long time.  Lord give us life by Your Word.  Lord, accept our willing praise and teach us Your laws.

Father. let Your Word be like water that nourishes our Souls so we will sprout and grow.  Lord, let us not return to You empty because we have not received the Word.  Fill us with Your Spirit, let it search our Souls and remove all fleshly desires and replace it with the things of the Spirit.  Father, let Your Word change us and make us a part of Your Holy family so we will be called Your children.  Lord, let Your Word order our steps in Your will; so we will stay on the path of righteousness.  Father, Your Son died for us so help us live for Him and we cannot do this without Him.  Thank You, for always giving us an escape from temptation, thank You, for forgiveness, and thank You, for teaching us how to forgive, thank You for comfort, thank You for provisions, thank You, for life, health, and strength, in Jesus name, Amen
