1 Samuel 12:23. Did you know that prayerlessness is a sin? We say that it is unfortunate that we do not pray more; we admit our prayer life is weak and ineffective, but in actual fact, we sin when we do not pray.
Too often we pray before receiving our wants or needs but then forget to pray after God answers our request. God's desire is for us to pray “on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests”
“Our hearts exult in the Lord; our minds are exalted in the Lord. Our mouth derides our enemies because we rejoice in our salvation. “There is none holy like You Lord: for there is none besides You; there is no rock like our Savior. Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from our mouths; for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by Him, our actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble bind on strength. Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger. The barren has borne seven, but she who has many children is forlorn. Lord, You, kill and bring to life; You bring down to Sheol and raises up. Lord, You made the poor and You made the rich; You bring the low and exalt them. You, raise up the poor from the dust; and lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are Your's, and on them, You set the world. “Father, guard the feet of Your faithful ones, and let the wicked be cut off in darkness, for not by might shall a man prevail. Father, Your, adversaries shall be broken to pieces; and thrown into the fires of hell. Lord, You, will judge the ends of the earth; You will give strength to the weak and exalt the horn of Your anointed ones.” Amen
