Money Cannot Buy Everything

Ecclesiastes 10:19 Food makes a feast, wine makes merry, but money controls everything.

Money can buy a building, but not a sanctuary.
Money can buy a Pastor, but not God's wisdom and knowledge.
Money can buy people, but not a good soul.
Money can buy laughter, but not happiness
Money won't last, but a Spirit will last forever.
Money controls all worldly things, but it cannot control feelings, love, or the Spiritual realm.

Lord, let us not be materialistic but rich in love and faith. Father, You said that the love of money is the root of all evil; please take that love from us. Lord, teach us not to covet cash so we will not sin. Father, so many Spiritual leaders, desire money more than they want to save Souls; Lord, the breakdown of the Church is caused by the love of money, which started the domino effect: our homes, our children, our neighborhoods, and our lives. Father, help us become better stewards of Your money, teach us how to keep Your cash circulating in our lives.   Let us not envy what others have but focus on our blessings with a thankful attitude. Father, serve justice to those killed for money and bring them to the light. Father, do justice to those who sell our children's innocence for the love of money. Lord, touch the hearts of those with money with compassion, love, kindness, and mercy, so they will help the least of them. Father, help us fix our Souls, not our status and appearance;  Lord, Your people are so far from You, please help us find our way back to You before we all perish. Father, You are where our treasure is, not this world; so prepare us for Your Kingdom, and keep us on the path of righteousness. Father, You said whoever loves money will never have enough; remove this love from us, and whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income; Lord, give us an attitude of thankfulness. Lord, no matter where life journey takes us, keep us humble and ready to serve You, in Jesus' name, Amen

THE DEVIL IS NOT A RACIST

The devil is not a racist; it does not matter what religion or cultural background we come from, all that matters to him is destroying our Souls. Satan will intensely attack anyone who is a threat to him maintaining his territory or anyone who may advance the Kingdom of God. But the good news is we have a defense mechanism; his name is Jesus. When we are under spiritual attack, prayer is the most effective weapon we can use. Finally, Ephesians 6:10-12, be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Put on the whole armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Father, we are under attack by the evil one; we beg You to destroy the power of Your most significant enemy. Lord cast him into the deepest recesses of hell and chained him forever. Lord, we ask that You take possession of our hearts and minds, rightfully Yours. Lord, help us put on the whole armor of God, so we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Lord, dismantle and break all strongholds the devil may have over us. Lord, please place the cross and the blood of Jesus between the devil and our children, our families, and our friends. Right now, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Strong In Spirit

Luke 2:40 and the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.

As Jesus grows strong in spirit, He also gains the wisdom and knowledge of who He was to His Father. We go through the same process in knowing who He is in us; as our faith grows strong, so does our wisdom and knowledge. Then we are filled with the Holy Spirit that helps us execute God's will in our lives. Now how do you become strong in the Lord? This can only be achieved by studying the Word with faith. Joshua 1:7-8 mediates on the Word of God day and night. Also, by praying and hearing the Word taught. Furthermore, get into praise and worship both in the church and at home.

Father, we come to You as humbled as we know how, asking You for Your wisdom and knowledge of who we are with Christ. Come Holy Spirit, fill our hearts with the fire of Your love. Lord, let Your spirit create a clean heart and mind in Your people. Father, help us to be more like Christ Your Son that died so we may live. Lord, let Your Words transform us into the people You designed. Lord, we understand that we are Blood brought children given the same birthrights as Christ, and we are grateful. Father, let the people see You in us as we lead them to You; in Jesus' name, we pray Amen.

GOD IS IN CONTROL, IF WE RELY ON HIM

We all have times when everything around us seems out of control, and we can’t get it right.  We talk to our family and friends, but it brings no peace; sometimes, it makes things worst.  But there is a way to cope with life no matter the situation; we do this through the Word of God.  We have so much going on in our minds about what we want for ourselves, but God does not play a role in our plans most of the time. "Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans for welfare and not evil, to give you a future and hope.' But unfortunately, our plans do not work; we do not include God.   "Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man, this is impossible, but all things are possible with God.”   So for all those whose lives are out of control, let's talk to God so He can show us His plans for our lives.

Lord, teach us Your plans for our lives; help us not lean on our understanding but Yours.  Father, we understand that our thoughts are not Your thoughts, neither are our ways Your ways.  As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are Your plans for us.  Lord, just as You water the world, making it bring forth fruit, water our hearts and minds with Your Word so we may be fruitful.  Father, allow Your words to accomplish that which is Your purpose, and we shall succeed in all things.  Father, right now, some are anxious about tomorrow; help them to understand that their plans for tomorrow may never come.  Lord, help them focus on You and teach them Your purpose so that they may have hope and peace.  We pray together in Jesus' name. Amen.

GET TO KNOW GOD

Everybody will die; Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” (John 11:25). But to receive immortality when Jesus comes again, we must know HIM. (see 1 Corinthians 15:51-54). The Bible says that all those who have died—both righteous and wicked—will rise from the dead in one of two resurrections. The righteous will be raised to life at Jesus’ second coming. “ For the Lord, Himself will descend from heaven, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16, NKJV). According to this verse, the righteous do not go to heaven when they die. They remain asleep in the grave until Jesus returns and raises them to immortal life (see 1 Corinthians 15:50-57).  Get to know God through His Word; talk with Him daily through prayer, and honor Him through praise, worship, and our actions.

Father, there are so many family members and friends that were called home, we pray that they knew You Lord.  You are a wonderful Lord, full of grace and mercy.  We praise You for allowing us another day with our families and friends.  Father, You know the struggles that we will face today, so we ask that You guide us through them in Your will.  Father, we need Your strength when we are not strong and remove the obstacles that keep us from sitting at Your feet.  Lord, please remove anything that is hindering our blessings from You so that we may also bless those in need.  Lord, keep Your protecting and healing hands on us.  Father, You are worthy to be praised, and we will praise You throughout our lives, in Jesus name Amen

COVER YOURSELF WITH THE BLOOD

Father, thank You for another blessing, and we ask for wisdom and spiritual understanding.  So we may conduct ourselves in a manner worthy; of You, fully pleasing You, and being fruitful in every good work.  Lord, thank You for the renewing of our bodies and minds; that we may put on tender mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; to bear with and forgive one another, as You have forgiven us; and allowed us another day to get it right.  Father, we pray that we all speak on one accord, with no divisions among us; and let us stand in one Spirit and striving together.    Lord, let us not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.  Father, we pray for the Church, may the whole body be knitted and joined, ready to give to the poor and share with those in need.  Lord, we pray that all Christians do their part causing growth to Your kingdom and strength to our Spirits.  Father, we know not what this day will bring, but please prepare us for whatever comes.  Lord, help us make this prayer more than words, so give us Your strength, courage, and love to, and this will be accomplished.  In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

THEY TALKED ABOUT JESUS

Isaiah 54:17 no weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD

People do not worry about what others say; they talked about Jesus Christ, and He came to save us.  Those that talk about others normally do not have a life, they harbor jealousy and hate in their hearts.  They may envy the way you look, act, dress, or you may have something they want.  People will even dislike you because so many others do like you, whatever the reason put it in God's hands.  The Word says every tongue that rises falsely against us will fail; no one will be able to injure us with words.  The tongue of the wise brings healing, peace, and joy, but the tongue of evil speaks death, hatred, and lies.

Father help us refrain from anger when people talk about us, because they talked about You Lord, and we are no better than You.  Lord, help us not to fret because it leads to evil and only Fools shows their annoyance.  Lord, help us be prudent and overlook an insult that does not harm us.  Lord, sometimes reckless words pierce us like a sword, but Lord we are wise, so we allow You to bring healing.  Father, help us understand that a quick temper will make us do foolish things, that will harm us more than words.  Father, give us Your wisdom, guidance, and understanding when dealing with hateful and dark-hearted people.  Give us Your courage to walk away and the knowledge to let You handle it.  Lord, teach us how to fight evilness with kindness; and do not let harsh words stir up frustration because anger is a result of sin.  In Jesus name, we pray Amen

HELPING EACH OTHER

1 Corinthians 9:22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.  Galatians 6:2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.

We need to teach our children and some adults the importance of giving to others, whether it's time, money, or a kind word; this is one of the most valuable character traits in a child of God.  The Bible is filled with verses and examples of adults and children helping others.  It does not matter how much we have, it is what we feel in our hearts; so be encouraged today and make a difference in someone's life, as God has done for us.  You never know how a small act of kindness, can draw someone close to God.

Lord teach those who are strong to be considerate of those who are weak.  Let us not be selfish, but always kind to our brothers and sisters in need, for even Christ a King did not live to please Him.  Father, urge us to warn people who are idle and disruptive to encourage the dishearten, help the poor, and be patient with everyone.  Lord, help us not to be excessively concerned with material possessions and money, but more concern with helping each other.  Father, teach us unity and the love of Christ, who died so we may live.  Lord, examine our path and trace our footsteps so we will not sin against You or Your people.  In Jesus name, we pray Amen.

OUR LOOKS AND OUR CHARACTER

Romans 16:19  For the report of our obedience has reached all; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil.  Philippians 2:15 So that we will prove ourselves to be blameless and innocent children of God.   Above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.  2 Corinthians 1:12 For our proud and confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but the grace of God.  We have conducted ourselves Christ-like in the world, and especially toward you.

If we put as much time into developing our inner character as we build our outward appearance, we would all be more like Christ.  If our character were as crucial as our looks, we would all be true Christians. Our consistency and faith will decide our future when we are called home.

Lord, since we have been justified by grace and faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him, we have also obtained access by faith into His Father's grace; and we rejoice in the peace of God's glory.  More than that, Father, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character. Character makes hope, and hope does not put us to shame because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Lord, continue to help us develop our Christ-like character so that we may act like Christ. Amen.

Thank You Lord For a New Day

Colossians 3:16-17 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in our hearts. And whatever we do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Lord, You are our unending source of energy and life, You bring light to our darkest days.  We thank You today for life, health and strength and we pray for those who were called to rest.  Lord, fill our hearts with wisdom today and apply our minds to understanding Your word.  Father, let Your words shape our lives and guide us through our fleshly decisions.  Lord, through Your word we gain confidence to approach You and ask for anything according to Your will, and You will hear us.  Father, as we start this new day that we have been blessed with, we ask for Your courage, strength and guidance so we may honor You; with worship and praise throughout this day, and every day.  Lord, You are our dwelling place for peace; help us spread Your love to others so they may draw near to You.  Father we prayer to You in Jesus divine name, Amen

GOD AND MAN

Our education is vital for helping us to live a comfortable life, now if we take that knowledge and follow the moral guidance of the Word, we will live a life of purpose and prosperity. God's Word will change our lives if we put the Word and our faith into practice.  God's Word, is a living organism that speaks to our souls and changes our hearts and minds to things of the Spirit.  The more we study, the clearer we hear and feel Him; God's Word is a diagrammatic representation of souls, spirits, hearts, and minds; which keeps us in line with the Holy Spirit.  When we receive His Spirit, our character will become more Christ-like; the material things of man will no longer be important to us, only the things of the Spirit.  But, we must be in the Word daily, because the Word is our weapon along with pray, worship, praise, and faith; that we have against the flesh, our enemy, and the darkness of the world. Seek the things of the Spirit and not the things of the world; then our lives will have a purpose, peace, and prosperity. Everything man has to offer is material; that keeps, us in debt, stressed, addicted, or worst.  The things of the Spirit are free and gives us eternal life, but things of the world bring us death.

Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.  Acts 5:29 - Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Father, so many times we have desired what the world has to offer, instead of  Your will, and so many times we failed.  Lord, we spend Your money unwisely then complain about being in financial hardship, all to please or show off to people who do not care.  Lord, we do not know what we want most of the time, and people make promises to us they cannot keep.  Father, help us pay every debt we owe and teach us how to live for You instead of man. Lord, forgive us for not obeying Your Word then complain about situations we caused, through our worldly desires.  Lord, keep a hedge of protection around us, our children, family, and friends; and remove all generational curses. Father, surround us with Your Spiritual Soldiers; to help us with our day-to-day struggles, and spiritual battles.  Lord, dress us in full body armor; so we can stand against evil and our enemies.  Father, give us Your strength, love, and fill us with the Holy Spirit; to help us be submissive to Your Word and develop Christ-like character.  Amen

WALK IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

Studying the Word of God draw's us near to Him; and the closer our relationship with Him, the more peace we have in our lives.   Now, if we say we are close to Christ and we have no peace; we need to re-examine ourselves because a close relationship with Jesus brings peace.  When we are close to Him we desire to do His will,  after receiving the wisdom and knowledge of the Truth.  But, when we know the Truth and go on sinning, God will turn us over to a reprobate mind, He will reject us and leave us to our own corruption.

Romans 1:28-29 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperer

Lord, You said that we should present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You, which is our spiritual worship. Father, teach us how to worship and praise You with a pure heart; so we may pass the test, and not be rejected.  Father, help us not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of our minds, let Your Word penetrate our hearts with what is righteous, acceptable, and perfect in Your sight.  Father, give us Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement Your Words into our daily lives so it will reveal Your moral standards and Your plan for our salvation. Father, fill us with Your Son, Spirit, so He will nourish our Fruit, and help us develop His character, that will strengthen our faith and help us obey You. Lord, examine our hearts and remove all that is not of You; and replace it with the desires of the Spirit so we will walk in righteousness, unity, and love.   In Jesus name, Amen

Self Control

Titus 2:11-12 for the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age.

If we study the Book of Proverbs, it will guide us to building a balanced life.  Proverbs’ gives us guidance on how not to fall into temptation, as well as how to stand up against evil with self-control, Courage, and strength.  Several verses in the Bible deal with restraint from the trap of illicit sexuality; there is a topic on how to love yourself, avoiding folly, and guidance to a better lifestyle.  If we want to change our lives, we must study the Word of God and believe and act on what is written.

Father, we come to you to glorify Your name, fill us with the Holy Spirit; so we can have self-control when temptations emerge in and around us. Lord, help us resist lust, jealousy, anger, and pride, teach us how to seek Your face in the midst of evil and temptation.  Lord, we ask for Your guidance, please shape us into the people You desire us to be.  Father, let us crave Your word the way we crave the material things in this world.  Father, give us joy and peace so we can focus on You and take control of our lives.  Father, let Your word be the center of our lives, so we may be a living testimony for You to others, in Jesus name we pray Amen

I AM

I AM (JOHN 8:58) “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

THE IMAGE OF GOD (2 COR. 4:4) in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.

MY NAME IS IMMANUEL (ISAIAH 7:14) Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

KING OF THE JEW (MATTHEW 2:2) Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east and are come to worship him.

THE RESSURECTION AND LIFE (JOHN 11:25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he dies, yet shall he live;

YOUR SAVIOR (LUKE 2:11)  for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

I Am the image of God; My name is Immanuel, King of the Jews.  I Am the resurrection and life; I Am your Savior.

DO NOT LOOK BACK

Some believers or torn between their new faith and their old ways. Anytime adversity presents itself; our faith is weakened, and we begin to slip back into familiar routines and rituals. This means we need to get connected to the Word, and not our comfort zone. Just like the Israelites; as soon as the going got tough, they wanted to return to Egypt; instead of looking to the Spirit that set them free, giving them protection, guidance, food to eat, water to drink, and clothes to wear.  When our Souls are weak it hard to have self-determination, so we turn to our old ways instead of God.  Stay in the Word, so we do not be a slave to our old ways.  When we surrender to God; our self-determination increases so does our faith; surrender and be free.

Lord, help us with our decision-making today and grant us the clarity of Your Word.  Give us self-determination, let us not complain about our needs, but be a part of the solution fixing them.   Father, give us self-determination to lose weight stop smoking or any sins we commit against our bodies and You.  Father, give us guidance in our daily walk; so we do not stumble and fall, order our steps so we may walk in Your will.  Father, give us Your love, strength, and Your courage; to work in unity with each other, and serve Your purpose, to keep moving forward in our spiritual journey.  Lord, give us a vision and keep our past behind us, and may Your eternal Love and grace; guide us into Your plan for our lives, we pray in Jesus name Amen

Act Like A Christian

83% of America identifies themselves as Christians. Now, what would happen in America if 83% of the people act like Christians?? Just a thought

Lord, let us not be religious fanatics, but inward changed people.  Father, help us become the people You created us to be; and lead us not into temptation, but, keep us in Your will.  Lord, give us You wisdom and the knowledge to implement Your Word into our lives. Lord, forgive us for our sins and give us Your strength to forgive others, in Jesus name Amen

The Right Attitude

Believers with the right attitude will benefit from the Word of God. We must bring a right attitude when studying the Word; we need God's strength, guidance, wisdom, and knowledge to receive His Word.
Acts 20:32) Paul tells us: so now brethren, I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace, which can strengthen us and give us the inheritance and power of His promise. If we go to God's Word with the right attitude, His Words will develop in us Fruit as we study and implement the Word in our lives.  Studies show that the right attitude actually has a positive effect on your atmosphere, it also combats aging and makes us healthier

If we want to receive the promise of the Word we must study the Word; to develop a relationship with Christ, we must communicate with Him daily.  Because Satan and his followers are on his job 24/7 trying to divide, devour, and destroy.  Philippians 2:14-15 Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

Jesus, when You dwell in us we develop the right attitude and if we stay focused on You, we will not be lead astray.  Lord, let us forget about the enemy and the darkness around us and thank You for discernment.  Father, thank You, for the hedge of protection You have around us as You order our steps; around the obstacles of this world, so we will not stumble and fall.  Jesus, help us become honorable, true, and pure and fill us with Your Spirit as we practice what we have learned, and received from the Word.  Let us shine with Your wisdom; and give us the knowledge, understanding, strength, and courage we need to witness to others, about Your goodness.  Lord, thank You, for forgiveness and for giving us the strength to forgive others.  Father, thank You, for life health and strength; and the peace we receive from Your grace, in Jesus name gives us the right attitude, Amen

Please Pray With Me

We pray that today become a day of hope; joy, peace, happiness and love.  Let the Holy Spirit overflow us with faith and develop our Fruit, Lord thank You for restoring harmony and unity between us.  Father, thank You for, Your atoning grace and forgiveness that has reinstated us into Your Holy Family. Lord, teach us how to use Your power in the physical as well as spiritual for those in need. Father, You said those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament.  Lord, we ask that You allow this light to shine on our children and give them hope so You may turn our children to righteousness.  Lord, there is destruction all around us, in our neighborhoods, our communities, our schools, our Churches and our world.  Lord, we ask You to intervene in our lives right now to restore peace and order to all people and the world.  Lord, help Your people gain a real spiritual birth in Jesus name
 Amen

Thank You

Father, thank You for planting Your seed, in us before we were born
Lord, thank You for dying so we could live and worship You
Holy Spirit thank You for helping us execute God’s
Will in our
Lives
