WE HAVE TO MUCH TO LIVE FOR

People who wrestle with suicidal thoughts and tendencies often feel all alone in their struggle. Financial struggles, Depression, Sickness, grief, or the feeling of being unloved. The truth is, suicide is more common than we may think. Suicide seems to be the new way out, especially for our young children who are being bullied and first respondents’. But suicide is not a new problem, it’s been an issue for many years, even in biblical times. Judas – In great despair and guilt after betraying Christ took his life. Judas could have repented and seek forgiveness after betraying Christ, but he allowed the great burden of sin to lead him to this terrible end.  People that have thoughts of Suicide don't have a relationship with Christ, because they would know the first thing to do is turn to Him. God reminds us in His Word that He will never waste the pain we struggle through in this life. He will turn it around for our good somehow and use it to strengthen us and to help others.

Father, we know the Devil comes like a thief, to steal, kill, and destroy. But our relationship with You will give us life and have it abundantly. If we choose not to be driven by fear, but by our faith in Your promise. Lord, let us not be afraid to reach out and help someone who is struggling, or to reach out for help if we find ourselves struggling. Because, we know You are our Refuge in time of trouble and You will never let go. Father, as soon as we reach out to You, You being to work in our favor. Lord, help us recognize the signs of suicide and give us Your wisdom and knowledge of what to say or do in these difficult times. Lord, we pray for hope, comfort, and peace for those who are struggling with the thoughts of suicide. Let them feel Your presence that give us strength and courage to overcome the challenges we face, so we can look forward to a better tomorrow, in Jesus name Amen
