FATHER DIRECT OUR THOUGHTS AND ACTION

Matthew 13:5-6 5 other fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil; and they immediately sprang up because the soil was not deep. 6 So when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.

Our spiritual walk is a process, and we are not in control of anything.  Once we accept Christ as our Savior, we have taken the first step of our journey.  Now we have to develop a relationship with Christ through studying the Word.  If we do not study the word we will never be rooted so we will not produce fruit.

Matthew 13:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.

When we accept Christ as our Savior, we have to let some things and some people go.  We cannot hold on to things that are not of Him because it will always be a distraction. Anything in our lives that is not of the spirit will try to hinder our relationship with Christ.

Lord, direct our thoughts, words, and actions, cleanse us in the immaculate Blood of the Lamb and fill our hearts with the Holy Spirit.  Mold us daily into the likeness of Thy Son Jesus Christ and do not let us grow weary of doing good.  In Jesus name
