We are quick to say we only have enough for ourselves, but we lived on a lot less when we were down. So take that fifth dollar a month or more spent on Lottery and give it to a worthy cause. God wants us to have Ujima (Collective Work & Responsibility) – To build and maintain our community together and make our brother’s and sister’s problems our problems and solve them together.
Father, search our hearts and minds, remove all that is not of You, and replace it with the things of the Spirit. Help us train our children in the way to go so they do not stray far from You. Lord, help us take ourselves out of anything or anyone we are dealing with, so the Holy Spirit controls and not our feelings. Father, let 2019 be a year of education on Voting, on help our failing schools, helping the Businesses in our communities, creating jobs, and a solution that works for all in gun control. Father, intervene now so we can gain order in our leadership and world. Father, give us eyes that see our need of You and ears that receive You wisdom. Lord, help us Practice Your knowledge daily as we witness to others about Your goodness. Forgive us for falling short of Your mercy, grace, and favor, and thank You. Amen for life, health, and strength in Jesus' mighty name.
