When we hear the Word of truth, we feel conviction by our own conscience because that's the purpose of His Word. We feel conviction through the Holy Spirit, but if our will is more vital than God's conviction, He will reject (reprobate Rm. 1:28) us and leave us to our own corruption. Proverbs 24:24-The Word says, "who say to the guilty you are innocent; people will curse him, and nations denounce him.' But it will go well for those that speak the truth of the Word; "that God uses to convict us "of guilt, though our love for Him." But, God does not want guilt love; He wants our choice to love Him; Christ wants to love more than we give our children, his money, and our fleshly desires. We will do anything for the people we love, and God wants to be ahead of them. Since Christ gave His life to save us, we should be able to give up that worldly sin that separates us from Him. He wants us to sacrifice that fleshly desire that we do not want to let go and let God.
Lord, we know the truth and understand how important it is to walk in truth. Father, give us the strength and courage we need to say No More and help us turn away from our sins. Lord, help us be a light for those in the dark, an instructor for the foolish, and a teacher of infants, so they can hear the truth. Your truth Lord fills us with the Holy Spirit; and convicts us of our sins. Lord, have mercy on those with stubborn and hardened hearts; they store up wrath for the day of Your righteous judgment (Rms. 2:5-6). Father, search our hearts and help us remove all that is not of you; and all that hinders our blessings from You. Lord, keep Your hedge of protection around those that preach for You and not man and keep us in Your will. Father, we thank You for inward change; and pruning our Fruit with the Spiritual Soldiers You have surrounded us with, in Jesus' name Amen
