WHEN JESUS DWELLS IN US

No matter how long we have been in our walk, we still dwell in the flesh, so we are capable of sin.  (1 (John 1:7-9 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.  If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all evil) We need Christ daily for protection and guidance through the day to day problems and situations of life. So, God gave us instruction the Book of life; but most of us have chosen not to study the book, so we walk in the flesh. (Galatians 5:17 for the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary the flesh. They are opposed to one another so that you do not do what you want.) If the Word says to do one thing and we do what we want; we are disobeying His Word, which we all have done. But, if we repented and turned away from our sin he will forgive us and restore us to Him.
But, if we are stiff neck and hard-hearted we will stay in the flesh; and that’s when sin causes death. (Revelation 2:5 - Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent).  Christ sacrificed His life hoping we would choose to walk in the Spirit; which is what He did when He walked in the flesh, so He knows we can do it.  God will dwell in us if we obey His Word.

Lord, give us a complete understanding of Your Word and provide us with the Spirit of Faith to stand on Your promise.  Lord, we thank You for each new day; that starts with Your blessings.  Keep Your hands on our children and teach us what we should do to save them.  Father, help us understand that to be born with sin; just means we have been cursed, but Your Word can break that chain.  So, Lord, we come to You right now with our sins; asking for forgiveness as we repent and turn away.  Give us Your strength, courage, and the Spirit of self-control through Your daily bread; so we will not look back, but move forward with Your guidance and mercy.  Lord, open our hearts and minds to You; so we can walk in truth, in Jesus name Amen
