Romans 15:30-Brother and sisters, I beg you to help me in my work by praying to God for me. Do this because of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love that the Holy Spirit gives us. Pray that I will be saved from non-believers in Judea and that this help I bring to Jerusalem will please God’s people there. Then, if God wants me to, I will come to you with joy, and together you and I will have a time of rest. The God who gives peace be with you all. Amen
When the Holy Spirit comes upon us, it converts us from the flesh to the Spirit; we become His Saints and servants, which is the fruit of the spirit. Once we receive the Word, the love in us will flow from the Spirit; and gives us the power to forgive; the power to lead others out of darkness, the power to have peace in the storm and the power of discernment of false teachings. Jesus prayed consistently for others salvation; so let’s strive together for greater strength in our prayers for others; this is our purpose to help Christ in His works.
Lord, hear our fervent prayer, that we will be preserved from the power of the enemies of Christ and ourselves. Help us receive the Truth of the Word that will convert us into believers and followers of Christ. Thank You, Lord, that we can receive Salvation, even if we do not obey the Laws; through our faith in Jesus Christ, that fills us with His Spirit and compel us to live by the Word. Father, search our hearts and remove the hate, envy, jealousy, and strife that comes from serving the flesh and this world; and replace it with the things of the Spirit so we will become the people You created. Lord give us eyes that see those who come to cause division among us and upset others faith. Lord, give us ears that hear those that teach against the Truth; those people that are not serving You but are doing what pleases them. Father, let not their fancy talk fool the minds of the weak and those who do not know their evil. Lord, help us be wise in all that is good and innocent of what is evil and may Your grace be with us, in Jesus name Amen
