Romans 7 Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.)

Since I have been following the Lord.”, I have learned more about our Fruit of the Spirit. Christ sacrificed Himself after living as a man because He knew we would not be able to follow the Laws.   So He died not to destroy the Law but to give us grace.  The law was given to show us that we are sinful ( Romans 5:20; 7:7; 3:20, Gal 3:23-25 ). But the grace of God was given to turn us to God (Ephesians 2:8-10 ). Apparently, the Grace of God was not given so that we could continue sinning. He is giving us an opportunity to follow Him in the Spirit that He walked in here on earth. And He wants us to give the same grace He give to us, to others.  But to walk in Spirit, we have to develop The Fruit of the Spirit.  Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Once we develop our Fruit, we will be more Christ-like, and the more transformation we receive, the easier, the walk become.  Our Fruit grows through the hearing of the Word and studying the Word to nourish spirit through faith.  John 15:1-8"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; (we cannot walk with God if we bear not Fruit, He will cut you off) and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit ( as we grow and act on Gods Word, He keeps trimming us; until He shapes us into the person He designed us to be). "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

So thank You God for pruning us, so our Fruit will grow, and Thank You for not cutting us off; and strengthen our Spiritual gifts, special the gift of wisdom, knowledge, and discernment.   Lord, thank You for Your guidance, protection, wisdom.  Father give us Your courage to operate in our gifts with knowledge and truth as we continue to follow You. Lord, You said,  “A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.  Thank You, Lord, for the increase, life, health, and strength, Lord, continue pruning us so our Fruit will grow, through the nourishment of Your Word.  in Jesus name Amen.
