ARE WE IN FULL ARMOR

We are fighting a Spiritual battle daily and we cannot fight this battle with things that are seen, this is an unseen battle in our hearts and minds.  We are fighting for control of our flesh; and since the flesh will never surrender this is an ongoing war until the body is laid to rest.   Our weapon of choice during the battle is the Word of God, THE ARMOR OF GOD.  With the armor of God, we are to take a stand against evil; that daily strives to destroy our faith.  So we must stay prepared for the onslaught of the devil, and his workers; with the faithful protection of God’s WORD

Ephesians 6:11-18 put on the full armor of God so that we can take a stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the power of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Put on the armor of God, so when evil comes we may be able to stand our ground.  With the belt of Truth around our waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, and our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition take up our shield of faith, to extinguish the flaming arrows of evil.  Take the helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.  And be alert always and keep on praying for all Saints.

Father, thank You for another day; thank You for the hedge of protection You have around us.  Thank You, for all the Spiritual Soldiers You have surrounded us with; to help us with our battles.  Thank You, for Your Son’s sacrifice for our sins, and Your mercy and grace. Father, we ask for wisdom and knowledge of Your Word; and fill us with Your Spirit, as You prepare us for our daily battle.  Lord, help us put on our belt of truth, so we may preach Your gospel; and the breastplate of righteousness so we will not judge, but pray for each other, as we lift each other up.  Father, help us put on our shoes of readiness; so we will keep our Lamps burning, for others to see.  Father, strengthen our faith as we extinguish the flaming arrows of our enemies with Your shield.  Father, open our hearts and minds, as we put on our helmet of Salvation; and our Swords of the Spirit, so we will be victorious in our day-to-day struggles.  In Jesus name Amen
