We must have faith in God’s Word to activate the blessings in our lives. Faith comes from hearing the Word; everything that is written in the Word is to teach, encourage, correct, and give us hope. The Bible is an unwavering compass always pointing us to the Truth, and it is that Truth that guides and orders our steps. Jesus declared “He is the bread of life” and if we believed in Him we will never go hungry or thirsty. Just as food to the body; the Word is to the soul, if we starved the body we will die, and if we starve our Souls it too will die.
Father, please let there be peace; in the people that are full of rage and hate, in this country, right now, in the name of Jesus. Lord, thank You for Your faithful blessings and promise, even though we are still sinners. Father, help us guard our hearts, so that we may guard our tongues; and give us courage and kindness to apologize when we do say or do, things to hurt anyone. Lord, free us from all things that hold us hostage; and do not let us imprison ourselves, due to lack of knowledge. Father, let us feel the liberating love and joy, that comes with helping others; and let us continue to bear each other’s burdens. Lord, teach us not to complain; so we do not hinder our blessings from You. Father, let Your Word teach us, rebuke us, correct us, and train us in righteousness; so we the servants of God may be fully equipped for every good work. Lord, thank You, for the price You paid for our sins; and help us be an expression of gratitude, peace, and love, Amen
