GOD’S PEACE

This world is full of violence, hate, and evil, which can cause conflict and turmoil in our daily walk with Christ. But, when we receive Christ as our Savior, we are set free from the world; we have elected a wonderful new life as servants to our Father. Becoming His servants breaks the chains of recklessness, envy, jealousy, and hate, and it is replaced with love for all God's people.   Proverbs 3:1 my children, do not forget my teaching but let your hearts keep my commandments, for the length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. God promises His people a peace that surpasses all understanding, releasing us from the material and fleshly desires. When we have the peace that comes from God, we are not troubled with things and people of the world; we focus more on things of the Spirit. John 14:27 peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as man, and the world gives. So do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid.

Once we have peace, we are more content with ourselves, and we do not need the things of the world; to be pleased. So we start to see and handle people and things differently; because God controls our hearts, so we are not anxious for anything.

Lord, fill us with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, so we may not be anxious about anything of this world. Father, let Your Spirit take away all malice, deceit, hate, and hypocrisy; so we will desire You, like infants longing for Spiritual milk. Father, deliver us from the power of sin and our oppressions; deliver us from bloodguilt and its consequences, so we can obey Your Word and live a life pleasing to You.  Lord, we have been rejected by man; but in Your sight, we are living stones being built up as a spiritual house, to be Holy. Father, teach us how to offer Spiritual sacrifices; acceptable to You through Jesus Christ. Lord, let all people experience the peace that You offer; and the changing power it holds so we may draw near to You and become faithful servants to You and others. Father, we ask for forgiveness of our sins, the past, presence, and future; and we thank You for mercy, grace, and favor. Father, keep a hedge of protection around our children; give them guidance and security from the enemy, and separate them from the world and consecrated to the worship and service of You. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
