Help Us With Our Unbelief’s

When we are born again, we are like babies, and as infants, we have to mature as Christians. So we nurture our children with food and love, and we nurture our spirits with Faith and the Word. If we do not nurture our children with food and water, they will die, and if we do not nurture our spirits with the Word of God, they will die. But sometimes, no matter what we do for our children, some may never grow up, just as some Christian never mature.

But if we want to partake of God's divine nature, we must have Faith. Faith is the foundation 2 Peter 1:5-7, and besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 2 Peter 1:8-9 for if these things are in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he who lacked these things is blind, cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Most Christians are not sure what they believe in, and if we cannot make up our minds about what we believe in, we cannot have Faith. Our Faith is the foundation for our entire Christian life. Luke 1:4 so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught. When we are not sure of what we believe, it opens us up to Satan. When Satan attacks us, the first thing he breaks down is our beliefs. Satan used the same attack on Christ, Matt.4:1-3. Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to Him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." Christ believed in His Father; most Christians are unsure what they think.

Lord, we believe in You to increase our Faith. We trust in You to strengthen our Faith. Lord, Your divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of You who has called us. Lord, You have given us Your great and precious promise so we may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption of this world caused by evil desires. Father helps us not be worldly people but true disciples and helps us develop our fruit of the Spirit; love, patience, kindness, goodness, joy, peace, faithfulness, and self-control. If we possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will help us be efficient and productive in our lives and our knowledge of You. Amen

LET US PRAY IN GOD'S WILL

If we want to draw near to God, what better way than through His word.  When we pray in God's word, we are also praying for His will.

CONFIDENT ATTITUDE TOWARDS GOD

Daniel was the perfect example of self-control and spiritual morals. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego remained faithful to God even when their lives were at stake. So likewise, we need self-control when loving You, Lord, walking in Your ways with obedience. We want to have the belief and faith in You, like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that whatever we do it will exalt You. Daniel and the others knew You have the power to make a man insane and then restore his sanity. They knew You have the authority to restore sight to the blind and give life to the dead; this is the faith we long to have, Lord.

In reading Daniel, we understand that the nearer we are to God, the more self-control we have. Everything we do will exalt Him; our walk is our testimonies. We are to let nothing and no one distract us from God; our eyes must stay on the prizes. We are to live in such a way that others; will long to know the God we serve.

Father, we are worldly Christians; but we are maturing in faith. Lord, give us the self-control of Daniel and the faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Lord, teach us how to be steadfast and help us not waver under the pressures of this lost world. Lord, we want to live a pure and disciplined life. So, for this reason, we will make every effort to add to our faith goodness, knowledge, perseverance, godliness, kindness, and love. Father, we understand our choice to walk with You won't be easy, but neither was Your sacrifice to save us. So we come to You with an open heart and mind that we may be filled with Your wisdom and knowledge to live like worthy servants. Lord, please strengthen our faith and help us with our unbelief and help us abstain from our sinful ways, in Jesus' divine name

Amen

Fornication

To fornicate is to take one of God's greatest gifts, which brings new life, and use it as an outhouse. Of all the sins, Fornication is the most pernicious (destructive) because misusing intercourse affects our whole being. It has gotten to the point where many adults and even children cannot express themselves in healthy ways through communication without falling into patterns of distorted sexuality. We see this daily in our media and hear it described in the intense frustrations of modern music, clothing, and literature. People have more sex and less satisfaction because the "thrill is gone" from their relationships. Not to mention the diseases that plague our lives from having unprotected intercourse, that fact alone should be enough to keep us sexually still. I know this is not a subject people like to discuss, but it's necessary. We do not want to pass to our children that casual sex is ok; we should be teaching them to get to know a person's heart before we get into their beds. The heart connection will last forever; that is why God connected us with Him through the heart, not the body. BUT IF YOU HAVE NO SELF-CONTROL, PLEASE USE A CONDOM

Lord, help us flee Fornication; teach us that all sins other than Fornication are done without the body, but those that commit fornication sin against their bodies. Father helps us understand that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit in us.   Lord, our bodies were brought with the sacrifice of Christ's death, and we are not our own, so we must respect and glorify what belongs to You. Father, let every man have his wife and every woman have her husband. Lord, help us understand that because our society encourages Fornication, You see it as a destructive sin. Lord, even Christians commit Fornication, as many couples live together and have sex before marriage. Father, You said we must flee this sin and abstain from all appearance of evil. Father, help us sanctify our spirits, souls, and bodies and be preserved blameless until we are united in marriage, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Self-Absorbed People

Proverbs 16:9 the heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.

When we follow our will instead of God’s will, we will always fail.  So many times I have witnessed people in the position to make a change, but begin to focus on self. (Self meaning a person’s character and their nature, self-absorbed people are draining to the people around them.  They also receive joy from reminding others about “their “good qualities and never mentioning their bad qualities!).  Then they become very prideful, and destruction comes soon after.  I have had the displeasure of knowing people that felt they were better than other, only to become the people they felt were beneath them.  Then we have those that felt their careers or education made them stand out in the crowd, only to find themselves lost in the crowd.  If we stayed humble, we would all be worthy of mercy and others.  When we are put in a position to help those who are less fortunate, that is our purpose and if we do not serve that purpose not only will we lose the job we will lose ourselves.

Lord, if you help us right now, we will turn our life around!” Father, teach us not to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, and by presenting our lives to You.  Lord, allow Your peace which transcends all understanding, to guide our hearts and minds.  Lord help us understand that You cannot entrust leadership, responsibility, and power in someone who is casual about their relationship with You, but You trust those who strive to please You and uplift Your kingdom.  Father, take our free will to give You the opportunity to work in our lives and move in unprecedented ways throughout this world for a change, in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Study and Meditate Daily

It is amazing how God's word comes together and speaks to us.  When we study and meditate on His word, great things happen. When we put scriptures together, we are conversing with the Father in His will through His word

1Pet 4:10..........As each one has received a gift, let him minister it,   Phil 2:4.............looking out for the interests of others. 1Pet 1:22..........Let us all fervently love one another with a pure heart,  2Jn 1:8.............so that we do not lose the things we have worked for. 1Pet 4:7............Let us become serious and watchful in our prayers, Eph 5:16...........redeeming the time, for the days are evil. Heb 12:1...........Running with endurance the race that is set before us, Col 3:2.............setting our minds on things above and not on things on the earth. Phil 3:14...........But pressing toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God. Eph 6:11...........Putting on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the devil.  Acts 4:29..........That we will speak forth Your Word with great boldness Acts 4:30..........and that You will stretch forth Your hand to heal, Acts 4:30..........that signs and wonders may be done in the name of Your Son Jesus.  Amen

Stubborn And Hard-Hearted People

Ezekiel 2:4 They are stubborn and hard-hearted people. But I am sending you to say to them, "this is what the Sovereign Lord says!" And whether they listen or not for remembering they are rebels, at least they will know they had a prophet among them.

There's someone that woke up but was unable to get up. Some are sick, falsely incarcerated, marriage has failed, and children are disobedient. Some are homeless, not in their right mind, and have just given up hope. Considering all the violence and evil in the world (and all the violence and corruption committed in His own 'holy book'), people have a hard time finding any reason You are worthy of any worship. But do we ever stop and think that what went on in the past and in our lives today is because we have not accepted God? IF we seek God with all our hearts and minds, He will save us. Yes, we will still suffer the adversity of day-to-day living, but we will be at peace. We will have joy; because we will feel His presence and know whatever we are going through, God will turn it around for our good.

Father, we are stubborn and hard-hearted because most of us do not know You, so we have little faith in what we cannot see. Lord, we tend to trust man instead of You because we think we know him. Lord, we do not understand that a man cannot save us. Lord, we come boldly to Your throne to ask for the wisdom of who and what You are and the knowledge of how to gain the prosperity and eternal life of Your promise. Father, give us Your courage to stand on Your Word so we can believe in the unseen. Lord, we have lived in the flesh and understand how hard our flesh can be, so give us Your strength to put our flesh to rest. Lord, teach us how to wear the full-body armor You have provided so that we will be ready for the day-to-day BATTLE of our spirit and flesh. Lord, help us be more Christ-like so we may have self-control when temptation shows its ugly face. Father, You know our needs and wants; please bless us according to, Your will not change our own. In Jesus' name, we pray Amen.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

Matthew 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Father, I come boldly to the throne of grace with confidence, on behalf of all those who are lost, asking that they receive mercy and find grace today Lord.  Father help me lead those that have given up hope to You today through Your word. Father, I want them to know If they seek You with their hearts and minds You will save them.   Lord, I know how hard it is for those that do not know You to have faith, but I know if they seek You, You will save them just as You saved me.  So Lord give them Your courage and strength right now to come, in the name of Jesus.  I am asking the Holy Spirit right now to touch the worldly Christians and help them become true Disciples of Christ. Lord, You said if we come to You with the faith of a mustard seed You will save us.  Lord, I come to You with that faith save someone that has lost their loved one, save someone who is addicted to drugs, save someone who is sick, save someone who has just given up hope, in the mighty name of Jesus.  Father, I want them to feel peace and joy that You have given me, the comfort and glory that I have in my heart for You, I want to share it with them today Lord.  Please step out on faith today God is waiting to save you, so come.  Lord, I am praying for every member of my family, friends, and enemy In Jesus name I pray Amen.

TAME OUR TONGUES

James 1:19 Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters! Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. 20 For human anger does not accomplish God's righteousness. . . 26 If someone thinks he is religious yet does not bridle his tongue, and so deceives his heart, his religion is futile.

We must learn how to bridle our tongue. Words can heal or destroy; this is why we must think and pray before speaking in anger. Once we put the words out there, we cannot take them back. Then, people will forgive you, but the relationship will never be the same. The tongue can speak life and death; "Proverbs 18:21 the tongue and bring life or death; those who love to talk will reap the consequences." The tongues can separate or unite; it can speak love or hate, as well as truth or lies, the power of the tongue.

Father, please help us tame our tongue and teach us to think before speaking. Lord, we ask for guidance through our conversations; let the words of our mouth be acceptable in Your sight. Father, when we feel like criticizing others, remind us to talk to You first, so You will speak through us to others. Holy Spirit helps us control what we say out of our mouths and let whatever we say benefit others, even in anger. Father, let the words we speak be encouraging and uplifting. Lord, we pray you will help us in this area in Jesus' name, Amen.

DAY TO DAY DISAPPOINTMENTS

Our disappointments are different, yours and mine, but we both have them. Yours are as real and crushing and painful to you as mine are to me, and they linger, needling our hearts, despite our best intentions to leave them behind.  Our God is a miracle worker. He can part waters, move boulders, heal the dead, save, destroy, bless, and curse. He can do anything, everything, things beyond our comprehension.

Psalms 91:1-3  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the Fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

Lord thank for directions when the day to day problems and disappointments of life weakens our faith. Thank You for protection from our enemies, and giving us Your strength to forgive those who wronged us. Lord, we understand we fall short of honoring You as we should, but Lord our self-discipline and obedience has improved. Father help us use our time wisely, in Your word, and help us share our knowledge of You, with others. Lord continue blessing us with Your love, peace, and joy, so we will continue to grow. Father, we know the devil and others are watching the way we live our lives. So help us live a Christian life that will be contagious to others, in Jesus name Amen

WE ARE NEW CREATIONS

Luke 5: 36 He told them this parable: "No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. 37 And no one pours new wine into old wind-skin. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out, and the wineskins will be ruined. 38 No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. 39 And no one after drinking old wine want the new, for he says, 'The old is better.' "

God is not impressed by our words; He's impressed with our practice.  Walking around talking about God is good, but are we living what we speak about.  Saying we are saved means nothing if our actions do not confirm it. Luke 5:33-39 explains how some Christians try to take shortcuts with Christ; we want to hang on to our old worldly ways, which we think are patched by attending Church.  Becoming a Christian is a process, just like the process of making wine. Harvesting is the first step (Coming to Christ); then fermentation enters into play (we add the Word of God until the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts).   Then Clarification (the process of removing all the old and replacing it with the New),   the last step is Aging ( the more we study and meditate on the Word, pray, worship, and praise, the more Christ-like we become).  If we do not give up our old ways, there will be no room for Christ in our temple.  The Holy Spirit is like new wine; we do not put new wine in an old wineskin, so He cleanses the ancient temple with the Word, then He fills it with a new Spirit.

Lord, help us release our old ways so that we can become changed men and women; fill us with the Holy Spirit to help us obey You.  Father, teach us how to become a new creation and not be worldly Christians.  Lord, open our hearts and minds so we can receive and understand Your Word.  Father, give us Your wisdom and knowledge so we can implement You into our daily lives.  Lord, help us develop the fruit to become more like Christ and mature into the believers You created us to be, so give us a desire for the things of the Spirit.  Father, we have lost a whole generation and are about to lose another; by not training our children and our children's children in the way to go, they would not have strayed far from You.  Forgive us for not standing up for You as we should; forgive us for our doubts and fears, help us be steadfast in Your Word.  Father, we give up our free will for Your will, help us surrender all to You, and unite Your people from all generations to honor and praise You. as we bear witness to Your grace, in Jesus' name Amen.

WE SURRENDER TO YOU

Romans 6:13 and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Lord, give us the patience and courage to wait on Your will and serve Your purpose for our lives.  Help us not to complain and keep us focused on You. Although, father, we are on a journey with many obstacles, please do not let them hinder our blessings or keep us from sitting at Your feet. Although, Lord, we know that there is incredible power in prayer, please teach us how to pray from our hearts to You. We believe that You are working mighty things in our lives, and We pray that nothing or no one interferes with Your plans for us. Father, we are Your people who have been crucified with You; and it is no longer us who lives but You who lives in us.  Lord, we understand that we are not exempt from physical adversity, so we need Your strength and the Holy Spirit to keep us at peace during the storms so we do not waiver.  Lord, we love and trust You, so please help us surrender our free will for Yours in Jesus' name Amen.

Less Of Me And More Of YOU

As believers, our goal is to be more like Christ.  The life of a Christian is seeking after one goal, Jesus, and as we study God’s word it will make Christ greater and greater, and ourselves, less and less.  Once the word of God fills our hearts it will no longer be us who live, but Christ that lives in us. Then we will understand God’s mercy; is a part of God’s nature, and it will become a part of us as God’s word fill our hearts.  The same generosity, compassion, and forgiveness God give to us we will show to others. Our spiritual walk begins with accepting Christ as our Savior and the Word God will be the road map that leads us to maturity and our purpose.

Lord, the sacrifice of Your Son, redeemed us and made us Your children.  Father, help us be more like Your Son and less of ourselves, give us the peace of Your kingdom which man cannot give.  Lord open our hearts and minds to the wonders of Your love, so we may show the same mercy to others that You have given to us.  Lord, teach us how to pray and seek You daily through Your Words, and keep us in Your will. Lord, let us request humbly through prayer and intercessions that all people live a peaceful and quiet life.  Father, show us that this is good and pleasing in Your sight that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.  In Jesus name Amen

Peace and Completeness

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

When we become at peace, it is the state of wholeness and completeness in our relationship with God and others. So this order will help us strive to do the work of God and help us edify His Kingdom through ourselves.  Our physical relationships, material, and worldly things won't matter because our Spiritual needs are fulfilled in our hearts.  And this will give us the mindset of completeness.

Father, thank You for rescuing Your people from the dominion of sin and spiritual darkness and placing us in Your righteousness and spiritual light.  Lord, thank You for Your desire to complete us and make whole our minds, body, and souls.  Father, continue our sanctification process so we may be set apart from sin and move toward Your Holiness.  Lord, direct us to You and increase our love for one another and all just as You do to us.  Father, thank You for establishing our hearts blameless in Holiness through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Amen.

A Living Testimony

Romans 15:20-21 my ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation. 21 Rather, as it is written:  "Those who have never been told about Him will see, and those who have never heard of Him will understand."

We are all ministers of the Good News; our testimonies will be a current account of God's mercy, grace, and favor. Most people that are dealing with addictions, adversity, and sickness, feel there is no way out and has lost all hope.  But we are that hope. that witness to the changing power of God's Word.  Just as Jesus disciples witness Him change people lives; the loss can observe the same transformations in our lives.  Every believer has a testimony; and that testimony can alter the life of a person that is lost.

Father, let us be a testimony of You grace and mercy be heard by those that need to hear You.  Lord, help us witness to those that have lost all hope in this corrupt world so they may understand the blood still work.  Give us Your courage to stand before others and speak of Your changing powers, Father, let Your light of peace shine through us; for those who have given up to see, that they may experience the same joy You have given to us by accepting Christ as their Savior.  Lord, let us show the world that Jesus is real and if we believe that He gave His life to save ours, we will be saved. Father, help us develop our Fruit of the Spirit so we can become more Christ-like.  Father, thank  You for a new day, and please order our steps in Your will, in Jesus name Amen

The Secret Of The Parables

Matthew 13:4 as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them.
Some people are so worldly that nothing they read or hear from God register.  As soon as something comes into their lives, a better job, more money, a new car/house, or a new relationship they change.  Because God’s words were not in their heart, so the material things of the world ate the words up.

Matthew 13:5-6 5 others fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil; and they immediately sprang up because the soil was not deep. 6 So when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.
Our spiritual walk is a process, and we are not in control of anything.  Once we accept Christ as our Savior, we have taken the first step of our journey.  Now we have to develop a relationship with Christ through studying the Word.  If we do not study the Word we will never be rooted, so we will not produce fruit.

Matthew 13:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.
When we accept Christ as our Savior, we have to let some things and some people go.  We cannot hold on to things that are not of Him because it will always be a distraction. Anything in our lives that is not of the Spirit will try to hinder our relationship with Christ.

Matthew 13:8 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear let him hear!”
Now for those that accept Christ, study His Word, pray without ceasing, praise, worship, and surround themselves with things of the Spirit, they will begin to develop fruit.  Once we start to produce fruit, our faith will mature, our character will change, and our relationship will grow stronger.  Then the Holy Spirit will take over our bodies; we will begin to understand the parables and how to implement God’s commands into our lives.

Lord, give us Your wisdom so we can understand Your parables, and  You will not be a mystery to us.  Father, show us how to be disciples so that we can become part of Your Kingdom.  Lord, give us the desire to study Your Word daily, so we may hear them with our ears and understand them through our hearts.  Father, keep us focused on the things of the Spirit, not the world, so we will believe in the things not seen.  Lord, help us surrender all to You, so we can help others see and hear You.  Lord, continue working in and through us to become a vessel of the good news and lead the lost to You.  Lord, keep us Humble and in Your will, so we can understand it is not about us, but it is all about You.  In Jesus name Amen

Prayer For Purification

The Church is a place where believers assembly to glorify God and to hear the Word preached.  A place where we can receive salvation from the powers of sin.  A place of protection from danger (Jer. 15:20), and for the healing of the sick (Ps. 35:9-10). It is a place where we connect with other believers to grow together, so we can go out to the world spreading the good news we have heard.  But the temple of God’s spirit is our body.  God planted His seed in us before we were born, the Word, prayer, and the Church will water and help God’s seed grow into a harvest of fruit.

Now the problem with most temples they are so cluttered with human interference, we cannot feel God’s presence. (1 Cor. 6:19 Do you not know your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God, and you are not your own.)  So let’s pray for the purification of our bodies and spirit.

Lord, help us understand that our mission is to glorify You as we lead others to Christ.  Father, teach us that we are all God’s children and not one is greater than the other to You.  Lord, help the Church seek to be a congregation of disciples and not worldly Christians.  Father, show us how to stand in the gap for our families, please forgive our sins, and let not our children and our children’s, children suffer the consequences of our sins.  Lord, purify our hearts and minds and take away everything that keeps us from sitting at Your feet.  Thank You, Lord, for Your Son's sacrifice on the cross for us, because without Christ we would be lost.  Lord, help us overcome the addiction to worldly things and give us the will to study Your word daily.  We come humbly in pray in Jesus name Amen

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS

James 2:14-26   what good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have work? Can such faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without addressing their physical needs, what good is that? In the same way, faith by itself, which is not accompanied by actions, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have worked.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

How can we have mega Churches that seat thousands of people, but won't open the doors to the homeless when it’s cold outside.  When a new member joins the Church but has no clothes to wear, why do we not empty our closets to them, instead of judging what they wear?  How could we throw away food, when there are so many hungry children in our neighborhoods that have not eaten?  How can we call ourselves Christian but do not address the issues and needs of our people? We have opportunities every day to meet the needs of someone, It can be as simple as making sure a confused customer finds the right item for their need; or noticing that a new co-worker needs help but is afraid to ask. James urges us to take special concern for those who are vulnerable or marginalized, and we may need to practice noticing who these people are at our places of work, Church, schools, and neighbors.

Father, give us Your love so we may help those in need, Lord give us Your guidance so we may not follow man, but focus on You.  Give us Your protection so we may protect those who cannot protect themselves.  Lord, produce in us Christ-like character so that we can be Your disciples and not worldly Christians, but willing to help the least of us.  Father, teach us how to Fast so we can develop reverence and humility when we pray and keep us humble.  Our Father, who is in heaven Holy be Your name, let Your kingdom come and Your will be done for us as it is in heaven.  Lord, give us the wisdom of Your Word and forgive us of our sins, and strengthen us so may forgive those who have sinned against us.  Lord, thank You for new life, health and strength, in Jesus name Amen

False Prophets

Matthew 7:15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  We are all prophets, but not all are Christians.  Some of us look like and talk like a Christian, but inward we develop no fruit.  We are unforgiving, prejudiced, and we harbor hate in our hearts.  We think we are better than others and want help anyone even though God has blessed us.
Matthew 7:16 you’ll recognize them by their fruit.  False Christian can fool most people, but those that have developed fruit also have discernment so we can see right through them.  If we do not study the Word of God, we will not fully develop our fruits, and we most produce fruit to have Christ-like character.  Now there are times God will call you, and when that happens, He has already prepared you for the mission.  But even then we still have to communicate daily with God to stay strong in Spirit.  Jesus was called, and daily He spoke with God to maintain His strength, courage, and faith.

Matt. 7:24 Therefore, everyone who hears these Words of Mine and act on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on the rock.  If we study God’s word daily, meditate on what we have read, and pray for understanding, we will act like Christians.

Father, with so many false Christians today, help us see through the sheep clothing, so they do not cause confusion.  Lord, teach us how to study Your word with our hearts daily so we may develop Christ-like character.  Lord, give us guidance and help us draw near to You. Jesus, give us eyes that see so we do not stumble over obstacle of day-to-day life.  Holy Spirit come into our hearts and assist us with obedience to God’s Word and order of steps in His will.  Father when the storm comes give us Your strength, so we do not collapse and keep our foundation strong.   Lord, give us Your courage so no matter how long the storm last we will endure.  Lord, please hear this pray in Jesus name Amen

HE DID IT FOR ME HE"LL DO IT FOR YOU

God was trying to get my attention for years, but once I surrender to Him my life begin to change.
I stop caring about what people said about me
I stop worrying about things that were out of my control.
I stop needing someone to complete me
I stop having the desire to hang out
 I stop being self-centered
I stop yelling at my children.
 I stop drinking
I started praying
I started attending Church,
 I started studying God’s Word
I started volunteering
I started giving more than I received
I started forgiving those who wronged me
I started caring for those who did not care about me
I started becoming the person God designed me to be, He did it for me He will do it for you.

Lord, right now there’s someone broken and need a change in their life. Lord use me as a vessel to guide them to You because there is so much interference with them.    Lord, help them to keep their eyes on You and not their burdens and trials.  Father, show them how to love You with an open heart and mind so that they can become the person You created them to be,  Lord, help them not to give up on You, cause You won't give up on Them, God can do just what He said He will do, in Jesus name Amen

Earthly Treasures

We overwork ourselves to gain earthy wealth, then stress ourselves trying to keep it.  That, in the end, want mean nothing to anyone, but those who will inherit it.  And since they received it without sweat or tears, they won't care as much about the material things that you worshipped.
Matthew 6:19-21 do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.

Father, teach us that material things do not necessarily bring happiness, Lord show us There is a difference between material happiness, which implies to having extravagant comforts, and the primary things to live life.  Jesus, You said, “A person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.  Father, help us develop a relationship with You that surpass all material things.  Lord The ones who lays up treasure for themselves is not generous towards You.   Lord, we decree and declare we will seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness and all things will be added to us.  Lord, we confess that we will not trust in uncertain riches but we will trust in You, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.  Lord, we pray to You in Jesus name Amen
