PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Most people want to be forgiven for their sins, but many times their request for forgiveness; leaves them without the desire to truly change, and they continue to dwell in sin.  Only when we ask for forgiveness and change the way we live are we made holy.  We need personal reformation that will help lead us to holy living.  Personal reformation is living in open confession before God “ 1John 1:9 if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  But, when we know better we must do better if we do not practice the knowledge we have gained; Jesus will turn us over to a reprobate mind.  Romans 1:28 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, and unmerciful

Psalm 51:1 Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.  For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. 4 Against You, You only, have I sinned and done this evil in Your sight that You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge. 5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin, my mother conceived me. 6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part, You will make me know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. 9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. 13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. 14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. 15 O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise. 16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart These, O God, You will not despise. 18 Do good for Your good pleasure to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;  Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.  In Jesus name Amen

WE MUST PRACTICE TO MAKE IT WORK

The Bible contains the will of God and His plan for our lives, but we must study the Word to know it and practice the Word to make it work. 2 Timothy 3;16-17 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

When we study and hear the Word of God; it begins to change us into the image of Christ; the things of the world are no longer necessary to us. The Word sets us apart from the world because our values are connected to the Spirit. This is why God works through the heart. We live in a system ruled by Satan; the Word helps free us from being controlled by the system; our flesh is where Satan operates, and we need the Word daily to keep the flesh at rest.   If Jesus resides in us, we have the will to resist sin and obey His Word.   He will give us the strength and power to release ourselves once we repent and ask for help. But, we must commit ourselves to Him daily; to make this work. We must pray without ceasing not only for ourselves but for others too, even our enemies: fellowship with other believers, worship and praise Jesus for His goodness. And believe in His promise. The Word will make us live in such a way people that who do not know Christ will want to.

Father, each day as we come into Your presence through Your Word and prayer, let it reproof, correct, and  instruct us in righteousness, that we may be complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work." Lord, give us ears to hear the Word that will help us transform into a Christ-like character. Father, as we study the Word, let it cleanse us, so our Savior will have a place to dwell in our hearts; and the Holy Spirit will remove all envy, hate, jealousy, and strife; and replace it with compassion, love, kindness, faith and all things of the Spirit, that will help us mature and obey. Father, open the hearts and minds of those that hear us speak Your Word and let them receive what's good, "especially our children and our children's children," as we witness the goodness of You.  Lord, thank You for forgiveness and give us Your strength to forgive those who wronged us. Father, thank You for guidance, protection, and grace, in Jesus' name, Amen.

GUILT, BAGGAGE, AND COMPARISON WILL HINDER US

Three things that can hinder our Spiritual growth: guilt, baggage, and comparisons.
Sometimes we feel guilty and undeserving, but once we accept Christ as our Savior; He does not think of us as sinners anymore, but Saints.  Jesus blood has washed, sanctified and justified us, so if we still feel unworthy; maybe it's because we are not connected to Jesus like we should be because He has paid for our sins. "2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”  Jesus not only died for our sins, He took our sins upon Himself so He could give us His righteousness.
Life can be hard sometimes, and the burdens it hands us can be so hard to bear on our own. But we don’t have to carry our baggage alone. "Psalm 55:22 “Cast our burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain us; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved”. God is glad to carry our burdens and give us the daily strength we need." But, we must ask Him for help and believe He will keep His promise.
We also have to stop comparing ourselves to what society motto of success and worthiness is; because they are serving the world's views and values, and Saints are serving the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Father, Your, Word reminds us of the fullness of Your love for us, even when were sinners.  Lord, we still fall short of Your mercy, grace, and favor, but You still love us.  Father, touch our hearts with Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement You in our daily lives.  Lord, do not let us hinder our Spiritual growth or blessings with guilt, baggage, or comparison.  Father, we should only compare ourselves to Christ, because the world cannot save us, only Christ.  Lord, thank You, for helping us carry our burdens, so we do not grow weary of doing good.  Father, thank You, for freeing us through the blood of Christ, so we are no longer guilty of our sins; when we repent and turn away we are forgiven.  Lord, continue working in and through us so we can grow into the people our Father, created, in Jesus name Amen

Kirk Franklin - I Smile

We all want to be happy, but sometimes trying to find happiness can be a struggle. Often times we search for it in all the wrong places or ways, when the answer is much simpler- God.

Psalm 27 THE LIGHT OF OUR SALVATION

Sometimes when we are in a dark place, we need that ray of light that will brighten our day; Psalm 27 is that light. It is bright enough to lead us through the darkest valley. It reminds us of the salvation that saved us beyond the possibility of being lost.

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked come to me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall? 3 Though an army besieges me,  my heart will not fear; though a war breaks out against me, even then I will be confident. 4 One thing I ask the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze at the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble, he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. 6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; in his holy tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord. 7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. 8 My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" our face, Lord, I will seek. 9 Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior. 10 Though my father and mother leave me, the Lord will receive me. 11 Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. 12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, spouting malicious accusations. 13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.

THE FIRST COMING WAS TO SAVE THE SECOND WILL BE TO JUDGE

John 12:46 “I have come into the world as light so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness .” John 15:22 “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin  “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him”"

The first time Jesus came to earth, He came to deliver us from sin; by sacrificing Himself to save us, so we may live for Him.  Jesus promise that He will give all those who overcome the trials of their faith and follow Him, the right to rule with Him.  Jesus was the atonement that restored our relationship of harmony and unity with God, through God’s grace and forgiveness in spite of our sins.

.John 5:25-29 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself and has given Him authority to execute judgment also because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth -- those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation

Once the gospel is preached to all nations, then the second coming will be near.  There will be wars, famines, earthquakes, false prophets, persecutions, and an increase in wickedness.  The final result of the Second Coming will be the fulfillment of all the promises of the kingdom of God. Satan will be destroyed with all his followers, and the righteous who are granted eternal life will receive new spiritual bodies that are in some ways similar to the old earthly body and in some ways different.

Father, prepare us for Your second coming, give us discernment for and separation from evil.  Lord, let our actions be according to and in line with Your will.   Father, we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is our Savior; that He came to earth as a man in order to live the sinless life that we cannot live; that He died in our place so that we would not have to pay the penalty we deserve. Lord, we confess our past life of sin and living for ourselves and not obeying Your commands.  Lord, we trust You and ask You to come into our hearts, and take up residence; so You can work in and through us.  In Jesus name Amen

CeCe Winans: Mercy Said No

GOD IS NOT A MICROWAVE OVEN

When we complain that God is moving too slow to satisfy our request, our impatience is evidence of our unbelief. “ Matthew 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”  Our patience shows our faith in God’s promise.  Our patience and faithfulness will have its great rewards for things we thought had gone unnoticed by our Father.  We must cling to our Saviors promise as we walk the ledges of desperation, suffering, and pain; so we will become deeply rooted and develop fruit.  To become like Christ is not a seven-step program, it requires patience and spending time with Him daily.

Father, help us be patient and wait for You so Your goodness will not elude us.  Lord, help us steer clear of falsehood and immorality, help us stand true and build each other up in love and faith during these horrible times.  Father, reveal to Law enforcement the serial killer in Seminole Heights that is taking innocent lives; Lord, serve justice to him and all those who have murdered, for their selfish reasons.   Lord, cut down those who think too highly of themselves, and strengthen those who are weak in Spirit.    Lord, we are Your, people; who You made in Your image, so clothe us with Your compassion, kindness, humility, and patience.  Father, help us keep our hope high, for the day of Your return is near.  Father, help us become complete with Your Son, so much that we will be indistinguishable from Him, in Jesus name, Amen

FATHER BLESS THOSE WHO

Zechariah 7:10 and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.' Proverbs 22:22-23 Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Or crush the afflicted at the gate; For the LORD will plead their case And take the life of those who rob them. Jeremiah 7:5-7 "For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor walk after other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

Father, bless those who are abused by their parents.
Father, bless those who are abused by their spouse
Father, bless the children that are sold as sex slaves
Father bless those who are falsely incarnated
Father, bless the men, women, and children that have been raped
Father, bless those who are homeless
Father, bless those who are not in their right mind
Father, bless those that are addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, and sin
Father, bless those who are persecuted because of their skin color
Father, bless those who are wronged by people they trust
Father, bless those who lost a loved one to senseless gun violence
Father, bless those who gave their lives so we can be free
Father, bless those who help the least of us because of need and not for self-gratification
Father, bless those who try to do the right thing but are weak in Spirit
Father, we ask You to bless this lost world and all Your people that dwell here
Father, serve justice to those who oppress, abuse, victimize, mistreat, torment, and torture Your people, in Jesus name Amen

USA FOR AFRICA - We Are The World

1 John 3:1 See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are For this reason the world does not know us because it did not know Him

NO I AM NOT PERFECT BUT I AM SAVED

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Father, we know in our hearts that God is Sovereign and robust; we believe that Your plan for our lives is good, and You have a blessing in store for those who seek Your face. But, Lord, often life presses against us, and we feel stressed; when problems and life overwhelm us and hardships come our way, our focus gets blurry. Lord, we become impatient and think that it all depends on us; we spin out of control, trying to find a fast way out of the storm. Father, our day-to-day struggles make us forget that You created this entire universe; You hold the stars in place, You who knows the exact numbers of hairs on our heads, and You also see the plan for our lives, and we are never alone. Lord, Your favor will rest on us as we seek You first because You hold power to make things happen now; that would otherwise take years if we have faith and be patient. Lord, You will put people in our path You want us to meet, so they can help us grow; Father, You, have open doors that were closed, You have closed doors that would lead us to harm’s way. Father, we need You, in everything and in every way possible; because You are our Savior and we love You, in Jesus name Amen

THE QUALITY OF GOODNESS

Ruth 3: 9“ I am your servant Ruth,” she said. “Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian-redeemer of our family.” 10 “The LORD bless you, my daughter,” he replied. “This kindness is greater than that which you showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor. 11 And now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All the people of my town know that you are a woman of noble character. 12 Although it is true that I am a guardian-redeemer of our family, there is another who is more closely related than I

Naomi life was filled with tragedy, pain, and sorrow; she lost her husband and both her sons.  Naomi life circumstances had made her feel empty, sad, and bitter; like our life situation sometimes do.  Sometimes suffering and trials make us soft and weak and sometimes suffering and trails make us cynical and hard.  When believers are broken and wounded, they become meek and mild; because we depend on God too, fix it.  But, unbelievers are made cynical and hard, they become bitter, unkind, and harsh in their treatment of others.   But the Kindness and gentleness of Ruth, Naomi daughter-in-law help her get through her suffering and pain by her goodness that manifests in many ways.
Ruth and Naomi's relationship grow stronger through their fellowship of suffering.  They had gone through the pain of widowhood together and they cling to each other through the black mantle of death.  Even though Naomi had set Ruth free to return to her family, Ruth stayed with Naomi and remained loyal to the path she had chosen.  Love as strong and dedicated as Ruth is rare, and hard to find; the kind of love that always results in service to others.  The love and trust between Naomi and Ruth resulted in Ruth becoming Boaz wife; Ruth goodness produced a harvest of blessings not only for her but for Naomi as well.

Father, send us a friend that will be loyal to us like Ruth was to Naomi, let us exhibit the same goodness and love; when we face hardship or suffering.  Father, let us not abandon those who are grieving, sick, or broken; but give us a kind and compassioned heart towards their needs.  Lord, help us treat all people as we wish to be treated; and let not our selfish ambition guide us.  Lord, forgive us if we have betrayed anyone that considered themselves our friend and let us not only think of ourselves.  Father, examine our hearts and fill it with the same quality of love, goodness, and kindness exhibited by Ruth to Naomi, in Jesus name, Amen

BEING RENEWED DAY BY DAY

2 Corinthian 4:8 we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair; persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed; we always carry around in our body the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be rebuilt and revealed in us

Father, thank You for planting Your seed, in us before we were born
Lord, thank You for dying so we could live and worship You
Holy Spirit thank You for helping us execute God’s will in our
Lives. Thank You, for waking us up in our right mind, thank that all our children and our children's children are still with us.  Thank You, for providing our needs, and forgive us for not being good stewards with your money; so please replace our fleshly desires,  with the things of the Spirit so we will develop fruit.  Lord, let us not think too highly of ourselves, so please keep us humble and on the path of righteousness.  Lord, we thank you for Comfort compassion love and peace and the completeness Your Word gives us.  Thank You, Lord, for the vocation that You give all people; to become Your children, through our faith in Christ. Thank You, that our calling does not come to us because we deserve it; it comes strictly as a result of Your grace and we are so grateful. Father, thank You for justice for my son Eddie and all those who lives were taken through senseless gun violence hate anger jealousy envy or strife.  In Jesus name
Amen

EVERY CHAIN CAN BE BROKEN

Jeremiah 40:4 "But now, behold, I am freeing you today from the chains which are on your hands. If you would prefer to come with me to Babylon, come along, and I will look after you, but never mind if you choose not to go with me to Babylon. Look, the whole land is before you; go wherever it seems good and right for you to go.

There is power in the name of JESUS to break every chain if you just believe it. The Word tells us we can do all things through Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come to You now in Jesus' name, asking for forgiveness of our sins.  We ask that You remove the curse of our ancestors from us and our children and our children's children.  Lord, give us Your strength of obedience so we will not slander Your name in vain.  Lord, we decree and declare to take the authority You have given us, to fight against the power of darkness and against the Spiritual forces of evil.  We ask that You search our hearts and remove everything that is not of You; we command all demonic spirits of depression, destruction, anger, unforgiveness, sickness, diseases, pain, fear, and doubt to flee from us.  Lord, we decree and declare all addictions to food, alcohol, drugs, sex, and gambling to come out in Jesus' name.  Lord, we ask that You break every worldly chain that we are bound to; help us put on Your armor, so we can be ready when evil comes and stand on Your Word. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

IF WE LOVE CHRIST LIKE WE SAY WE DO

If we could "Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul, and mind; and love our neighbor as we do ourselves" We would not have to be concerned with any other commandment.  But instead: 2 Timothy 3:2-5 we are people that are lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

Father, we say we love You, but if we love You; we would love those who love You, no matter the skin color.  Lord, if we love You like we say we do; we would behave as You desire, not as we please.  Father, if we love You like we say we do; we would not doubt You as we do man.  Lord, if we loved You like we say we do, we would study, worship, witness, and praise You daily; to strengthen our relationship, and nourish our fruit.  Lord, if we loved You like we say we do, we would train our children and our children's children in Your ways so they would not leave when they grow older.  Father, if we loved You like we say we do, we would care for our sick, homeless, seniors, orphans; we would lift each other up instead of tearing each other down.  Lord, if we loved You like we say we do, we could work together in unity and peace.  Father, if we loved You like we say we do, we would not backbite, murder each other, commit adultery, rape our children or hate each other.  Lord, we ask for forgiveness for not loving You like we say we do; Lord, we ask for forgiveness for lying, stealing, and fornication.  Father, open our hearts and minds, fill them with Your Word; so we can become the disciples You created us to be, and love You like we say we do, in Jesus name Amen

THE SPIRIT OF JUDAS

John 13:21 When Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit, and testified and said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, that one of you will betray Me.  Matthew 27:3-10 Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? See to it yourself.” And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he went and hanged himself. But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury since it is blood money.” So they took counsel and bought with them the potter's field as a burial place for strangers.

The enemy went to other people to betray me, but they failed and those same people betrayed them. "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again (Matthew 20:18-19)." They betrayed Jesus, so it does not matter who you are, some people will cross you for any reason.  “Thus those who had eyes to see, and ears to hear, were not shocked that one of my inner circle (“familiar friend”) would betray me because they have done this before.”   They told others not to help me, but they sent me to someone else that could help.  They tried to destroy my works, but God saved the work in other places.  They tried to bring division in my family but, God showed them who they really are, and they will soon reap what they sowed. “No matter what the enemy tries to do when God has another plan for our lives, no weapon formed against us shall prosper.

Thank You, Lord, for revealing the Judas Spirit around me; thank You, for removing them so they cannot harm me physically or spiritually.  Lord, let them get caught up in their own traps that they have set for so many.  Father, show their dark Soul and fleshy Spirit to the world, pull off their sheep clothing and show the true wolf in them; then they can bring no harm to Your children.  Father, let them reap what they sow, and let them feel the same pain they have caused others; because of their lies, love for money and thinking too highly of themselves.  Father, continue to order my steps in Your will, and tame my tongue; as You serve justice to all those who come up against my children and myself, in Jesus name Amen

FATHER HELP ME BE OBEDIENT

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,
Psalm 100:3-4 Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Therefore, enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!

Father, You have never failed to answer me when I apply Your Word and stand on Your promise to what I am praying for or doing, and all You require of me to receive my request is faith in Your Word. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit to help guide and compel me to be submissive to You. Thank You for the Spiritual revelation of forgiveness, patience, and more vital prayer life. Lord, You said, "something good would come out of something bad."  So, I thank You that I am no longer a slave to people who wronged me because of unforgiveness, but I need your daily strength.  Father, please help me tame my tongue and allow You to fight my battles so I will not get weary and weak. Lord, remove every demonic Spirit from around me, my family, and friends right now in the name of Jesus. Father, I pray for my enemies; bless them according to Your will. Father, thank You, for the strong desire I have for Your Word, which has helped me mature into Christ-like character.  Father, remove all hate, envy, jealousy,  or strife from my heart; so I do not hinder my blessings and purpose.  Father, continue working in and through me, so I may serve You and help others.  Father, I ask for healing of this land and Your people, so we can come together in unity and live in peace, and thank You for justice for my son, in Jesus' name Amen

THE WORD IS A LIVING ORGAN THAT WILL TRANSFORM US IF WE STUDY

Hebrews 4:11 Let us, therefore, be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

God sees all things, knows all things, penetrates all things, can do all things, and change anything. He Rulers the heart of believers and can guide our hearts where he pleases. He enlightens our Souls and calls them gently and efficaciously, when and how He wills. Finally,   God means what he says. What He says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.

Father, thank You for a new day, and we pray for the Souls that You called home and the ones that were taken because of hate, envy, jealousy, or greed.   Lord, help us receive Your Word with its changing power so we may be filled with the Holy Spirit that allows us to obey Your commands.  Father, believers, know You, and You know us because our actions and lifestyles bring honor to You.  Lord, as we communicate with You daily through Your Word and prayer, which helps us become inward changed men and women, ready to be used as vessels to serve our purpose in Your kingdom, In Jesus' name Amen.

THE LOSS OF MY SON

Matthew 5:21, we have heard that the ancients were told, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.' "Lord, please bring them to justice."

Father, I am Your child who is called by Your name; I trust in Your Word, and You have kept Your promise to me that if I call on You with the faith of a mustard seed, You will answer my prayer. Lord, my son, was a gift from You that I savored; although some days raising him brought hardship and sadness, he was still a beautiful gift. Father, some Dark Souls took Your blessing from me, so right now, I pray for justice; justice to the evil hearts that plotted against him and took his life. Lord, the grief I have in my heart is sometimes complicated to bear; thank You for comforting me. Lord, I know I will never be the same but thank You for helping me balance the feelings of pain and loss while I move forward with my life. Father, I know You work in Your time, but I ask You to reveal to me and the proper authority which these people are that killed my son. Lord, You have experienced the loss of a child, so I know You understand what I am going through. Lord, give me Your strength and courage to wait on You and Your will for them and not my own. Father, serve justice to those who wronged his children and betrayed his friend; let them have pain and hardship in their pride and greed, in Jesus' name. Father, I pray for justice for those who have lost a loved one because of greed, pride, and foolishness. Jesus name Amen

THE PROMISE OF BLESSINGS AND PROTECTION

The LORD is our provider; we lack nothing as long as we put Him first in our lives. He allows us to lie down in peace when we walk with Him, and He refreshes our souls; when we repent, study His Word, pray, and worship Him. He guides us along the right paths for His name's sake; as we walk through this dark world, we will fear no evil, for He is with us; His Word and Spirit will comfort us in weak times.   He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies so we may have confidence around them. He anoints our heads with oil, and our cups run over; we will receive His promise of blessings and protection as we obey His will.   Believers, know that as long as we follow Christ, goodness and mercy shall follow us; all the days of our lives, and we will live in the Kingdom forever, Amen.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Kirk Franklin - Imagine Me

DO SOMETHING FOR OUR LORD

Matthew 25:39 When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’ 40 And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’ 41 Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.…

The “least of these” refers to those in a needy situation. The least of these are the hungry, thirsty, impoverished, sick, our seniors, orphans, imprisoned and the poor in Spirit.  The needy are called Christ’s “brothers”; and those that are blessed, are expected to bless them. Jesus said, "those who cared for such individuals were not merely serving other people. They were serving Him."

Father, You have blessed us so we can bless others; Father, help us understand "too much is given, much is required.  Lord, give us a desire to help the least of us, fill us with compassion, love, kindness, and faith; so the people will see You through us.  Lord, we abide in the Word, prayer, and praise; teach us to implement Your wisdom, knowledge, and power in our lives.   Father, there's an army of unbelievers raising up, because we have failed to teach them Your Word; so please forgive us and do not reject them. Lord, give us Your courage, strength, and wisdom to witness of Your goodness,  Lord, we petition You for the homeless, the orphans and children sold as sex slaves; Lord, we pray for our seniors who are all alone, for those who have been falsely accused and incarcerated, and we pray for the poor in Spirit.  Father, open our hearts and minds to the Truth of Your Word, let us hold on to what is good; so we will be transformed into holy people that care for and help each other.  Father, let our actions, not our words, reveal who You are in us, in the name of Jesus, Amen

THE GOOD NEIGHBOR

Luke 10:25And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?” 27So he answered and said, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ” 28And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.” 29But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35On the next day, when he departed, he took out two silver coins, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36So which of these three do you think was a neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” 37 And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

Christ is about loving and helping His people and ALL that follows Him does the same; not for self-gain, but for the people, to lift them up and build up His Kingdom

Father, help us be good neighbors to each other; let us not see the need of others and walk by, but show Christ-like character at all times.  Father, remove all pride and selfish desires, so we do not think too highly of ourselves.  Father, let us do to others what we would have them do to us because blessed are merciful for we will be shown mercy.  Father, we need Your strength to love our enemies and do good to them without expecting to get anything back.  So, our rewards will be great and we will be Your children.  Father, teach us that You do not care about how dirty we are, but how dirty our hearts are,  so cleanse our hearts with Your grace, in Jesus name Amen

WHAT COLOR IS CHRIST

The Bible tells us Christ Spirit lives in us, so if that's the case; Christ has no color, creed, or culture, He represents whatever temple He lives in, not how man presents Him in pictures.  Now doing His time here on earth, we are told the Jews, Hebrews, and Israelites were His chosen people; considering they are ALL children of Abraham they are the same people.  But after His death and resurrection, He became a Spirit again, now He lives in our hearts; so He is whatever color or creed we are, and if ALL believers understood this, we could live in harmony and peace.  What part of ALL PEOPLE do we not understand, why do we choose to make Christ the center of our confusion and hate, when it clearly states throughout the Bible that He came to save ALL PEOPLE that believe in Him. God created humans to have unique characteristics and purpose. However, He designed ALL of us to have a commonality and  contentment with our lives through His will

1 Timothy 2:3This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires ALL men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,…

Father, even though some believers study Your Word often, they still do not perceive the Truth; that You came to save ALL people, and there is no longer the chosen few.  Lord, help us understand that You reside in our hearts, not our skin color; so ALL who believe in You are the same.  Lord, help us love You with all our hearts, souls, strength, and minds; so we can love each other the same way because we are now Christ-like.  Lord, we want to be servants that You, uphold and delight in; so please fill us with the Holy Spirit, that will help us become disciples and true followers of Christ.  Lord, we desire to be used by You, so cleanse us with the Blood of Jesus and use us as vessels to lift each other up and help build up Your Kingdom, in Jesus name Amen
