Sometimes we feel guilty and undeserving, but once we accept Christ as our Savior; He does not think of us as sinners anymore, but Saints. Jesus blood has washed, sanctified and justified us, so if we still feel unworthy; maybe it's because we are not connected to Jesus like we should be because He has paid for our sins. "2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” Jesus not only died for our sins, He took our sins upon Himself so He could give us His righteousness.
Life can be hard sometimes, and the burdens it hands us can be so hard to bear on our own. But we don’t have to carry our baggage alone. "Psalm 55:22 “Cast our burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain us; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved”. God is glad to carry our burdens and give us the daily strength we need." But, we must ask Him for help and believe He will keep His promise.
We also have to stop comparing ourselves to what society motto of success and worthiness is; because they are serving the world's views and values, and Saints are serving the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
Father, Your, Word reminds us of the fullness of Your love for us, even when were sinners. Lord, we still fall short of Your mercy, grace, and favor, but You still love us. Father, touch our hearts with Your wisdom and the knowledge to implement You in our daily lives. Lord, do not let us hinder our Spiritual growth or blessings with guilt, baggage, or comparison. Father, we should only compare ourselves to Christ, because the world cannot save us, only Christ. Lord, thank You, for helping us carry our burdens, so we do not grow weary of doing good. Father, thank You, for freeing us through the blood of Christ, so we are no longer guilty of our sins; when we repent and turn away we are forgiven. Lord, continue working in and through us so we can grow into the people our Father, created, in Jesus name Amen
