The LORD is our provider; we lack nothing as long as we put Him first in our lives. He allows us to lie down in peace when we walk with Him, and He refreshes our souls; when we repent, study His Word, pray, and worship Him. He guides us along the right paths for His name's sake; as we walk through this dark world, we will fear no evil, for He is with us; His Word and Spirit will comfort us in weak times. He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies so we may have confidence around them. He anoints our heads with oil, and our cups run over; we will receive His promise of blessings and protection as we obey His will. Believers, know that as long as we follow Christ, goodness and mercy shall follow us; all the days of our lives, and we will live in the Kingdom forever, Amen.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
