GREATNESS IS WHO CHRIST IS IN US

A conversation with a friend one morning; inspired this topic, we need to get out of ourselves and step into our greatness.  We are who we are in Christ, not in ourselves or our possessions.   When we are more into ourselves; than Christ in us, we walk in the flesh.  Walking in the flesh only walks us into darkness, but the Word will give us light when we use it daily.

When we live without Christ we suffer the consequence of our sins; but when we wait for God to order our steps, we walk into greatness and obedience. Luke 1:15 For He shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall not drink; and He shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even in His mother's womb. “this is greatness”.)   There will be trails in our lives, no one is exempt from suffering, JESUS suffered for us and we will suffer for Him, those that love Him.  Greatness does not start out with money; greatness starts out as a thought, a belief, or a vision, just as sin does.  Then we act on our thoughts, our beliefs, and our will or our instruction by the Word; if we pray and ask for guidance before we act God works on our behalf.  But, if we act on our own behalf; we walk out of God’s plan and into the valley of death, with no armor.  The problem with greatness is patience; we are not patient people, we have “that I need it now attitude,” about everything, even food.”   But God works in His time and our readiness; because God knows if He bless us before we are ready, we will fall.   When we are ready we are humble and submissive; the more humble we become the greater our submissiveness to the Word.   The more submissive we are; the greater we become; even in the eyes of man.   Even Jesus achieved greatness through patience and obedience, who are we to rush God.

Father,  we are not capable of walking in the Spirit alone; please give us Your strength and courage to stand on Your Word” in Spirit and in truth.”  Lord, help us lay our flesh to rest with Your Word; as Your truth convict us of our sins, and our love and faith in You help us repent and turn away from evil.   Lord, let us not walk ahead of You, out of Your protection and grace.  Father, teach us how to love and live in harmony with each other, and not be judgmental.  Father, please reprogram us into Your chosen people’, and help us walk in Your will.  Give, us the true understanding of Your Word, so we can walk in greatness with Christ.  In Jesus name, Amen
