NO ONE IS EXEMPTED FROM SUFFRING

Psalm 34:19 A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.  1 Peter 5:10 And the Lord of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory in Christ after  we suffered a little while, He will restore us and make us strong, firm and steadfast.  Philippians 1:29 For it has been granted to us on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him but also to suffer for Him.

But, He will give us the patience to endure suffering; because our trails are what make the worst troubles into the greatest testimonies.  We gain wisdom from our troubles, and the knowledge to make a change in our lives.  But, sometimes we cause our own suffering: For example, if we would use God instructions on how to live we would never be in debt; but our focus is on the things of the world, and not the things of the Spirit.  We worry about our outside appearance; so we spend money on material things we do not need.  We live in a place we cannot afford; drive cars that we cannot maintain, and buy the most expensive clothes, to impress people who do not care.  Money troubles are a sin because we develop debt by lusting after the material things of this world.  If we focus on the things of the Spirit; we would have less debt, more time, and peace of mind.  Yes, we will suffer because Christ suffered; but most times we bring suffering on ourselves, but the good news is God can help us through our troubles in peace.

Heavenly Father, it has been over two thousand years and we still know not what we do.  Lord, please keep us from becoming thick neck people; and humble us to Your will.  Lord, we decree and declare that we will be better today than we were yesterday.  Lord, help us focus on things of the Spirit and not of the flesh; teach us how to bless those in need.  Father, we are all of one blood; unite us in Spirit, because there is no unity in the flesh.  Father, Jesus had one goal: to please You; Lord give us the same Christ-like character, so we may please You.  Father, we proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; and do not seal our lips, help us teach the gospel in Your truth.  In Jesus name Amen
