AS WE COME TO A CLOSE OF ANOTHER DAY

Father, we thank You for considering us worthy and faithful enough to appoint us as Your servants and the servants of others.  Lord, thank You for not allowing temptation to overtake us.  Thank You for being faithful to Your promise “that You will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear”; and thank You for giving us a way out with the strength of the Holy Spirit.  Lord, provide us with a forgiving and loving Spirit, so we will be able to love each other, and develop into the people You created.   Father, thank You, for removing the desire of material treasure here on earth; and opening our hearts to eternal and Spiritual things.   Your Word says, if we walk in the Spirit our Father will provide for us; just as You provide for the sparrows.  But we are worth much more than a sparrow; we are made in Your image.  And whoever acknowledges You before men, Christ will acknowledge them before the Father in heaven. Father, You said to come to You all who are weary and burdened and You will give us rest.  So, Lord, You are our Savior, and we cast all our cares on You, humble our hearts so we will find rest in our souls.  Thank You for covering us in the Blood of protection today and every day, and if it is Your will tomorrow,  Amen, Amen, and Amen
