GOD'S COMMANDMENTS

Matthew 5:17, tells us "Think NOT that I am come to destroy the Law. So why do everyone believe that they do not have to obey the Law when Jesus clearly states the Laws still exist throughout the New Testament?  Jesus clearly said DO NOT EVEN THINK THIS, yet most Spiritual teachers GO AGAINST Jesus teaching by saying that we do not have to keep God's Law, BUT THE LAWS ARE WRITTEN IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.  Jesus did not die to give us freedom to live in sin; He died to release us from death through His death; as long as we repent (turning away from sin and disobedience and turning back to GOD Matt. 9:13), ask for forgiveness and turn away from the sin, we repented. Before Christ, we did not have the option of redemption; the salvation from sin, death, and the wrath of God.

Jesus death gave us the opportunity to be restored to the Father through grace and repenting because He knew we would not be able to follow the Laws.  He even gave us the choice of receiving Him or living in the world.  I choose to follow Him and receive the Holy Spirit that will compel me to obey the Word.  Maybe this is why our government and most of society has turned from the Word of God; because they feel grace mean we do not need to follow God’s Commandments.   Our government has made killing babies legal, but the Word clearly states” Thy shall not kill.”  We have made same-sex marriage legal, but the Word clearly says marriage is between a man and woman. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionist will inherit the kingdom of God.”

John 5:2, 3 "By this we know that we love the children of God when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." Matthew 5:19 "Whosoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Revelation 14:12 says “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  The New Testament continually says to keep the Commandments, but the man says NO, who will we follow man or God.  Now all this is written in the New Testament, what makes us think the Laws no longer exist.
