Romans 15:1-4 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.2 Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, the reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Mature believers are to assist the new believers with their walk with Christ. We are held accountable for each other and should build each other up, for even Christ did not please Himself. Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. We must teach and help new believers understand the Word of God so that through endurance and encouragement of the Word they will have HOPE.
Lord, help us show our weak brothers and sisters how and what You are in and to them. Father, when we are torn between conviction and compassion, help us cast our VOTE for love, love is what pull everything else together. Lord, give us the Spirits of gentleness and kindness, so we may care for our young brothers and sisters in Christ so they will not stumble. May the God of Hope fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him, and obey with the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen
