COMMUNICATE WITH GOD THROUGH PRAYER

Jesus often withdrew to a lonely place and prayed, because He knew Prayer is an intimate conversation with our Father.  God wants us to grow in intimacy with Him so that we will desire to spend time with Him.  We all know that a good relationship requires communication; the same holds true with our relationship with God.  Although nonverbal communication has been around far longer than both written and verbal communication; humans do not interact well without verbal communication.  One of the biggest reasons for divorce is non-communication, and a relationship with God would be non-existent without communication.  God needs to hear our problems so He can comfort us, and give us guidance.  Communications is how God, shares His wisdom and knowledge with us; and the more we communicate with Him, the stronger our relationship and our faith becomes.  So the question is have you had a conversation with our Father today.

2 Peter 1:20-21 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
Jeremiah 36:2 "Take a scroll and write on it all the words which I have spoken to you concerning Israel and concerning Judah, and concerning all the nations, from the day I first talked to you, from the days of Josiah, even to this day.

Father, You, allowed Your only Son to become flesh; so He could dwell among us and show us Your glory, grace, and truth. Lord, He, was able to live a sinless life; and He sacrificed Himself to teach us, that we to could be submissive to Your Word.   Father, we understand that prayer is the way we communicate with You; so please teach us how to pray so that we can know You better and You will know us.  Father, let Your Words encourage our daily walk with Christ and let us experience the power of prayer.  Lord, forgive us for falling short in our prayer life, our worship, and praise, continue blessing us, from the top of our heads to the soles of our feet.  Father, keep a hedge of protection around our children and our children's children; remove every generational curse and demonic Spirit from them, and help us teach them how to pray.  In Jesus name, Amen
