SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS

Believers have the worldwide task of spreading the Good News, the joyous Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ, so He can rescue His people from captivity.  Studying the Word teaches us that loving God and others comes with extraordinary benefits, and the closer we are to Thee, the more sense our lives will make.    The Good News also teaches us patience and to quietly wait on God, even through adversity, pain, and suffering. Then our faith will ultimately produce CHRIST-LIKE character and hope.  Once we view the horrible circumstances of our lives through the Word of God, we see that all things that occur in life help draw us to Him, so we will have purpose and prosperity instead of darkness and poverty. Believers can never achieve goodness through our own efforts; we need the Holy Spirit that compels us to be kind, faithful, have self-control, and be obedient to the Good News.  The Holy Spirit also gives us peace because our minds and hearts are controlled by the Spirit.

Mark 16:15 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. "The first place to teach is at home, teach our children, families, and friends,"

Father, give us Your courage to spread the Good News to those who need to hear.  Lord, we understand that to receive Your promise, we must do as instructed by the Word, and Your promise will be fulfilled in our lives.  Father, help us study the Good News and give us the understanding of the truth; so we may receive restitution.  Lord, teach us patience and let us not complain; while we wait quietly for Your return.  Father, let our adversity and pain draw us near to Thee; and help us develop Christ-like character and the hope of a better tomorrow.  Father, give our lives purpose and prosperity; instead of darkness and sorrow, as we achieve goodness, kindness, and faith through the Word.  Lord, thank You for forgiveness and help us show those that wronged us mercy.  Lord, forgive us for falling short in our prayer life, worship, and praise.  Father, continue working in and through us to serve Your purpose; and help us repent and turn away from sin, in Jesus' name Amen.
