THE SAME MEASURES WE GIVE

We can only judge a person's action, not their motive; we see a young lady on the streets, instead of trying to help we look down on her.  Never knowing, she was raped by her mom's pimp at thirteen; ran and away to stop the abuse, with no guidance, so she whines up on the streets.  Now we see her walking the streets, the first thing we do is judge her; forgetting about when we were in the darkness,  slimy pits, and someone helped us out.  Now we sit on the throne and judge others, instead of reaching out; we TOO have been judged by a higher Authority, with the same measures we decided her by, it is written.  So if we cannot judge a person's action and motive, do not judge, because judging is a sin and we will be judged with the same consideration as we give.

Luke 6:37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Father, help us accept each other without quarreling over disputable matters; because no one is in the same place with You, we all sin.  Lord, we are all fall short of Your glory; so give us eyes that see our sins and no one else.  Father, we are saved by grace through receiving You as our Savior and the conviction of Your Word, so we no longer live for ourselves; because we have been brought with a price, His Blood.  So if we live, we for You, and if we die we die for You, because we belong to the Lord.  So help us not judge each other; let us not treat each other with contempt, for we all will stand in the reckoning.  Father, let us not put stumbling blocks or obstacle in each other's way; but work in unity and help all Jesus followers sit at His feet.  Lord, we thank You for forgiveness, and remission of our sins, in Jesus name Amen
