REPENT AND BE FORGIVEN

How can we believe that Christ died so that we can live in sin; we cannot possibly think that we can willfully live in so and walk with Him. Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” so I think that means we have to give up some things.  Now, we all have something we can and should give up; that why we should not worry about someone else sins just focus on our sins.  So, if we believe the Word, we must believe everything that is written; even though God’s wrath is no longer preached in the Church, it has not changed.  Believers do not let anyone tell you we can willfully live in sin and be forgiven; the Word says repent, and convert then we are forgiven.” But maybe that’s only in my Bible.”

Luke 24:46-48  He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things.

Father, teach us the Truth of Your Word so we can test every Spirit; to see whether they are from You.  Lord, give us the ability to judge well, so we are not exploited; by people that only identify with You by name.  Father, let the Holy Spirit lead us and give us direction; as we walk into Your plans for our lives.  Father, give us patient so that we will wait on You; and let us not walk ahead of You, and out of Your protection.  Father, we ask for forgiveness of our sins; and give us Your strength and courage to, repent and turn away from unforgiveness and all sins.   Father, touch our hearts and minds with Your Spirit so that we will have a strong desire for Your Word; and the love to obey, You.  Lord, thank You for sending Your only Son; who death gives us restitution, so we may be restored to You, through  our faith and submissiveness, in Jesus name
